the GOP and Republican leaders like Newt here are awful, they know how the national media loves to use any pretext to go after conservative and republican leaders and instead of lambasting the national media and their concocted story of rhetoric and the leaders and taking heads on the right having cause and effect to the shooting, he decides to ply on Sara Palin and praise Obama, for doing something that any President at the bare minim should do .
No wonder Obama's approve is at 54% , he doesn't have a opposition party, my God what has happened to the GOP, they spend more time appraising Obama then criticizing him, in the lame duck they practically passed his whole agenda, they didn't even try to stop it. No one talks about the mess in Afghanistan, the death toll, $100 oil, 10% unemployment, the 1 trillion deficits, 14 trillion debt, a year after Obamacare passed, healthcare is more expensive And American foreign policy is a joke, Iran, North Korea,China, middle east, not only has nothing improved it's all gotten worse.
Everyone knows the national media doesn't talk about any of this, if it was Bush every day it would be talked about and all laid at his feet , all his responsibility, now with Obama it's as if nothing his responsibility, and the GOP are letting the liberals , national media set the narrative, GROW SOME BALLS YOU COWARDS OR WE WILL FIND OTHER LEADERS.

This is wrong, actually. He has been very encouraging to our Montana Tea Party group Montana Shrugged. He/Laura Ingram sponsored them to go to an event last summer back east somewhere - probably Gettysburg. Anyway, he hasn't ALWAYS been against the Tea Party. ....Maybe he just needs to slow down and think it through........

I used to respect Newt and some other republicans once upon a time. What is it with these guys though, whether they're too long in Washington or whatever- none of them have any back bone! They roll over when the lame stream goes on attack, they do the same thing with the libs. Seems like when libs are in charge, the republicans may bark once in a while, but are somewhat going with the flow. When they have gained power and the libs start to whine, they sit together and reach across the aisle. Am I the only one tired of this kind of crap? I'm not really surprised by Newt's comments anymore- but I do hope the new freshmen (and women) have more b@lls than the insiders. One more thought- brings me to the next presidential election. This is why I'd rather see a new face running- like Allan West. No more of the same old same old- it's getting... well... old.

And herein lies the reason Republican's can't win elections... Can't stay together. Palin is clearly on his team and it is early in the election cycle but he still can't resist the temptation to shout down from Mt. Elite on to the masses, and he'll end up coming across just like John Kerry.
Stupid. He will need her help if he considers a run and just wasted an opportunity to destroy the hate-media on live television.
Sarah Palin quoted the Bible, 2 Timothy 1:7 (my life verse btw), "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
She doesn't have to slow down and think it through newt; she gets it right right off the bat
If this elitist arsehat gets the R nomination, I'd likely vote for Obama so the communist/progressive v. conservative debate will continue for four more years in America. I think the longer that debate is around, the better for conservatives in the future.
I WILL NOT vote for the lesser of two evils ever again.
Next time I just might vote for the worst of two evils just to get this debate fully aired and settled in America - whatever it takes!

I want the debate between freedom/liberty and communism/progressivism and tyranny complete in America once and, hopefully, for all.
I despise Obama and his minions.
But I will not vote for another establishment repukicrap. So, I guess it's up to the repukes to come up with a sound conservative constitutionalist for a candidate. Otherwise I vote to continue the debate and if that forces a civil war - so be it.
The debate needs to be settled - one way or the other - in our generation.
