I'm sorry, but the very word, "bailout," implies a sinking boat. You have to bail out the water, to keep the boat from sinking. I guess if the people who are in the boat, are able to bail out the water themselves and save the situation, that would be a good thing. That represents the idea of someone taking care of themselves, without help from others. Bailing the water out of a sinking boat and then repairing the damage to the boat and putting up sail.
Somehow, I don't think that's the picture Obama had in mind. You see, a sinking boat can be saved and repaired by the people who are actually in the boat. But Obama bin Welfare doesn't want you to think like that. He wants you to think you are helpless against all the forces against you. Never mind that the biggest force against you, is your own Federal Damned Government. That aside, if he can convince you that you are helpless, without the Government, then we will become a Socialist nation. It's easy. You don't have to do anything for this to happen. Actually, if you choose not to do anything, it just makes his job that much easier. With most of brain dead America, that's what he is counting on.
It's just that damned stubborn majority. Did I say, "majority?" I meant to say,"minority." Cause that's the way they think of us. You like that label? You shouldn't, but that's how they think of you. That won't change, until you change. We are actually the majority, you know. We've just been asleep. Well folks, it's time to wake up. The enemy is already storming the gates and there's no one there to defend them. Melodrama is great, isn't it? Here's a wake up call for you. It ain't worth squat. I just gave you a little bit of Hollywood to draw you in to how they trick you into believing that the future they have planned for us is the right future.
I'm sixty-eight years old now. I can't reach young people anymore., because they don't trust anyone over thirty. I know, because when I was their age, I didn't either. It's a national sickness. I actually appreciate all the people who have lived life and know what a nightmare this President really is. I feel a kinship to them. Because, if this Madman is re-elected for another four year term, we will all get to witness the end of the United States of America, together.

Sure, on our dime! Just like GM still owes US over $80 billion and Obama allows them to build a plant in communist China....before GM pays back what they owe the taxpayers. Obama must go. Wouldn't it just be cheaper to write a check for $250,000 to every tax payer in the country? That would stimulate the economy like crazy.
OMG, American Industry is really in trouble! Just look at what happened last time. Incalculable damage to industry, people's lives, our country....not to mention the National Debt. Let's hope and pray that the "dip stick" doesn't do any more bail-outs to help us out cause, dat ain't his real motive here.

What you did is only slightly different than what Bain Capital does.
You just stole from bondholders relieving all debt and gave it to the unions. You laid off people, injected money, restructured, and it is far from thriving being at only 60% of your "break even" stock price. And lets not get into GMAC. Bankruptcy and venture capital would have come along and the company would be striving with 0 tax payer dollars.
Let's not forget the Soviet Union. The state owned everything and as a result they were all poor, standing in bread lines living in crumbling buildings with no worker motivation. Is this what Americans really want? This guy is so obvious its astounding.

Obama bailed out GM and allowed them to close down Pontiac, Buick, Saturn and Hummer and by extension, closing down hundreds of tier one suppliers. He's a hero.

He would fundamentally transform the country - we've been watching it happen.
Electricity costs would necessarily sky rocket - cut off oil drilling and shutting down coal
Redistribution of wealth - increase welfare roles and raise taxes on the rich
He would stand with the unions - loaded the NLRB with union attorneys
He would stand by "his people" - just look at the DOJ
He would stand with the muslims - geez, where do I begin on that one.....
If he couldn't get his way with congress, he would go it alone - issued unconstitutional EO's

David Limbaugh nailed it when he wrote his last book "The Great Destroyer", Barack Obama's war on the republic.

If Obama has his way he will bring America to bankruptcy and the next day issue martial law and raise taxes on the rich to 75%, just like our Socialist friends in France. I find the Chevy Volt story amazing vis-a-vi the Chevy EV1. Listening to the documentary "Who killed the Electric Car" on the distribution and collection and shredding of all the EV1s, it makes you wonder what the f is up?? The folks who made the video were obviously EV1 fanatics, but
why was distribution limited? (You had to submit a resume to lease the car!)
Why were they only leased?
Why did they collect them all and shred them? (and not let lessees buy them for whatever.)
Why is the Volt such a piece of crap?
