President Obama: “Here’s what I’ll say. If four Americans get killed, it’s not optimal. We’re going to fix it. All of it. And what happens, during the course of a presidency, is that the government is a big operation and any given time something screws up. And you make sure that you find out what’s broken and you fix it. Whatever else I have done throughout the course of my presidency the one thing that I’ve been absolutely clear about is that America’s security comes, and the American people need to know exactly how I make decisions when it comes to war, peace, security, and protecting Americans. And they will continue to get that over the next four years of my presidency.”
Can someone answer this for me?
If a US President loses an election and is defeated, can he go to another country and run for leader or president there? Serious question.

Not as bad as "bumps in the road" since the "optimal" was a response to the word being used in the question from Stewart. Still a dumb and insensitive mistake by the President and especially callous towards the family of the four Americans.

This is as bad as the Dems and their "binder" BS. He was not saying that the deaths "were not optimal". There are endless quotes that can be used to show this man's utter incompetence and narcissism, this isn't one of them. Conservatives look as bad as libs when we stoop to this garbage.
Really, his answer didn't make sense. He was asked about the response to the terrorist attack being optimal. Obama was not talking about the security being optimal, he was talking about his response to it and how everyone was on different pages. But how does 4 dead Americans make his resonse not acceptable with the inference that normally the response would have been ok. Basically he's saying that because 4 Americans are dead the response should have been more unified. So, what if 4 Americans didn't die? The lies and different stories would have been ok?
That said, he lied to deceive us, so this cover-up story of not being on the same page with intelligence is a bunch of malarkey.
May I suggest, Mr President, that your policies which lead to the murders in Benghazi, are "not optimal".
In fact, your whole term in office hasn't been 'optimal', it hasn't even been sub-optimal.

I went over to twitchy and there are some amazing tweets under this heading about not optimal.
It was like a long list highlighting all of Obamas failures. I am not exactly sure how the whole twitter universe works but if those were circulating all day, thats pretty good.

mr o would serve himself better by staying off the air, out of the oval orifice and out on the golf course where the stink than emanates from him will dissipate and the polution he produces when he gets in front of a camera would not pollute our pristine atmosphere. a man of more character would not have run for a second term and would have probably resigned after a couple of years due to his record of failure. if he were in the corporate world he would not have had a choice of continued employment.

I would say Baryuk of all people should know that while 9/11 is a solemn day for americans, by contrast it is a celebratory date for the Muslims and a pivot point for making a defiant statement. If he really gave more of a damn about the welfare of Americans, he would have beefed up security for the embassies throughout the middle East on the eve of 9/11. But because his prime allegiance is to Islam, he is protective of every evil connotation or action attributed to the muslims. If the democrat elements of congress were true patriots, they would have thrown this impostor out long before his removal on Nov. 6th. A commentater, who's name I don't recall, summed up Obama perfectly after this last debate: " Obama is a con-artist " !!!

And what seems to get lost in all of this is that we suffered our worst terrorist attack on the anniversary of 9/11. Oh, and who was president during that attack? That's right, Obama. Remember that come election day.
