When Obama first came into view in 2007, an absolute nobody, I wanted to know who he was, what achievements he had under his belt, what he had to offer us if he was to become our President.

I have to tell you that you need to get back to work and read your history and also look back on what was really going on in your country and how it was left to your elected President Obama, and to also have to fight the other party and congress who held him back. You are correct concerning this, but the 14th Ammendment setup the US as a Corporation with the states as it's subsidiary, and the citizens as it's property, but without the Federal Reserve Act there would not have been enough funding for this.

Our culture has changed since 1950. Whether or not it was the Communists is one thing but our society certainly has changed along the lines that were set up in the 1950s by the Communist party. Fact. Critical thinking and intelligence require investigation and an open mind before dismissing every part of it out of hand.
At this point I don't know what the answer is. I pray for our country every day. I pray for God to give wisdom to our leaders. You can see in the news that things are out of balance. I know everyone in my family is important to me. Even the ones that have passed on. Family is everything and without it you have nothing. I can see that the family structure has been in jeapordy for years. And as far as free speach is concerned, isn't that for everyone? Not to shut some up because they disagree with you? Why does everyone want to shut up the Christians? Everyone wants to smear their beliefs in our face but we're not allowed to say what our beliefs are? Of ourse we will fight for our beliefs. Everyone else does. And as far as some people talking about Christians being so hateful, well you think your not? And as far as that goes ALL Christians are NOT hateful. Satan will do ANYTHING to upset the world and take it for himself. If you don't believe Satan is alive and well on planet earth then you have your head stuck in the sand. Only one person on earth was perfet and that was Christ. He sacrificed himself on the cross to cover our sins and all we have to do is accept it. It's a gift. Christ did something for us that we could not do for ourselves. If our world falls apart, at least we have that. And if you didn't accept His gift, then that is your choice. God is not a respecter of persons. This gift is for all humanity. But we need to all be united and fight for the good things of our country. I believe we need to put ourselves aside and see what's best for everyone and fight for that. There will be some exceptions we be can deal with them. I don't write this to be hateful or accusing. Everyone is guilty. We get wrapped up in little things and the communists want us to do that so we don't recognize what they are doing to us.
While I agree there are many bad things going on, I have trouble thinking there is any one or any group or movement smart enough to orchestrate and coordinate this activity and to have the patience to see it mature over 50 years.

To love God is to keep his commandments by free-will choice not coercion or manipulation. In order for public opinion to remain moral an education from God's Word is needed. No man can be argued into believing truth. Believing the truth is a choice we make once it is presented with accuracy, clarity and love. If we choose not to believe truth there are always practical consequences which will come. If we take note of the fruit our lives produce listed in Galations 5 we can redirect our thoughts, words and actions to the things that produce peace naturally. God never forces mankind on any point, and indeed we should learn by our failures and mistakes the spiritual laws that govern all of life. When we choose God's ways by free-will the benefits and fruit are always evident which convinces us of what is right and wrong in life. When people choose to live with this kind of an attitude in life they will be very loving and tender in their approaches when they teach the accuracy of God's Word to others. Some will reject it and I love and respect them because they have free-will just like I do. But some will hear and believe. This is how the rise of morality in America can rise again and we can rebuild it. When the government mandates that truth not be spoken or taught in our country, that is true tyranny. Everyone else can have a viewpoint to teach in our culture, but when truth is taught and lies are logically exposed for what they are, the powers that be want to make laws discouraging it. Light makes manifest the darkness. It takes courage and integrity and stamina to continue to love, stand and teach during this dark time of our nations history. God has called His christian people to rise again in this way. Not puffed up with head knowledge, laws, mandates and all other negative guilt producing tactics. Christians must make the Word their own, live it by example (not hypocrites) and be ready to speak the truth at all times. The whole world can be changed by a few committed ones. Light always wins over darkness for it is more powerful. So what is ther to be afraid of?

Well alot of people still do not believe homosexuality is normal, even if they like them. Well the Communists have made headway here in the US, but are not completely successful in their own strongholds. Look at China and Russia now - both seriously engaging in Capitalism. I am not saying we should not be concerned about the progressive/socialist movement here in the US, but it seems to me that discussing major political world views sometimes overshadows dealing with the fiscal failures and solutions in our own communities.
I personally think that the big IN-OUR-FACE problem is that most federal programs & most state governments are chronically, fiscally out of control. In my view this turns into infringement on our economic liberties which is a big, big deal. I am not sure how this problem can be solved except through voting. That or changing gov't permanently so that city / county / state / federal admin agencies lose their jurisdictions and are forced to compete openly and serve multiple areas, thereby bringing cost reductions and innovation.

