Obama: TSA is using most effective screening techniques

Ok, we’ve got more ‘experts’ informing our decisions on how to prevent terrorists on airplanes. Pardon me if I don’t trust Obama’s experts, considering the other experts he consulted that lead to our almost 10% unemployment and Obamacare. But listen to what Obama says here (emphasis mine):

At this point, TSA in consultation with our counter-terrorism experts, have indicated to me that the procedures that they’ve been putting in place are the only ones right now that they consider to be effective against the kind of threat that we saw in the Christmas day bombing.

So it’s clear that they’ve weeded out some other options that they feel are less effective. Let’s see what those options are (h/t cubachi):

Ok, so we don’t profile. But do they understand profiling? It’s like they think this only means one thing – your race. But that’s not how Israel profiles. They do it based on behavior and intelligence. I would imagine race can be a factor, but certainly not the only factor. They won’t just walk up to you if you look Arabic and interview you. In fact, according to the former Security Chief of El Al Airlines, they have your name on a list before you even get to the airport. They’ve analyzed their intelligence on you and if something about you is suspicious, they put you on a separate list and are waiting for you when you get to the airport. It’s very comprehensive:

This administration, just like in the case of Arizona, is not looking objectively at the facts but rather are biased against certain methods that they feel aren’t politically correct. This administration would rather subject everyone to highly invasive techniques rather than solely look for the terrorists and stop them.

I’m very glad I’m not traveling this week wish the best for those of you who are.
