This is a pretty good You Tube from Erik Paulsen, another Rep Congressman from MN on what the debt load means to our country. This is from House Ways and Means mtg
Say it isn't so, Beyonce' was lip-syncing! http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2013/01/22/beyonce-lip-synched-star-spangled-banner-reports-say/
This story reminds me of how much, even we don't realize it, how much our animals love us. They deserve to be well care for and treated with much love. Bless their soft and furry little hearts.
Signs of the times...
A layoff letter (which might be fake, but who cares?) going around the Internet
I can relate to this story in a way that unfortunately did not end in a happy ending. Our cat Minka died two weeks ago, but I know how these folks feel. This cat is family and it is the last thing you want to do is lose family. This story and others like it has shown to me the prove that animals that own humans are to be respected and adored because they give so much back for so little.
So sorry to hear you lost your furry family member. They are so precious to us aren't they. Give your heart time to heal and maybe rescue some lonely kitty waiting for you to love her.
Me too, Fireplug52. Lost our Harri, Sunday before last, and still have a tear every time I walk by where her dish resided for nearly 18 years. These Florida folks are fortunate indeed!
Of course she made it home, a beautiful female calico. Talk about determination, the calico and tortie are known for it and they are always female. This is why you chip them.....
Watched this earlier today. Great!
What is the link for the music you have on line Rs?
Since you mentioned Rshill7 songs, I was going to suggest this one to ABC.
It's called "Danger" https://soundcloud.com/rshill7/danger
The other ones are available there too :-)
I like Danger but my favorite still is To the Son. You are a guitar virtuosos Rs.
I need the kitty story... but I'll have to watch it later, I've got about 10 windows open all trying to load stuff.
I need music ideas folks. For the Benghazi movies. I'm running out of ideas and my brain is frazzled enough.
These are the songs I've used already, or have waiting so you have an idea of what I'm needing if anyone has any suggestion.
So far, These Colors Don't Run- Iron Maiden, Brothers in Arms-Dire Straits, Welcome to the Jungle-G&Rs, Forever Young- Audra Mae (Sons of Anarchy), Soldier's Eyes- Jack Savoretti, Machine Gun- Jimi Hendrix, Far From Home-Five Fingered Death Punch, Theme from Crimson Tide, My Sacrifice- Creed, Warriors of the World and Fight for Freedom- Manowar, Thunderstruck AC/DC, Watch Over You-Alter Bridge, Come Home- One Republic.
Anyone who could help with more ideas, I'd be extremely grateful. Thanks!
Hey Hey ABC!! Looks like you've struck the musical idea mother load here.
How about anything on the "In the Court of the Crimson King" album, King Crimson.
Listening now- it's been years since I heard this. Used to play it in the art room in high school when I stayed after to do sculpting. Those were some good times.
NYG, We're having way too much fun here.
:-)
Almost like the "olden days" with 45's and a phonograph.
NY you're a mind reader. I was on the Savoy Brown one earlier and saw a thing for King Crimson... gonna go look after I bawl over the Gary Allan song pol gave me.
xoxo Hi NY!
Well if I didnt spaz out opening a can of tuna, and cutting my finger… I would have been shakin' a tambourine!
lol. We've got an air band goin' on then huh. Me on air keyboard you air drummin'. We sound pretty darned good! :-)
lol. Well you done good then. Maybe you ought to go into business ;-)
Howdy NY. You're up late.
Mind reader? I don't know, but a little while ago I kept getting these mental flashes of you and poljunkie having a party somewhere with lots of good music and I had to search you guys out, and I found you!!
I love Stevie- but can you think of a less bluesy more rockin' one by him? I'm brain dead right now.
And we would have sounded awesome! :-D Hope your boo boo is better now :-D
I just told GIno, if I hadn't been a total spaz last night and cut my finger opening a can, I would have played in your band. You and I could have been …The Scoopettes to Ginos fine percussion work…. HA. My goodness, for one little slice, the blooooood.
He's doing fine. (Knock on wood) He's been posting quite a lot on C4P. His check up went better than expected. (Great news!!!) :-)
LOL That's cute too. Darn it I cant find ducks anywhere. Even my e mail I only have froggies. oh well.
Hey pol, have you heard anything from our VirginiaGentleman? I know he was due to have surgery soon- but I've not heard back from him at all. I'm kind'a worried.
:-( I can't get any of my browsers to to that. Oh well. I'll just have to copy and paste yours lol!
Well, I'm using Safari. But if you go to "Edit" at the top of the browser which is to the right of "file, click on edit, then the drop down will say things like undo, paste, spelling, speech etc. At the very bottom of the list is says Special Characters.
Click on that. A list will open and it will have currency signs, math symbols, music notes, and a small amount of tiny clip art, and smiley faces. I notice a lot of times when I use the little clip art such as the snow men, and other things like the ice cream cones, either they are too small or they dont show up. I haven't figured out a way to make them larger.
I'm over loaded lol. I'm gonna have to wait til tomorrow to do more- but keep them coming. You're late to the party a little NY, but I know you ROCK too. I've downloaded In the Court of the Crimson King. Forgot how much I loved that song!
I know. Believe me, I've paid a lot of attention to the words for many of the songs I've used already. A couple of them about killed me when I was putting them together. :-(
I KNOW! I couldnt believe he was the same guy who did Tough little boys.
I knew the voice was similar but he seems so much harder this past 5-7 years.

Oh crap- Gary Allan always makes me bawl.... smoke rings in the dark... sigh....
I like it. It's a different sound from the others- but I think it may work. :-) Thanks girlie!
oh geeez......that made me snort. There wasn't a reply button to the nose comment.
