Occupy Portland: “It’s true, we don’t know exactly what we’re doing”

Yesterday while all eyes were on Occupy Portland and their standoff with police decked out in riot gear, I caught this on the livestream of a protester talking to KOIN Local 6 news. The protester tells the reporter that he’s not out there because he wants to be, that it’s a burden to be out there, but he is out there because he wants bring attention to a problem. Then he says this:

“It’s true, we don’t know exactly what we’re doing, but we’re here to figure it out”

Hasn’t this been the message from the beginning? You’d think after a few months of protesting they would have come to some consensus on what they want.

Gotta love unbridled idealism.
