I meant to post this earlier this morning because I think it’s important we not lose connection to what’s really going on in the areas of New York and New Jersey that were devastated by Hurricane Sandy. In this interview Scott McGrath sits in his cold house where there is no electricity and no heat in order to show everyone what he and his wife have to deal with while we are all comfy in our warm houses watching Fox News:
If Bush were still presiding over FEMA you’d see these stories all over the place with the media bashing Bush like they did over Katrina. But the media doesn’t want us to hate Obama so there is no outrage over FEMA not getting trailers to people like McGrath who desperately need the assistance.
