God bless and please continue to protect Israel as they battle the terrorists in the Middle East!

Well, I'm glad it worked. They are going to need it, and soon. After Iran gets its nuclear bomb or missile, everything is going to go downhill fast in that part of the world. Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon will start firing tons of missiles into Israel, so Israel had better be prepared for that. The only question is, are we? With Obama in the White House, not a chance.

I have post election male menopause. Insulting liberals and RINOS has taken a back seat watching paint dry. I would cut my wrist but I'm to depressed to find energy to sharpen a knife. Eating at the garbage McDonalds serves sounds like a good idea and I'm hoping my gutters will clean themselves.

My prayers are always that Israel can create its' own defense mechanisms, so that it does not have to rely upon a wishy washy US. (I meant to say us, sorry for the caps). Rebuild the Temple!!!

US Debt Actually 87 Trillion Dollars.

From Chris Cox former chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, and Bill Archer former chairman of the House Ways & Means Committee.

“the actual liabilities of the federal government — including Social Security, Medicare, and federal employees' future retirement benefits — already exceed $86.8 trillion, or 550 percent of GDP,” Cox and Archer write.

“Were American policy makers to have the benefit of transparent financial statements prepared the way public companies must report their pension liabilities, they would see clearly the magnitude of the future borrowing that these liabilities imply. Borrowing on this scale could . . . bankrupt the entire federal government.”

Bet the Israelis also keep a plane in the air every hour with a payload of one missile keyed with the GPS of Mecca and another with the GPS of the capital of Iran on the ready.

If they don't, they should.

And that's why I think Netanyahu knew exactly what he was doing when he agreed to the ceasefire!

He wants these radars and this David's Sling installed a.s.a.p., without interruption by Hamas rockets. He want to prepare Israel's defense as best and as comprehensible as possible.

And I bet you the Israelis are working flat out on more projects like these - which will only be revealed when they are 100% successful, not before.

If there is one politician who knows exactly what he's doing, who knows exactly what he needs to do to protect his country against all enemies, then it is Bibi. Hr can play the political game like no other, and he can make Hillary and Obama look like fools without even trying. They now own the ceasefire, they and Morsi.

I pray he wins in the January elections.

I thought there was a cease-fire.....or was this only a test?

Nukeman60

Rules of Engagement, btw: Cease-fire means that Israel cannot attack it's enemies while it's enemies are still free to fire away. Pretty much the way it works. :(

NYGino

Also give their enemies time to reload, rearm and re-man, knowing that any Israeli actions against these "allegations" would be looked upon as Israel aggressively ignoring the cease fire.

Just a test... although I'm sure the odd rocket is still flying in from gaza.

That was awesome!! Next step is to instead of destroying the incoming missile turn it back to were it came from, that would add loads to the deterrent factor !!!

Lets again thank G-D for blessing them with the knowledge to build these weapons.

That was cool. I wonder if they can take a nuke out with that? They're probably gonna need something that can. I also wonder if Iran and the rest of the terrorstinians think they could move right into Jerusalem right after they nuke it. If Iran nuked it what good would it be to anyone?

The system is designed to intercept cruise missiles, which can also carry nuclear warheads. Also Scuds and heavy rockets, also aircraft even drones. basically it can hit anything that moves.

How about someone carrying a sign saying "Death to America/Israel," think it could hit that?

We can always try!

To them having the land irradiated is preferable, but I don't think that is their true goal. They need a global war so that their messiah will come out from the well he's been hiding in and destroy all infidels and turn the world into one big caliphate...or something to that effect.

Sooo, am I mistaken or is this a more technically advanced Patriot missile?

sDee

It is mid-range anti missile system developed by Rafael Defense Systems (Israel) and Raytheon (US). Also known as Magic Wand.

The Iron Dome deals with short range missiles. The Arrow, developed by (Israel Aerospace Industries and Boeing), and the Patriot (Raytheon), for long range missiles the Scud and Iran's Shihab.

David's Sling can intercept ground based and air based threats, including missiles and aircraft.

I don't think the Iranians and the rest of the terrorstinians (love that word!) don't think that far. They show how mad they are by even contemplating nuking Jerusalem, the third holiest city for all muslims.

Nice! So, am I to understand that in order to force Netanyahu into agreeing to a phony cease fire, Obama might have threatened to cut off the supply of equipment necessary to keep such defense systems running and thus endanger the innocent Israeli citizens?

colliemum
colliemum

That's what Obama would like us all to think, to make himself look big and strong.

On the other hand, perhaps Netanyahu told Hilary he'd give them access to their newly developed technique if they guaranteed a ceasefire he could live with?

The film made me think of skeet shooting, on a much larger scale though. Sight the pigeon, then smash to smithereens. Dust off the hands, then repeat. The sling is working, good!

Excellent!

I was in South Korea several years ago and used to ride my bike past several Patriot Missile batteries that were pointing to the north. What an amazing thing to have missiles able to hit missiles. When I was in Desert Storm - Saudi Arabia, I was thankful that we had them as we were alerted to incoming SCUDs.

I can't imagine the terror those poor Israeli's have to endure, day in and day out. We were attacked three times and waking up to the sound of the alarms and scrambling for the bunker, it was freaky to say the least.

Pray for Israel.
