Morgan is quick to point out that he knows Santorum doesn’t actually ‘hate’ women, but believes some of his ideas may make him anti-women, specifically his personal belief on contraception.
The problem is that Morgan, while trying to play this down, is doing what the libs do all the time. He’s just ‘putting it out there’ to put the idea in the listener’s head that Santorum is anti-women and wants to ban contraception. Morgan is doing his part to push that meme simply by vocalizing it. After all, if enough people ask Santorum why he’s anti-woman or why he wants to ban contraception, there must be something to it right?
