You know Obama’s bid for re-election is in serious trouble when the the folks at the Huffington Post (of all places) start piling on like this. Could they be trying to get him primaried? They certainly wouldn’t be the first disgruntled lefties to start banging that drum. Not that I’m rooting for that – I want the GOP nominee running directly against Obama and his miserable record. But in any case, this has to put a damper in the President’s 2012 hopes.
As Arianna Huffington herself said yesterday, nobody believes Obama’s jobs rhetoric anymore. And why would they? You’d have to be punch-drunk on White House Kool-Aid to put stock in anything Obama has to say about the economy these days, especially after watching this.
