To think John Kerry, the guy who's insulted our troops and lied about his own war record, would get a pass from the Senate is beyond disturbing.
McCain, Graham, possibly even gun control queen Feinstein wouldn't have voted for Susan Rice. They will very likely vote for Kerry.
Dude, earth to McCain? Kerry insulted people like you before Congress! As someone who got tortured by the Vietcong, are you bothered at all that he lied about his own war service?
XVI Amendment, United States Constitution, Section 3:
"No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."
I think this should be seriously looked at, considering Kerry's anti-American activities, during the Vietnam War, and his cavorting with AVOWED enemies of America, such as the hated Hanoi Jane.
O/T:All I have to add today is that we need to get armed guards to protect public schools and other public places before the muslims out-number the other violent, uncivilized morons inhabiting this continent.
The more armed Americans, showing their faces and their CC bulges on the street, the better. We are not afraid to defend ourselves against all enemies, foreign or domestic. At yesterday’s nomination of Senator John Kerry as the United States’ next Secretary of State, Obama made the ridiculous statement that he’d made the US “safer, stronger and more respected in the world.”
How any American could possibly believe this crazy talk is beyond me.
Anyone who spends more than a minute or two each day reviewing the news can see that Obama’s entire Middle East policy has completely unraveled, leaving the world deeply destabilized.
Obama thinks things are safer? How about Iran’s ever-advancing nuclear program, with its weapons manufacturing now buried so deep underground that it’s immune from our bombs. Iran has been so emboldened by Obama that, according to Hillary Clinton, the Persians are now spreading terrorism to our next door neighbor, Mexico, and creating new alliances with drug cartels.

If I were the Leader of a foreign country right now, I would have the same opinion of The United States, as Israel's leader, Benjamin Netanyahu, a man I respect immensely.

Obama failed in everything he tried to do in his first term. Idiot.

Hanoi John Kerry always was going to be the nominee. Rice was never nominated, only proposed. You have to understand how the Obama 'machine' works.
They sent Rice out to spread the diversion about what had really happened in Benghazi before the election and threw her name in for possible Sec. of State to keep the 'media' going on this until after the election.
Now that he's still the President and he still has the Senate, he can slide Hanoi John in, without having to put up with all the criticisms of Kerry making much difference.
These people are no fools. They have been playing us like fiddle for years. Until you're willing to accept the fact everything they say has something just the opposite behind it, they still will.
Here's another little tid bit. The machine will 'suggest' that Hillary resign (due to ill health) and slide Hanoi John in before she ever testifies before Congress. And yes, they can do just exactly that. As a private citizen, there are questions she does not have to answer. ;-) ;-)
I could be wrong..... but when it comes to the antics of this administration, I haven't often been.
A Little off topic here but Odildo says fiscal cliff not avoidable in ten days. First of all if there were a fiscal cliff we fell over it the minuet we exceeded 12 trillion as that is just the surface. Our actual debt is a whopping 88.6 trillion. Secondly I have said it before and will again. Odildo needs to be in iron's in Leavenworth awaiting the hangman's noose for acts of high treason, acts against the American and world peoples, crimes against America. Like selling guns to known terroristic Nations and or dangerously violent factions such as known drug/ killing cartels. Not one thing has he or his chi-thug cronies have done something for the U.S in any fashion. Now the latest is holding the country for ransom so he, in the presumed end, can look not only like the hero but the victor as well. This son of a Kenyan communist dog has proven his insanity and is not fit for any public office. If anyone else had done the bull mess this punk has done. They would have already been executed by the hangman or worse.
The one good thing out of this is that we get Kerry out of Massachusetts. I just hope we can pull a surprise and not send another version of Senator Pocohontas to replace him.

The military absolutely HATES Kerry. Not that it seems to make any difference... the last SoS allowed Americans to die, so... Count on Obama to put despots and bootlickers in positions of power all around him so he can manipulate their actions and words. No surprise here - pick the worst candidates for this position and John Kerry would be in the Top 10.

With Lurch as SoS, I feel sooo much better. Incompetency promotes incompetency, Rush is right, to succeed on the left is to Fail and I am quite surprised that the failure of UN ambassador did not rightly promote her to the office. For when did Obama care what R's said about anything.
If success on the left is to fail then when does the left consider themselves to have failed? When they can't stick the blame on someone else.
