Niall Ferguson says there is a lack of political will in the EU to deal with the debt crises of its countries and that this complacency will likely lead to a crash later this year, similar to the one that occurred in 2008 in the US.

Note: When you hear Ferguson refer to the acronym PIGS, it stands for Portugal, Italy, Greece, Spain. The acronym PIIGS includes the addition of Ireland.

He comments that the German government doesn’t want to “right a big check” to bail these failing economies out. Socialism seems to appeal to the emotional irrationalities of many people; although, when put into practice, even the staunchest supporter of the failed religion of socialism puts on their conservative caps and suggests the opinion: deal with your own mess and reign in spending. Bailouts don’t work? I thought that was the popular, caring, mainstream solution to our global economic problems? Mr. Ferguson claimed it is a “collective” problem. No!! Really? The word collective should be regarded as the most disgusting word in the english language. America used to be a country where policy was made. Now, America is the smart kid in the back of the room that has all the answers, but goes along with the collective wrong solution proposed by the class full of dummies because that is the compassionate, trendy thing to do.

Trouble is when you get enough socialists in place, such as the USA allowing 15 million primarily Hispanic illegals to come in and that they spit babies out at a rate of 4 times the national average to ultimately piggyback and vote for the liberal parties, you’re pretty much screwed.

Only a catastrophic financial collapse can reset the system, and even then you’re now looking at permanent youth and union riots as those people will never choose to work if they can steal from taxpayers in the name of ‘fairness’.

I hate that what you’re saying is true. The majority of people take the path of least resistance. Why would you work if someone else is supporting you? Bailouts should be illegal, strictly because it forces the competent and responsible countries to come down to the lowest common denominator. America should pride itself and set itself apart, so when socialist countries fail, we can say, “see, I told you so.” After citizens in these countries see their purchasing power decrease, they will peacefully or forcefully expel these government tyrants until they are happy. Our spirit is competitive and our leadership is futile. These other countries have arcane economic policies and we began an evolved economic policy that has catapulted us into the forefront of history.

The problem is that the people of Europe have little concept of sound money and the principles of limited government and self-responsibility. In the last few years, the only significant protests in Europe have been socialist ones, demanding more government and more of the same problems. The people are utterly clueless!

Same could be said for many America too, however. Though in America, there’s the massive Tea Party movement, which is way ahead of the curve in terms of being able to identify the problems and solutions.

The Tea Party is such a breath of fresh air. I love seeing the vitriol and hatred on the faces of elected officials when they confront the “racist (yeah right)” Tea Party movement. Career politicians know that the Tea Party is around every corner, waiting for these politician parasites to make a mistake.

As a Brit (and therefore reluctantly a European) I would love to take offense and dispute your comments about my countrymen. Unfortunately, I just can’t – you are dead right. Even our so called right wing Conservative party is now just a slightly right of left of centre spending machine and even the tiny cuts in public spending that they propose is under constant attack by a population largely indoctrinated by our left wing state media.

Brits who think in terms of personal freedom, are offended by creeping state control or are even aware of Hayek’s ‘the road to serfdom’ are rarer than rocking horse crap unfortunately.

I truly hope that the tea party can do for you in 2012 what it did for you 2010 – and not just for your benefit. The world is a better place with one free Western country as a shining beacon showing the rest where we’ve gone wrong.

The Road to Serfdom is an awesome book my friend!!

What are these guys talking about?  “Asthe political situation deteriorates.”  So, if the incumbents win, the “situation” won’t “deteriorate?”  The unpayable debts are just as unpayable.  It seems to me, no matter what, people who are expecting payments and services aren’t going to get them.  Sounds like the US.

It’s going to be a long, hot summer.  Reminiscent of 1968 and 69.  Put on your bell bottom jeans, your headband, and crank up the Jimi Hendrix.

The Medieval Spring in the Middle East could well end up here with the Long Dark Summer of Sorrow.  Please be prepared for it. Your Union shops are flush with cash, and angry as a hornet’s nest built over a roasting pit. Hamas has been emboldened by our Post-American President, and Iran thinks the 12th Imam is comin’ down the chimney tonight.

Guess what? It’s coming to this country also. Just a matter of time.

Get your wife accustomed to a burka. It seems individualism is becoming a dirty word in it’s birthplace.
