Newt was fantastic tonight on Hannity as they mostly discussed the Obama administration’s lies about Benghazi and his apology tour.

Newt's wrong. I don't think 0's deluding himself, I think he actually sides with the Islamists and every other enemy of the US. He just tries to hide it from the sheeple.

Perhaps the clearest early expression of relativism is found in Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics (350 BC), Book V, chapter 10:

It is the opinion of some people that all the rules of justice are conventional, because that which is natural is immutable and has the same authority everywhere, as fire burns equally here and in Persia, but they see the rule of justice continually altering.

But this is not altogether true, though it is true to come extent. Among the gods indeed it is probably not true at all; but in this world, although there is such a thing as natural justice, still all justice is variable.

PRES. MORSI OF EGYPT SEEMS OK TO ME

He sat down for an interview with the NY Times and said a couple of things that reminded me of the tolerant relativism espoused by Aristotle in 350 B.C. -

“If you want to judge the performance of the Egyptian people by the standards of German or Chinese or American culture, then there is no room for judgment,” he said. “When the Egyptians decide something, probably it is not appropriate for the U.S. When the Americans decide something, this, of course, is not appropriate for Egypt.”

He was troubled by the gangs and street of violence of Los Angeles, he said, and dismayed by the West’s looser sexual mores, mentioning couples living together out of wedlock and what he called “naked restaurants,” like Hooters.

“I don’t admire that,” he said. “But that is the society. They are living their way.”

Those who attempt to walk a moral-neutral line will always fall to immorality. Amoralism cannot exist in action, but only in theory.

Obama, the most ignorant world leader that we have seen in our American history. He is giving the money for the terrorist, and haters of America to attack, and murder our citizens, but some leftist believe he is doing right. How can any justification be given that is truly honest, that would allow our Tax dollars used to fund the Muslim Brotherhood? Obama has said in earlier years he would stand with the Muslims-here is the evidence. This is truly a wake up call for anyone who is an American, and believes it should be free, and without terror from radical muslims.....Time to stand for America-Time to deliver a clear-overwhelming message to the world. We will no longer stand for it---VOTE OBAMA OUT OF OFFICE.......

If they like Islam so much, why don't they move there? They're all tough talkers, just like Ambassador Chris Stevens, and they are really afraid.

I'm sick and tired of Zero saying things like, "Since our founding." You don't know jack about our founding. And take Clinton over there and let them drag that fat hog, through the streets of Libya. It's time she pays a price for the damage she's done.

NJK

Newt's great. He was my guy because of his ability to stand up for America, and he's a leader. He's a General. Romney is nice, but nice isn't always the way to go.

People can talk all they want about Obama lying, committing crimes, etc., but he's been allowed to do it. I don't know how Sean even refers to him as President. Sean, I wish once, you would just stop calling him President. Call him, "Obama." He never deserved the title. He's a Muslim Brotherhood and Weatherman operative. He should be tried and executed.

To Jerusalem we march martyrs by the millions huh? There's your buddy in Eqypt telling it like it is Obama. They want to abrogate the hudna with Israel...and Obama along with the equally daft HRC want to cozy up to the 7th century rats. What a clueless bunch of maggots they are. That's OK, November is comming. Obama can go to his new pad in Hawaii and HRC can go back to being the old dried-up hippie yenta she's always been.

"To Jerusalem we march martyrs by the millions huh? [...]"

That sounds like what was said by Nasrallah in the satirical peace "The Muslim War Council" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IDjBiuHPqE&t=2m51s And although this satirical peace was filmed two years ago, only little would be needed to bring it up to date - like the inclusion of Mursi.

LatmaTV is besides being funny as well often on the point in their analyses. And as their songs are often worth to watch. As example the song text of their "The Iranian bomb - The song" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuEhhPbAAdA describes - despite being two years old - still valid. And they haven't lost the nessesary optimism "A Rosh Hashana Song from Latma" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8S2vLcArd8g

And while that is the reality on the ground, the Obaminites continue to display a insouciant willingness to invent a new ME fable every day. (h/t Michael Ledeen)

The polls are so skewed towards Dhimiratz its pathetic. Even the Obaminites have figured that out. Romney in a romp in November by 5-7+ points.

No, I haven't seen it yet - but it would be in line of my expectations so it doesn't surprise me too much...

