That’s two points for Newt.

Keep it coming, Newt. You’re on a roll.

Newt’s still an a-hole but what he says in this instance does make some sense. However, he won’t follow thru; neither will Romney. I think Santorum might try but he’ll fail too. Al least they’re finally going after Barack instead of each other.
- Maxsteele
So what’s your point? That the do-do, conspiracy theorist is the only one who can do it? Or did you not mention Paul for another reason?
- Anonymous
My point is Newt won’t get it done. He won’t shrink the size of government to where it needs to be to get the economy going. He’ll try using some ridiculous government program, trick, gimmick, etc. to get the economy going, then lie about the results when it doesn’t really happen. Romney will do the same. Santorum might be able to get it done, but I doubt it. Newt’s past record is questionable at best and he slept around on his wife. If you ridiculed Clinton for adulterous behavior then you have to put Newt in the same league, if you don’t you’re a hypocrite. Newt’s a big government progressive and so is Romney. Santorum says he won’t get rid of the EPA, that also smells of big government. If you believe Congressmen Paul is un-electable, then the other choices in my opinion aren’t much different than John McCain and the election outcome will probably be the same. The US will be un-recognizable after that and things will only get worse. As long as we keep electing big government statists to the Presidency, the US decline will continue. Newt, Romney, and Santorum can’t or won’t stop it.

I agree 100% as far as Newt and Romney are concerned. I also have questions about Santorum’s commitment to smaller government. He did vote for no child left behind and the Medicaid prescription drug benefit. Unfortunately Santorum’s the only option left. Ron Paul is a nut and his foreign policy is nothing short of suicidal. I really wish Perry had caught on.

The only issue here about Newt’s affairs and those of slick willie, is that willie never repented.
- Anonymous
And he got a hummer in the oval office while on the phone with the Israeli PM. Violation of national security but somehow that isn’t as bad as Newt or Herman. Liberals are idiots.
- Anonymous
And he lied about it under oath which put the entire country through the wringer.
I despise his morals but what I hold him most accountable for was lying about it to America, needlessly focusing all our attention on the underbelly of a reprobate in the oval office instead of attending to issues of the day.
- Paula Coyle
You call blaming stress and hard work ‘repentance’? EVERY guy gives that excuse! If you were the wife would you buy that? “oh I was stressed and you were unavailable!”

I got news for you MikeBri527….Newt will get it done!!!!!!! He is the only one on that stage that has done it! He did it in the 1990s and he will do it again as President.
- Anonymous
Well I’m glad you believe he will.
What did he do in 1990 that was so great that reduced our taxes, reduced our deficit, removed useless regulation, shrank the size of government, or anything like that?
Give me proof! Show me your evidence!
We’ve all seen this before. Look into his past, listen to the interview he gave Glenn Beck. Newt is a big government progressive. He won’t make the big cuts that need to be made to get our economy going. He’ll propose some government program that won’t work and then lie and say that it’s working. He’s no different than McCain. In the last election we had two choices Obama and “Obama-lite”. This year will be no different.

Loved it ! Newt is great in a debate.

RED MEAT!!!!

Oh Yeah!
Have you ever wondered how much the economy could improve if every dollar that parents pay into health care premiums for young adults could be used for something else? For most families it’s a couple of hundred bucks a month per kid. That’s a lot of spending money for the average family. And that doesn’t even include the spending money in that young adult’s paycheck.
- Anonymous
I laughed out loud when he suggested that. Very shrewed.
Well, guess he lost the young voters now…

I heard they’re voting for Ron Paul anyway.

”elect us and your kids will have work” It just does not get any more clearly defined than that. Newt hits another homerun.
I really cannot wait to see him against the Obamination in a debate. I imagine it will be on an epic scale of ”there you go again” levels.
Go Newt Go!!!!!!

Socialist Crony Capitalism vs Venture Capitalism:

Another great moment from Newt where he suggests that the reason Obama wants children to be able to stay on their parents insurance until they are 27 is because he knows they won’t be able to get a job and afford insurance in this economy. Newt then makes an offer to the parents of America:
“Elect us and your kids will be able to move out because they’ll have work!”
