This video was one of the entries in Powerline’s recent multimedia contest to come up with the best representation of the size of our nation’s crushing debt.
As you watch, consider the fact that the new debt deal increased the debt ceiling by $2.4 trillion dollars – an amount that would take 6,000 years to spend at a rate of $1 million per day. And we’ll need to raise it yet again in just 18 months according to Nancy Pelosi.
Truly mind-boggling.
