He's ignored North Korea, allowing them to work with others (like Iran) to create rocketry that can strike Hawaii and the North West, and the Left Coast. He's ignored Iran, giving them time to perfect their nuclear weaponry, and get into position to literally destroy the United States with their ADVERTISED EMP attack on us. He's treated Middle East tensions like a fire and forget weapon, and now the Middle East has become more dangerous and deadly, than ever, as well as giving them a literal stranglehold on American energy policy. He's ignored Russia, and now the Soviets are looking to not only, apparently, revive their missle bases in Cuba, but to create installations in Venezuela (along with the IRANIANS). He's ignored Venezuela, allowing them to get deeply into the process of working with Iranians and Soviets to create naval bases and long-range missile bases, capable of striking CONUS. He illegally attacked Libya, while trying to hide behind NATO, and succeeded in giving al-Qaeda their first state toward the creation of their calliphate.

They didn't 'hijack' the revolution. The name of the game from the start was to replace an Autocratic Islamic Dictator with a Theocratic Islamic Dictator, just like they did with the Shah of Iran and will probably do in Iraq, now that Saddam Hussein is gone.

I'm stating a simple fact. There are 2 forms of government under Islam.
1. An Autocratic Islamic State. 2. A Theocratic Islamic State. Both of them are Dictatorships.
Under an Autocratic Islamic State, the country is run my a strong man (usually Sunni Muslim), that calls all the shots and eliminates anybody who opposes his power, including Shia Muslims (Iraq under Saddam Hussein, who was a Sunni, by the way).
Under a Theocratic Islamic State, the country is run by the Shia Mullahs (with a puppet President) that eliminates anybody that opposes their power (Iran).
Iraq, Syria, Tunisia, Egypt, were Autocratic Islamic States. "The Arab Spring" removed (or are in the process of removing) the strong man Dictators. In virtually every case, 'The (Shia) 'Muslim Brotherhood' will come to power.
There is no such thing as an Islamic 'Democracy'. The words are mutually exclusive. The words 'Freedom od Religion' will never appear in an Islamic Constitution, whereas, 'Freedom of Relegion' is a vital part of a Democracy, among other things, like equality of women, for instance.
Get it now? ;-)

Um, if this is true, you can forget about the Christians. That's small potatoes considering what's about to happen in the next few days. Things are going to start falling apart real, real, fast if this report is true and I'm not really sure how it's going to play out. You may see American boots on the ground trying to secure Assad's chemical weapons, and we certainly don't know how Iran or Russia will react to that. This could spiral out of control real fast, with Assad (thinking "use it or lose it") firing off all the chemical weapons he has. We need to watch this carefully over the next few days. We could be heading into yet another Middle Eastern war by the end of this year.
Of course Christian religious freedoms will be gone.

I'm almost willing to just divide the country into two. We'll take the military since they despise it. Let them have unchecked power over their own states and let them destroy them. One condition....we are not to help them. Let them collapse.
Not if we agree to become two separate sovereign nations. They would have no access to our treasury or authority over our laws and policies. I don't think they'd agree to that because they know they are leeches off the success of others and would collapse without the providers.
I think what eventually might happen is that states will start seceding from the nation. I'm hoping for that now unless we can get a handle on runaway liberal power. We can't save the liberal states and they will drag the rest of us down with them. Successful states will be forcefully drained to prop up states like California.
The only 'problem' with that is, that in order to keep themselves from collapsing, they have to collapse you.