I just hope that the post-Obama period (hat-tip to LatmaTV) comes sooner rather than later. And thanks due the several reports about the heavily skewed polls, this report http://www.wnd.com/2012/09/secret-retirement-plans-does-obama-expect-to-lose/ and this report http://hillbuzz.org/could-a-lack-of-street-money-in-chicago-cost-obama-cook-county-and-thus-illinois-listen-live-1030pm-cst-mittromney-presobama-barackobama-41739 I remain optimistic. 79-YEAR-OLD DISABLED VET FACING JAIL TIME FOR HAVING JUNK IN HIS FRONT YARD

THAT HE FIXES UP TO SUPPORT HIS WIFE

A 79-year-old disabled veteran is

facing one month in jail for having too much junk in his front yard — junk that

he fixes up and sells in order to keep his home and buy medicine for his wife, the Rock Hill Herald reported.

John Ramsey was first convicted in

January of keeping junk in his front yard, a misdemeanor offense in the small

rural town of Clover, S.C. He was ordered to clean it up, or face 30 days in

jail. He cleaned it up.

But last month, the court ruled

Ramsey‘s cleanup effort wasn’t good enough. He was held in contempt and given

two weeks to pay $500. Ramsey — living on $898 a month in Social Security and

veterans benefits — didn’t have $500, so when the deadline passed he went to

the police department to turn himself in. Instead, town officials told him he

had a hearing on Monday to determine whether he should go to jail for being

unable to pay his fine.

“They are gonna give me 30 days,”

Ramsey told the Herald. “For junk.”

According to the newspaper, the

Korean War veteran collects anything he can, including washing machines, bricks

and wood, and strips it down to sell. The money goes toward paying utilities

for his home and keeping his wife — also disabled — alive. He got rid of the

washing machines and other items during his cleanup, and the bricks and wood

are neatly stacked. A fence is currently under construction to shield

everything from view. Ramsey’s building it himself.

“Ain’t got a dollar to pay fines; I

sure ain’t got money to pay nobody,” he said.

No neighbors have complained to the

town about Ramsey’s yard, the Herald reported, and it seems the only person

bothered by it is the town’s code officer who started the proceedings in the

first place. Ramsey‘s public defender tried unsuccessfully to argue that the

town’s law about keeping junk was vague, but a jury was not swayed.

12grace... I'm kinda torn on this.... I' have not seen the guys total yard, but I've seen others ... and they are often very very un-pretty sites to behold. It appears from this one picture, his stuff is mild compared to what I have seen.

My brother had a serial "collector" around the corner from his house... and the municipality fined him and actually came and hauled away the junk. It was infested with rats which fled into the woods and caused problems in the houses around while they sought refuge elsewhere. The lot remained clear for about a month until the junk started accumulating yet again. Within a year it was back to the same old problem. My brother finally moved (not because of the junk) so I don't know the outcome... so I believe a man's home is his castle... but... when property values decline because of it, then that's an obvious result no one wants.

p m
p m

We've had a few like that - it'd be nice if the neighbours would help build a fence, specially now his circumstances are known, i.e. caring for his wife while he's also disabled. They hadn't complained, maybe that's why, they knew him. (Assuming a fence would make the problem go away, that is. As for the vermin - yukky but true.)

Awesome! I can’t wait to hear how it goes.

Today, we are going to see 2016 again. I didn’t see the need personally to see it a second time but it is playing in town, which is a surprise (liberal little

town) AND My mom who is 89 asked about it. We're taking her, her caregiver, and three of her friends from bridge group. One is a very out spoken Conservative, and another is a super liberal from New York who lives her part time.

My husband said earlier this week, popcorn was on him!

Depending on their reactions, we might spring for dinner so we can discuss at length.

And you certainly don't want to p1$$ off your liberal dentist, or he will remember that when it comes time for that root canal!! YIKES!

poljunkie
poljunkie

You know its funny sDee, after I wrote this comment, I reflected and it dawned on me that over the past 8-10 years my hubby and I have become very selective about who we do business with. Initially, when we first got married 25+ years ago we didnt do that but now we do. If we have the choice between a conservative or liberal dentist we chose the conservative. Naturally, we dont always have the luxury of knowing ahead of time, but when dealing with people- one on one, their values and beliefs come across- even when discussing a root canal.

poljunkie
poljunkie

I know, I cant wait. The "care giver" is solid conservative. I looooooved that. She started working for my parents about 2 years ago when my dad first became ill. He since passed away, and now she is a companion with my mom. It is going to be fun and interesting!!!
