Still disturbs me that the Military and local police are issued 9mm and 5,52 mm and Obama bought millions of rounds of .357 for Social Security office guards, TSA and other Fed agencies. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised to see Obama and Valerie arm our US Postmen and Letter Carriers and use them and their vehicles to pick up guns from neighborhoods!
A 9mm round is about 0.9 inches long. The .357 is about 1.7 inches long. It carries twice the stopping power of 5.52 (M16). The penetrated power of the .357 dwarf's both. If you don't have an AK, or better, variety long gun for homeland defense, you ought to move up when you can.
The good news is that the military trained defender, vets and active duty, won't hesitate.

We have had a rash of shooting violence the last few years. Is one sparking another in the same sense the mass shootings at schools were. Copycat shooters trying to get attention on themselves?
Every time this happens it gives ammo to the left to force gun control.

Sooo - three days aren't sufficient for the sheriffs to take the guns off that killer? Are there Union rules saying 'no work from Friday to Monday'?
That's not a name that can be mistaken identity either. It's extremely highly unlikely there's anyone by that same name in the state (although it's possible).
If a 12 year old GIRL can shoot a creep right through a closed closet door, why are so many ADULTS not armed?
Imagine a scene when 10 angry ladies pull out their .357's at him the second he pulled his gun. Maybe a "wtf" Kodack Moment for the bad guy?

Seriously, though, could you imaging what American families would do if government did that and their family members got killed? Not a good thought.

Believe me, I understand the pressures on our firearms liberty. I remember watching the videos of guns being piled up and crushed, and cut into pieces when the ban took effect over there. It was disheartening to say the least. Even old antique guns in glass cases were destroyed. It was a scary sight to see all of that.
I don't believe that they will get our guns before they collapse the system. They will then go door to door after requiring a voluntary turning in of guns. I expect it to happen though. The New World Order cannot tolerate armed citizens. As it is, they have built databases on those who purchase guns and gun related items, so they know where to look.
They won't be able to do it as long as Americans believe that we are a sovereign nation with a binding constitution. (which isn't true) We will have to enter an overt state of emergency, rather than the covert one that we live under right now. (declared, but not widely known) The constitution allows our government to seize all property if necessary under a declaration of a national emergency by our president, which we have had in effect since 1933. Our currency is set up in such a way as to transfer all wealth to the owners of the currency by placing a lien on all things purchased with it. A private bank owns our currency.
We are in bigger doo doo than most people know. The Fed Note is being abandoned as the world reserve currency - petro dollar, and the proprietors of the currency are bailing out foreign banks, while our government publicly destroys its value in a consorted effort to collapse the entire system. We don't have much time left.
Personally, I see gun confiscation as a natural progression towards authoritarian rule, which we are largely under now. Eventually we will all be under something that more closely resembles totalitarian rule.
Americans are largely ignorant to their own reality. Ignorance is death in this world. Always has been.
I have been sorry to see what has transpired in the UK and the whole of Europe. I have on occasion been blessed to hear from guys like Nigel Ferrage, and Lord Monkton. They do a pretty good job of describing how Europeans have lost their connection with their governing bodies, and how it has been shifted into the hands of the EU. I wouldn't want to be there when your system collapses, and ours will be shortly after that, if not in concert with it. I have prepared for such an event, and will have food and shelter, but many won't.

Now compare that with the situation here in the UK: most clubs shut down, and our Olympic sports shooters are all gone to the continent because they can't train here.
Worse - the British Olympic Committee cut the funding for the sport shooters, from funding fifty down to five.
