Romney needs to go beyond Benghazi and attack Obama on his overall foreign policy and drive it home that Obama has been a failure at all points. This debate is war, and Romney needs to look at it that way. Obama will bring up more of his feigned 'offense' at whatever Romney has to day. Romney needs to hit back saying that the American people are offended on how Barack Obama characterized the death of 4 Americans. Romney needs to expose Obama for the failure that he is on all counts and hammer these facts in the next debate.

The article mentioned is a "Opinion" piece. There is no proof. Just more desperate spin by Obama.
No matter how they spin it, they still have a problem because the President has told two contradicting stories about the attack. He claimed in the debate that he called the Benghazi attacks an act of terrorism the very next day. But on Sept 24th he went on "The View" and refused to label the attacks terrorism. When asked specifically if it was terrorism, he said “We’re still doing an investigation. ... We don’t have all the information yet, so we’re still gathering it.” That's not a consistent message. How can you claim to have called it terrorism from day one if you refused to call it terrorism on day 13?
Spin as they will; the truth is out. To continue to spin in an effort to erase the truth just makes for a deeper hole. It's like as if a super assertion of the spin will remove the heat. Reminds me of Bill Clinton with that 'look you in the eye" and expect sheer power of personality to erase the facts. I'd like to say, " Good try, pretender", but it wasn't even a mediocre try. The pretender can no longer pretend. It's over.
Catherine nailed it....as long as Obama spins the word terrorism, the terrorists are going free and becoming"emboldened" as Catherine puts it. I hope Romney attacks this President on his failure to provide adequate security, his failure at an attempt to launch a rescue and his failure to capture and or kill the ones responsible. I hope Romney plasters him to the wall on these Benghazi issues. Obama is pitiful and should have NEVER been elected President. He has done nothing but cause chaos in this country and abroad...what a mess he has made of everything.

Dear God. They need to be prosecuted for treason. I watched the video this morning, Dreams from My Real Father about Obama. I believe Frank Marshall Davis may be his real father, and Obama is really dangerous. This isn't going to work for him and the media.
This media needs to be tried for treason also. Freedom of the Press doesn't mean freedom to commit anti American activites. Frank Marshall Davis was on the FBI watch list for years. They have to know the truth about him, within this govt. There is no way they don't know.
Hard to believe the CIA would leak documents that make the CIA look stupid and inept. if the CIA wants the world to think the CIA believed this was a spontaneous protest over a movie, when any average citizen with half a brain that saw what was going on knew better, and was able to put 2 and 2 together on 9-11, then the CIA is politicized, useless, has lost all semblance of pride and probably should be shut down in favor of a competent intelligence agency.

It occurs to me that Obama killed Bin Laden, then he got Qaddafi killed, ( Liberating Libya...) and then worked with Libyan revolutionaries to secure the weapons stockpiles and move them to Syria to overthrow Assad. Trying for a home run.
But he had no idea who he was really dealing with.
Or, Osama Bin Laden was dead in 2002, and the Libyan and Syrian rebels were pretty much Al Qaeda, and Obama was making sure that they took power in the end.

The CIA put out a "talking-points" memo the day before Rice's five-network tour claiming, as Rice claimed, that a demonstration over the youtube video escalated into a riot that led to the deaths of the ambassador and 3 others. This provides Rice with very little cover since WE KNOW the state department had - in real time video - proof there was no demonstration. These CIA leaks only serve to prove that the CIA is now actively engaged in the cover-up to protect Obama and the White House ahead of the election.

In the debate the President glaringly neglected to offer condolences to the families filling his time with a defensive and clinical answer.

I saw a story in my local paper this week of all these people on the street in Lybia saying the attack was not coordinated, amateur and some people did not even have guns they just jumped in when they saw the action.
