Parker Griffith – Dem Leadership to blue dogs: “We’re really not interested in what you have to say”

I’ll be honest. My cynicism says Griffith is leaving to protect his position in the House; but another part of me wants to believe that he is sincere. In fact he says at the end of the interview that it was simply a matter of conviction for him to leave. I’m leaning toward believing that he is being honest, but thanks to all of his corrupt colleagues I’m keeping my eyes wide open. I really hate being a cynic.

Here’s a quote:

“What the leadership in the Democratic Party is saying [to blue dogs] is ‘You can be here but you’ll not have a place at the table. If you’d like to continue to sit with us that would be wonderful but we’re really not interested in what you have to say.’”