Les, Democracy was described by Ben Franklin as "Two Wolves and a Sheep voting on what to have for dinner", in other words it is where a group can get together and vote to take another individual's rights away, for any purpose. It is the first step into communism.
The first step into communism is building a republic or monarchy with a great rift between those who are wealthy and those who have to work for a living. Not really. Lincoln was a tyrant. He forced the South to stay in a union they didn't want to be a part of. Kind of like the IRS forces me to pay for things I shouldn't have to pay for. It didn't start in 1958. It started almost 100 years earlier. And I'm not from the South, so don't think I'm some Confederate...I just hate tyranny of all sorts.

Do you realize that John Wilkes Booth was a member of the Knights of The Golden Circle, and that the reason Lincoln was killed was because he was going to continue having the Government print our own money which would have been debt free currency, instead of borrowing it from the Rothschild Banking System? I would suggest you do your research into the true history concerning slavery, and the Civil War, and well as how it has brought us to where we are today. See my reply to mj, I not only have been re-learning my history, (I was taught history in the North), but I rely on very responsible and reliable historians and journalist that know and tell the truth, the truth is out there if you will be objective about it. Many people in the South had already freed their slaves, this included Robert E, Lee, Jefferson Davis, Stone Wall Jackson, just to name three, who were Southern Generals, who did not believe in slavery, but believed in the Constitution, and fighting to defend Southern Rights. It was not about slavery at all, slavery was made an issue to get northerners to join the military, because before that they weren't.
But don't you love our Republic more? The Civil War wasn't about tyranny. It was about preserving the Union. The South had no real, valid reason to secede. I agree about the IRS though. And the DHS. And the FBI. And the TSA. And the DEA. And the CIA. And, well, you get the picture.
If you will go and study the history surrounding the War of 1861, and the US Constitution, you will find that the South had every reason, and every right to secede. Look at the unballance of taxation, and who benefited from most of the taxes. Also, look at who needed the South to stay in the Union, and why.
Of course they had reason to succeed. They were going to be stopped from expanding slavery. Just like Republicans today, hateful basically due their desire for wage slavery of the poor.
There is so much we have been miss-taught about the Civil War, to start with there was nothing civil about it, The Bureaucrats in Washington were taxing the South to death, and not giving it proper representation, as well as using most of the tax money to benefit the Northern Industrialists. Lincoln's Washington DC was full of Communists and Fascists who wanted to take control of the United States and use it to police the rest of the world, and bring all of us under a One World Government. Along with these groups (The Young American Organization, the Turner Organization, and the Carbonari), the South took about all they could take, and finally used the Constitution against Washington. If the government had not lied to the people in the North, and made slavery an issue, the South would have become an independent nation, most people in the North thought the South had a right to secede and did not want a war. All states in the Union are actually supposed to be Sovereign States, and not governed by The US Government, but the US Government is supposed to be Governed by the states, and it was that way until the Civil War, and in 1868, the 14th Amendment.

You need to study true history, not the history written by someone trying to relieve their guilt for what they did to fellow Americans. I have studied much of the true history, and some of it was written by a New Englander. Don't go saying what I told was BS without doing your research, I was taught Yankee History also, but later in my life, I found there were history books that were written by true historians, who based their writtings on era letters, archived reports, and other documents. It was the International Banking Families and Northern Industrialists that were trying to split the US, England and France were ready to invade, but Russia was ready to help the US, and even posted troops off our coast incase we needed them. You had better do some research before you start rebuting.

We have all had good reason to be disillusioned with people who don't live what they profess. There is a quote I heard several years ago, I will quote at best.

This is true of all religions which claim what they do not truly adhere to in character and action. Much like the dill-pickle hanging on the apple tree. Just don't ring true. I say amen to your first part on a lot of christians and others of other faiths but to your second part on the union changing the issue of the civil war to slavery, Lincoln never wavered from "United we stand divided we fall" and the support of the union was paramount. The use of Slavery as an issue was one way to get the job done.
