Alternate headline: One in five blacks now openly racist!

How bad does Obama have to screw up the country to really lose this demographic?

(CNSNews.com) – President Barack Obama’s job approval tied its all-time low among black Americans last week, according to the Gallup poll.

When asked by Gallup in the week of Aug. 8-14 whether they approved of the way Obama was handling his job as president, a record-low 81 percent of blacks surveyed said that they did. Back in the week of Feb. 28-March 6, Obama’s approval among blacks also dropped to as low as 81 percent.

After that, Obama’s approval among black Americans had rebounded to as high as 91 percent in Gallup polling conducted the week of May 9-15 of this year.

As recently as the week of Jan. 10-16, Obama’s approval among blacks was at 94 percent in the Gallup poll.

President Obama’s highest ever weekly job approval among black Americans in Gallup polling was 96 percent, a level it reached in five different weeks of 2009, the last of which was the week of Aug. 3-9, 2009.

As more and more of our population realize the path our leaders have us on is not the right one, our louder voices will be heard to get us on the right path. Republicans and Democrats will have to hear us sooner rather than later.

Every last one of you kookey bookeys (pronounced with a long o sound as in stoop or poop) know that all I did was listen to my wife, who said, “hey this is funny”, and then say, give it here! I was already on my way in there because I heard her burst out laughing. Nothing is quite so beautiful, as that gal laughing. I get to see it a LOT!

Anyway, you guys are great. We have assembled, by Adam Smith’s invisible hand I guess, a group of people who (thinks Keynes is an idiot), respect one another, “like” one another, (please click as much as possible. I’ve got number problems) and who have formed this little alliance.

      Great article!

“Years from now, historians may regard the 2008 election of Barack Obama as an inscrutable and disturbing phenomenon, a baffling breed of mass hysteria akin perhaps to the witch craze of the Middle Ages. How, they will wonder, did a man so devoid of professional accomplishment beguile so many into thinking he could manage the world’s largest economy, direct the world’s most powerful military, execute the world’s most consequential job?”

      That’s brutal…..I LIKE it!

For one thing, they showed up and voted. For another, Michelle Bachmann, at least, voted conservative – i.e. wisely – always or nearly always. Another point – they aren’t blaming everyone else for their incompetence. (Because they’re not incompetent.) They aren’t taking constant taxpayer-funded vacations. They don’t apologize for America or bow to the enemies of America …. had enough yet?

So since when is voting a qualification to be POTUS? Or, not blaming someone else for your actions? Or not apologizing for USA? What have either of them actually accomplished. You can be a fighter all you want, but if you don’t know how to fight and win, what good are you? So far, MB has promised to repeal Obamacare in 90 days, give us $2 gas, and next will it be a chicken in every pot? No explanation as to how she will accomplish any of these. I am sorry, but as long as people continue to vote for someone based on what they say and how they look, we will never have any kind of significant change in this country.

            • Anonymous

You replied to badbadlibs’ quote from the linked American Thinker article (“a man so devoid of professional accomplishment”) by saying that you could say the same thing about Bachmann or Paul Ryan. Wrong. They were there voting Yea or Nay, not “present” like obama did. Bachmann at least had other responsibilities than her political ones, which she fulfilled well. You could NOT say the same thing about them as about obama – they did their jobs.

As for fighting and not winning, watch what happens to obama in 2012. The only way The Ultimate Loser can win is massive election fraud, and he knows it.

Would you rather a POTUS candidate NOT promise to repel obamacare? Or promise NOT TO? She’s not able to now, but as president she (or any determined, willing, halfway intelligent person) can undo a lot of the harm obama has done.

How? The same way Reagan got his tax cuts through: show the voters a way to get what they want. Be a leader for liberty and free markets instead of a socialist tyrant. I’m old enough to remember a rueful Tip O’Neill saying that Congress had never had so many phone calls as they did when Reagan turned to the citizens to get his tax cuts passed. Present a bill to the people, show them what it will do, and tell them to jam the switchboards (and now email-boxes) if they want it passed.

This is the exact, polar, diametric, one-hundred-eighty-degree opposite of what obama has been doing for nearly three years. obama and congress listen to us like a cat listens to a mouse, because he and his co-rulers (I use that word purposely) are devout socialists.

With a leader who is a devout American, who loves liberty and believes in free markets, the tide can turn in just a few weeks. Listening to what the people want and showing them how to accomplish it can make the difference.

        • Persephone

I am assuming that you are referring to Bachman & Ryan’s lack of executive experience?

If so, on that I would agree.
While either one of them would be vastly better than Barry, IMO.
They both have pretty darn good records in the House.
But I am hoping for someone with executive experience, which neither one of them have had.

Legislating is quite different than governing.
Doesn’t mean they are incapable…just means that haven’t had any experience with it for us to see how they would do at it.