How about AC DC TNT
Saddest song alert. BUT I love it anyway. Gary Allan- Today!
Let it roll is a great song. I saw Little Feat with George Thorogood in 94.
I saw George recently about 2 years ago and he was just as good.
Back to the project:
Kind of Mellow
Eric Clapton, BB King
HOLD On- IM Coming!
bounty paper towels work better. Besides, they support Wounded Warrior Project. xoxox
True, I can't use this but I adore Craig Morgan!! All his songs make me bawl. OK- I won't be using this one either- but I love it- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozpdBvB0hek Yes, it will make you bawl.
OH yeah baby! Now you're talkin'! :-D You know, The Great Escape has to be the best movie ever! I love Steve McQueen.... sigh... ok sorry. Thanks Texas! Those are excellent!
Little Feat .."Texas twister", "Let it Roll","Fat Man in the Bathtub". Hendrix "Easy Rider"... Theme song from "The Great Escape", with Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, etc...Sorry, but YOU Started this....
AUGHHHHHH.
I just listened to it. Between Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers we can barely contain ourself's. Anything military and we lose it.
On the bottom of the page was a link for Craig Morgan---
This Aint Nothing (That song is guaranteed to make you cry so watch out)
I doubt it will be of much help for your project though.
Crap, now I'm bawling- Listening to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ejg-lPcFxU
Ohhhhhh I used to love this song. CROSS FIRE.
sorry about the pun

hmm I'll look thru my stuff. In the mean time…
How about Holy Diver RJDio
I LOVE Nowhere to Run... just not for this- but I'm gonna have to find a place for it in one of the future CFP videos I do. These Benghazi ones have taken much of my time, but they're so important!
I have made a few educational ones for CFP and will continue when I'm done these. I'll be able to use some of these songs for those too! :-)
GOODIE !!! JUST SENT 2 more...I`m Pumped (Makin`some hot tea...I`ll be here awhile, Honored to be "At Your Service") The "General`s Suite" is aka theme from "PATTON"....
I love the Moody Blues and was listening to a bunch earlier. I'll have to re listen to that one. I don't know if I know the Martha andthe Vandellas one or not. Going now. Thanks Texas.
YES! THe Story in Your Eyes is very good- a little short, but I may be able to use it. I'm downloading it now.
If you havn`t considered Moody Blues-"The Story in Your Eyes", or Martha and the Vandellas- "Nowhere to Run" Please do...
I listened to the Cherokee Amazing Grace earlier- it was incredible! :-) Savoy Brown- haven't heard in ages. :-)
Youtube search: Native American-Amazing Grace (In Cherokee) MOST XLNT...Savoy Brown..."Train to Nowhere"... tell me...
Oh, sorry about that.
Well I STILL like it.
The Shinedown is a winner too. If you look closely the iittle girl is holding a portrait of Ronnie Van Zant. Ahhhhh.
You've sent me Blackberry Smoke before. Back when we first talked music and I told you I grew up listenin' to groups like April Wine ;-)
lol I do that with some of my favorite songs- have the same ones on my different play lists so I can hear them more ;-)
NOT FOR WHAT you are doing:
BUT this is a good song. Good band.
Blackberry Smoke.
I like them.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aiCDfuw4m10
Ohhhh ohhhh and
Shinedown
I have them non live on my ipod/computer but looking them up on youtube I couldnt find them right off the bat…
Ave Maria is one of our #1 songs.
My husband loves this Elvis version!!! He has it on the computer , and he is sooo funny he made duplicates of the same song and plays it 4 or 5 times in a row.
Its pretty awesome.
I did love it, but I'm sorry pol sis, this one's gonna have to do it instead! I'll save this for the very last one I do when I finish them up.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3XdXEJEI4E
I gotta tell you sister, it's a bit odd listening to Aaron's version of Amazing Grace (which is incredible by the way!) after Iron Maiden and Metallica lol. then off to Ave Maria, which I LOVE that song.
I like this version though- I wish there was a non live version though (Amazing Grace I mean) I'm laughing that you're giving me all live stuff, and I'm switching to studio versions ;-) You're SO in concert mode! I love it.
I like it. It's good. Just enough moods. I'm listening to When the Levee Breaks now- always been one of my favorites :-) Downloading as I go. I sure appreciate it girlie. You and the others who've helped are awesome!
I thought a few might have parts you could use. ….Like the Midnight Express theme. I always thought that would be a great song to use as a background if I was going to interview someone!!!!
How about The General`s Suite Youtube version with Old Glory covering the screen? "Departure" and other songs by Moody Blues, Tons of Marshall Tucker stuff, maybe some retro stuff from WW2 like Andrews Sisters, Glenn Miller, etc....
Excellent ideas Texas. Thank you! You guys are going to be filling up my 56 hour days in no time lol. ;-) sure do appreciate these. I'll be looking for them.
I've got Machine Gun by Hendrix and Band of Gypsies. I do like Star Spangled Banner- may use that for the last one. Was trying to work in Zepplin's Immigrant Song last night lol, but it didn't really work. Maybe I need something like Archilles Last Stand- oh yeah... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6S9oqJRclo
:-) I guess I'll be pretty busy tonight again.
These songs are ALL at Youtube if you didn`t already know...PLUS, Hendrix: "Star Spangled Banner including Purple Haze" at Woodstock...Don`t forget Led Zep ...
I was actually thinking of that! I've got a few already to choose from if he'll let me. Thanks sweetOne.
Thanks mybear! :-) You don't need me to say you're the best- cause you already know that don't ya. xoxo
