to say ron Paul won this debate is just utterly insane. I was rooting for Perry but Romney won it hands down - no doubt in my mind.

People claim that there are "Paul bots". I have actually seen crowds of people supporting Ron Paul. To assume he doesn't have a massive following is foolish. Why is it so hard to admit that we Ron Paul supports like Ron Paul enough to go online and vote for him. Why do ppl claim its only one guy or two? And besides even if i wanted to vote over and over itd be impossible to so it from one IP address. Polls protect themselves from that ever happening, just as with the FOX text poll back in 2007. Stop listening to the media and do your own research and you'll find that Paul is waaaaaaay more popular than given credit. Even Reagan was considered too extreme to get in office. Itll either be Obama again or Paul. RON PAUL 2012!!!
Have you ever actually read or listened to Ron Paul truly explain the real problem of immigration and how economics is the root of it all? Gotta know the actual problem before you can just spout the same rhetoric that's always been spouted about it.
I disagree with you and having seen my own share of this ridiculous "war on terror," I agree with Paul MORE NOW than I would have had I just been a typical outsider who hasn't been to Iraq for 2 years of my life.
The pessimist in me says that this government has already grown out of control and our country as we know it will fall to economic destitute regardless of who takes over the presidency.
The realist in me says that actually...America might suffer further unemployment and the economy will tank more and recovery will be prolonged through more government intervention...but just as America survived the Great Depression...we can also survive a 2nd Obama term.
I will not rethink my position. As I said...here in Oklahoma...the electoral college will take a 3 to 2 R vs. D vote and turn all 5 of them into R votes. So...the general election really doesn't matter to me because of where I live. That's why I'm so adamant about the primary. I truly believe that anyone besides Ron Paul will turn into a RINO the second they win the primary and then America will be left with that "God-awful" choice we had in 2008..."lesser of two evils." I'm sick of being stuck in that system. I'd RATHER America collapse NOW than prolong its suffering like that.

Are we honestly any "safer" now with homeland security beefed up just a mere step away from full-on cavity searches for anyone who uses not just airlines, but ANY public transportation? Are we honestly any "safer" now with over 100,000 troops risking their life and limb nation-building? Ron Paul's the only one on that stage who's actually BEEN in the military and has any real idea how the military operates and how warfare actually works having served during a war...which like this one...was a losing battle of nation-building. He's been through this before and realizes that just like Vietnam...this "war on terror" won't is just going to drain us as well.

im srry to mention about discluding any canidate from these kinda votes or anything, but i perfer to keep ron paul off these kinda votes, cause all his little 6% of his real national support flood these things and we dont really see who the real winner is, everyone knows ron paul didnt win it hahaa, and for ron paul to be over 60 percent in every single online vote is false crap. hes from my state and hes a good rep but im srry, the man is crazy. im not for anyone, but i seriously hate seeing these ron paul spammers, really annoying as hell

Great debaters don't make great leaders. If you're going to go by polls anyway...there have been phone polls done just in Texas that showed Ron Paul with higher scores than Perry...in Perry's own state. Just some food for thought.

Every small government idea that has appeared in the past few years has been plagiarized from Paul. Many of the same people who were had absolutely no problem spending and voting for bills without reading them during Bush's administration are ONLY NOW talking about "Hey...we need to knock this off."

That makes no sense whatsoever. A poll is only that anyway...especially online. Little kids and felons can vote in this thing, if they want to. I think the only reason Scoop bothered including Ron Paul this time is because so many of us decided to rack up his poll with people like Gingrich and Huntsman just to drive the point home.
So, let me get this staight. If you can't rig the poll with Ron Paul votes, then you will rig it for votes for someone else. Hmm, thanks for ending this discussion with a big win for me.
WHY NOT put someone else's name in there, if our guy isn't on there? To leave our guy out makes the poll just as worthless as if we actually stayed out of it.
It's just an online poll anyway. If this were something that was going to have a serious and real outcome such as...oh...I don't know...the actual primary or presidential election...then MAYBE you could cry and whine and complain like a child about how we're "rigging" it. THEN, though...you bear the burden of proof that we "cheated," which getting lots of supporters to come vote on something or someone does no such thing.

Just to point out something, posting here is a privilege, not a right. The First Amendment protects you from the government.
The point is to stop nation-building...and he's expressed his hatred for FEMA before too. He wants to give disaster relief money directly to the people who actually need it...not the contractors who spend entirely too long rebuilding roads and bridges.