          • puma_for_life

Please inform me of the damn good record…you mean showing up to vote?

Detective, I’m a little unhappy with and puzzled by parts of that article:

“Holding someone to a separate standard merely because of the color of his skin — that’s affirmative action in a nutshell, and if that isn’t racism, then nothing is. And that is what America did to Obama…What could this breed if not the sort of empty narcissism on display every time Obama speaks?

…In 2008, many who agreed that he lacked executive qualifications nonetheless raved about Obama’s oratory skills, intellect, and cool character. Those people — conservatives included — ought now to be deeply embarrassed.…But hey, at least we got to feel good about ourselves for a little while. And really, isn’t that all that matters these days?”

The author seems to be saying that it’s really not obama’s fault. Once again, it’s white Americans’ fault – “conservatives included”, oh? really? – and we did it all so we could “feel good about ourselves”.

Maybe I’ve become hypersensitive concerning blame I didn’t earn. Blaming “society” (i.e. white Americans) for everything has been going on at least since Vietnam. I doubt if any genuine conservatives voted for obama or ignored his lack of experience – or background, as badbadlibs points out below. The Tea Party surge was largely if not exclusively fueled by conservative fears about obama. we screamed our lungs out ni warnings, emailed and telephoned, faxed our representatives, but guess what, almost no one in power listened.

When does obama get to be a man? When does he get to take responsibility for his own self-evaluation? Why wasn’t he willing to accept that he wasn’t qualified? It’s HIS fault and the fault of RINOs and democrats and academicians and assorted other race-panderers. They offered him the beautiful lie and he chose to worship his own ego and accept the lie.

This is distinctly NOT the fault of conservatives or of white society at large.

      • Anonymous

Sadly I know Conservatives that pulled the BHO lever on 2008. When they whine, my only answer is, “well you voted for him” and the information was out there but you just ignored it because it was all Bush’s fault.

Since 1983, the percentage of union members relative to the whole has been cut approximately in half.

What we are seeing are the last dying screams of a parasitic banshee. It’s like Linda Blair on steroids.

    • Persephone

I keep seeing that statistic too, Rshill.
Does that percentage include the number of government union members?

Because that number has been growing.

As the private sector unions have driven jobs away to other countries….
The cockroaches have scurried over to govt jobs.
They have discovered the real gravy train there.
And they get to influence the elections to ensure that the ones who are supposed to be negotiating with them one our behalf…are on their side!

Which is why there should be no govt unions…at all!

      • Anonymous

The numbers I saw that stuck in my head didn’t seem to differentiate between the two. If you find the answer to that, I’d like to see it.

Cockroaches are certainly a good analogy…rats on a sinking ship is also.
Private enterprise and government were “like two ships that pass in the night”.
The rats jumped off of one and on to another. It’s just as disgusting as it sounds.

Roosevelt himself seemed to be adamant that Unions NOT be part of the government, or at least, that they not be allowed to strike. You’ve no doubt seen the quote.

I read that JFK gave federal employees the right to collectively bargain.

As bargains go, it were a bad one.

P.S. Unions permeating government conjurs up “We The Living” for me.

I must start by saying that I realize that Dan’s statement “One in five blacks now openly racist!” was made tongue-in-cheek. And it is funny. Now that we have that clear:

Among what other ethnic group does obama have such a HIGH approval rating? It’s the 81% who are openly racist.

Well it’s not an ‘ethnic’ group, per se…

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 19% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -23

    http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll

Overall, 43% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president’s performance. Fifty-four percent (54%) at least somewhat disapprove.

Just 15% now believe the country is generally heading in the right direction. That’s down 10 points from a month ago and 20 points from a year ago.

It appears that Obama needs to kill Osama Bin Laen again. That’s the only thing that brought up his ratings before.

I think the Felonious Munk video may have had something to do with it.
We need more Black celebrities to come out and criticize the bone-head we have in the White House.

Many Blacks support the president only because everyone around them does. Right now, if a Black person speaks out against the moron in the white house (sorry, just trying to avoid using his repulsive Arabic name), he would be shunned by their Black friends. If they’d see other Blacks speaking their mind, they might feel less inclined to suppress their opinions for what is popular in the Black community.

Most of the American electorate, Black and White, do not think for themselves and are simply ‘followers’. That’s why public opinion is shaped so much by what celebrities say, but I think this is even more true in the Black community. Call me a racist, but I think it is true.

  • Anonymous

I could never understand this. I don’t like all white people, nor would I vote for all white people, yet it seems as though most blacks will vote for someone just because he’s black. Do they think he will automatically be good to them, just because of his skin color? I think you could tell them, he’s a sociopath, and they will still vote for him. I just can’t figure that out.
