Obamacare now making vet visits cost more

Obama probably hates cats too. So seeing as my Mrs. and I are Both Vets and we have 2 cats, we're probably pretty high on his hate list. Which is just fine with me because the feeling is mutual. ;-)

This will not help the shelters because not as many will be taking the pets and that's a shame.

PS. My brother just told me he read health insurance costs will be going up next year 20% to 100%.

So our pets and animals in general will suffer. Fewer visits to the vet because of increased prices and more strays possible because many heartless people will simply release pets in the wild or won't adopt. I know folks like this...

Every day... every single day with this monster is in office is going to hurt America more and more.

Would someone please read through the 20,000 pages of the ACA, they must have included an exemption for animals some where. Remember they excluded Botox.

I thought vet care was already very expensive, now this? Great. I'm not sure how to break that news to my dog and cats..."Remember when I told things were going to get bad under obama and his fake healthcare bill. Well let me tell you how bad it has gotten...."

We already pay taxes here in Washington state on medicines for our animals. In September I had to have my old stallion put down. I paid tax on the drugs used to euthanize him.

Notice Franklin never said The Constitution was permanent or certain. Only death and taxes.

Wow...when you have family pets and shelter animals suffering under Obama, you know things are deep in the crapper.

It's like we are all being sucked into Obama's massive sinkhole...good grief.

If I were a dog, I'd lift my leg on that whole mess called Obamacare.

In the old, old, days, when somebody said to you, "The rabbit died," it meant that a woman was pregnant. Now if your rabbit dies, it's because Obama killed it.

Makes me kind of angry to think that what I once did as a young man like a rabbit is now being done to me on a regular basis by Obama.

wildly OT: A new Pope has been elected, at 7.10 p.m. local time in a rainy Rome.

This was not an unintended consequence at all. Members of Congress knew about it and decided people like the woman interviewed will cut back somewhere else and pay the tax. I feel bad for the animals in shelters that are already not getting adopted because of the economy and now won't be because vet care just went up again.

What's missing is the added costs of the health insurance premiums vets are paying for themselves and their staff that are also being passed along to the end consumer, another slap because of ObamaCare.

I'll be reminding my vet who supported Obama in 2008 and 2012 of the election consequences to his business! Also, that I will be visiting only when necessary, no more regular check-ups, need to preserve the extra $$$ for my own medical insurance.
