The arrogance of power at work. From the man who can’t stop campaigning.

It’s clear Obama doesn’t care how much he humiliates McCain over his victory, over a year later, on live TV, and in front of all of America. People generally talk about bad sportsmanship on the loosing side, not the winning side.

With all the problems I have with John McCain, this was beyond the pale. No need to disrespect McCain. Obama's ego is too big for that room.

I love how politics works over there in America. The left say this clip shows McCain negatively and the right say this clip shows Obama negatively.

Up to half of the country agrees with the former statement, up to half agrees with the later. There can be no outcome other than partisanship.

Are you kidding me? Obama has never stopped campaigning!

  • http://www.therightscoop.com/ therightscoop

    Completely beyond the pale.

I'm sure Obama's news networks won't mention this very much. They don't want to make the same mistake they did when Obama said the white cop acted stupidly…you know, the mistake of distracting the American public from what the real topic was. No, they'll fall in line this time.

  • http://www.therightscoop.com/ therightscoop

Mark, arrogance is arrogance. There was a much better way to handle that than to rub in it McCain's face that he lost. Saying that, how is that being partisan? Do you not agree that it was arrogant?

  • http://twitter.com/MarkCooper Mark Cooper

Yeah it was arrogant and rude. Thats not my point though. My point is, half the country disagrees with the other half of the country and no side is going to change their mind over this subject.

A republican isn't suddenly change their mind and agree with the democrats and vice-versa. This is just a pointless piece of theater.

Every single politician in that room will leave that room with the same opinion of the bill that they had before they entered the room.

  • http://twitter.com/MarkCooper Mark Cooper

As we speak, the bloggers on the left and on twitter and stuff are praising the theatrics and histrionics of the politicians in the room supporting the bill.

As we speak, the bloggers on the right and on twitter and stuff are praising the theatrics and histrionics of the politicians in the room opposing the bill.

It's all a load of old bollocks really.

It's kabuki theater. We knew that before it started.

YES IT WAS ARROGANT AND DISRESPECTFULL FOR OBOMA TO TALK DOWN MCCAIN THE WAY HE DID BUT AT THE SAME TIME MCCAIN SHOULD HAVE STOOD HIS GROUND AND STATED THE OVIOUS THAT THERE WILL BE NO BYPARTISAN UNTIL THIS ILLEGAL 2500 PAGE LEGISTLATION GETS DUMPED. WE ALL KNOW OBAMA IS STILL CAMPANING AND WILL PUSH THIS THROUGH NO MATTER WHAT AND EVERYONE GETS SCREWED IN THE MEAN TIME. TO BE FAIR, BYPARTISAN IS THE ONLY WAY. FIND WAYS TO CUT THE BUDGET, CUT SMALL BUSINESS AND MIDDLE CLASS TAXES AND THAT IS THE WAY OUR FOUNDING FATHERS WOULD HAVE WANTED IT. IT NEVER WORKS ONE SIDED. ITS NOT HALF AND HALF. ITS MORE LIKE 80% + OF THE COUTRY WANTS THE EXISTING BILL DUMPED. IT OBOMAS WAY OR THE HIGHWAY NO MATTER HOW YOU LOOK AT IT. TODAY IS HUGE WASTE OF TIME.

  • Tyler

Yep yep. It's pretty much the same thing with EVERYTHING Obama does. Says on the campaign trail that he only ever did one case 13 years ago with ACORN and then now we find a tape from around the same timeframe with him interviewing ACORN saying “You don't have to call me for input…I'll call you.”

His ACTIONS are speaking, but just NOT QUITE AS LOUDLY as his words…and they SHOULD speak LOUDER. That's one of the biggest problems with why the liberals REFUSE to believe that this “great messiah” they voted for is lying to them every step of the way and will not back down from the unions' interests.

  • Tyler

I'll even tell you about this doublethink that liberals does. One of my professors is a hardcore liberal and I explained to her 16 different times in his SOTU address where he lied which our good buddy Scoop has a video of posted on this site as well. She said “Well, who's to say he lied as much as he just couldn't quite do what he had said due to circumstances?”

With the unemployment rates…I can see the “We didn't realize how bad it was” rule. With the troops in Iraq, I can see “Well, turns out I can't.”

But…APPOINTING ERIC HOLDER and a NUMBER OF OTHER LOBBYISTS…USING SIGNING STATEMENTS? EXPLAIN THAT one away.

She said “This argument isn't going anywhere,” and walked off. BEST way to ANNOY A LIBERAL…use FACTS and LOGIC. Haha.

  • Tyler

“We can argue about process or we can argue about how to actually help the American people.”

Is it just me or does THAT ALSO sound like some doublethink? The PROCESS IS how you do things. You guys are in this “process” RIGHT NOW. Good GOD, it's ABSURD to hear these people PERVERT THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE like this.

  • SgPoyzer

Obama has never stopped campaigning, so what's he talking about?

  • Anthonysmith

    The Smugster in Chief.

  • MSkiles27

D@mn McCain! – This is one of the reasons he lost! McCain needs to learn to stand his ground with these far left nut jobs. He needs to learn to crush them whenever they say stuff like that and put them right back in their place.

Just weak … I only hope we get a stronger Republican candidate for the 2012 elections.

  • Tyler

Personally, we see PLENTY of STRONGER R candidates. My opinion is that McCain was PURPOSELY chosen by the elites so that Obama would have the presidency.

  • Idrive99

McCain is an asshole all day every day.
