Sean Penn: actor and international diplomat

Sean Penn recently told a crowd of people that someone was “one of the most important forces we’ve had on this planet.”

Who was it? (NO CHEATING by looking in the comments!)

Why does it matter who or what Penn thinks????? He's like so many other celebrities that believe they have an insight into world affairs that mere mortals (that would be most of us) can't fathom? I could care less what he has to say about anything!

My favorite, still, was when Penn went to Iraq in order to he a "Human Shield" so he could defend Saddam Hussein .....

Don't have to look at the rest of the story or comments: Move to Venezuela and take that burnt out ex skank Madonna with you. It would only improve the gene pool in this country if you do.

Hugo Chavez. Probably only because he hasn't had dinner with Van Jones yet

I thought it would have been Bruce Springsteen. After all, didn't he get Obama re-elected? I think I'm going to be ill.

For that matter Chris Christie could have been the one.

That was my Captain America line...lol.

Nick Fury: I don't know about that, but it is powered by the cube. And I'd like to know how Loki used it to turn two of the sharpest men I know into his personal flying monkeys.

Thor: Monkeys?I do not understand.

Steve Rogers: I do! I understood that reference.

There just has to be something wrong with the leftist diet. 95% just do not age well at all.

It's the hatred and vitriol working it's way out through the years. The good news is they don't have to be embalmed after they die - the blood has completely boiled away.

Sean Penn is and has always been an arrogant ass! He's a hack actor, who thinks he knows what's best for everyone else, but he can only utter words like the puppet that he is. So, Chavez is his hero? How about Sean give away his millions, since he is so selfless and live with the 80% in Venezuela that live in poverty caused by this dictator monster hero of his? Go Sean Go! Show us what a truly selfless human being he is and please give up your citizenship to the USA while you're at it! You deserve to fully embrace and experience the communist lifestyle that you long for!

I knew as soon as I saw the headline! No news here. I wonder when the communist will finally just move to Venezuela and be done with it. Or maybe he's just waiting for Obama to move this country to total communism. In that case, he may not have to wait long!

I would have guessed Nelson Mandella for his necklacing advocacy, or maybe Che Guevara for his Marxism but Hugo was no surprise.

For someone that grew up in a socialist country, this is so sickening and insulting!! When I grew up, there was another American actor/singer, Dean Reed, parading with the East German pigs trying to explain to us how bad the western world is and how lucky we were; and then we were all ordered to smile and clap to his stupid music. I always wondered why is he doing that to us?

I guessed Chavez, but I wanted to say Satan. I decided to go with one of the lesser minions (and it was a toss-up between Obama and Chavez - I can't really tell the difference between the two these days).

Easy. He declared Scarlett Johannson 'one of the most important forces on the planet.'

I'm sorry BlueGood. I can't imagine. Just a little as I do have friends and a family member over there too- but it's different for spouses or parents. :-( I do pray that they can all come home. ((()))s

Naw, don't be sorry - it's just that do tear up much more easily as I get older, especially when I see these brave lads do their duty for us all, while the left denigrate and besmirch them.

Me too. Although I might have the odd day (like yesterday) when I barely make a peep- I know hard to believe I'd ever not talk, I always try and at least read the comments. They cheer me. :-D

Me too, sweetie. Confession time. Some days when you guys don't see me at all is because I'm busier than a one armed paper hanger but sometimes I just don't have the patience and calm for politic so I just avoid the place. It isn't our members, it's the infuriating subject matter.

I get it, doll.
