NBC News’ Ann Curry has “drawn back the curtain” on the Ahmadinejad regime in Iran, and surprise surprise – she has learned that he’s a tireless man of the people who strives for world peace and harmony.
Or something.
On top of that, he’s a bit of a fitness buff and also prays five times a day. How does he squeeze it all in? Ann Curry can only stand back and marvel. Too bad she never got around to asking Ahmadinejad why they hang gay people in his country. Or why his vision for world peace doesn’t include Israel. Or any number of other real questions like that. Maybe she’s saving the hard ones for tomorrow’s report.
This is Iranian propaganda, pure and simple. NBC News should be ashamed of itself for playing along.
