The RNC has a powerful new ad out this morning targeting the new audio released yesterday of Obama saying he believes in wealth redistribution:

That's a great ad! Again, I wish I saw more of these in NC as opposed to on here but glad I'm seeing them none the less.

You can tell whats his name from 60 min caught him when he said "the socialist has come out of the closet" and Obama just gave that smile like "yeah, yeah you got me". Loved that they stopped that portion right there with his smile. Glad that they had Romney in the same ad as well.

Great ad again.

Would also love to see an ad showing that other clip from the Steve Croft interview where Obama starts giggling while discussing the hard economic times Americans are facing and Croft asks him if he's punch drunk. Same creepy griggle/grin. It's a brief moment of transparency, where his fake veneer of seriousness is briefly removed. It's as if he's saying, "Yeah, ya got me. I don't really care about all the people and things I pretend to care about". But again, he knows it doesn't matter. The MSM has got his back.

This is the best and most meaningful ad I've seen this election year

We want more!

You ever notice that creepy smile that Obama has when he's caught in a lie (e.g. that clip where Steve Croft ask him if this is the socialist Obama). You can always tell when Obama's lying. It happens whenever his mouth moves. But when he's caught, that big creepy laugh/grin comes out as if he's laughing inside and thinking (Oh well, this guy called me out, but it doesn't matter. Too many people have got my back covered)

where's Samuel L Jackson when you need him?? Oh wait he's signing up to redistribute some of his wealth to the rest of us.....oh he didn't get that memo....well someone better fax it to him quick. I've got groceries to buy!

Redistribution of wealth goes hand-in-glove with obama's campaign slogan = FORWARD. That should scare rational people to their very core.

Great ad!!! Keep pounding the message...Obummer slithered out of that accusation four years ago by demonizing Joe the Plumber with help from the MSM. This time, people know that they were bamboozled and are open to listen. And I believe that most people do agree that Obummer does believe in redistribution. He has made financial success shameful unless you are an enlightened liberal willing to finance his campaign.

News flash - the progressive income tax is redistributive, nothing new here. No amount of historical negative ads can save Romney at this point. Hell, Dems have a treasure trove of historical vids of Romney (Pro-choice, pro-mandate, anti-gun - pick your poison). He has been a flawed candidate from the beginning. TPaw, Rick, Newt, anyone, would have been a better candidate than this poser. It is time to focus money on the congress and senate.

Great ad. They need to call Obama what he is a Marxist. Take off the gloves GOP.

I would like to see an ad with old WWII or Korean War or Vietnam Vets talking about how we fought wars against this and now Marxism has invaded our country with the promise of free stuff. America is enslaving itself.

Now we're talking

THIS is what the election is about

Individualism vs Collectivism

I think it's about time Romney and Ryan start using the "S" word: SOCIALIST. They've been dancing around it for weeks now, but now it's time to pull out the big guns. Because, after all, what is "the redistribution of wealth" but rank socialism? Time to call "redistribution" for what it is, pure socialism, and we fought an entire Cold War to prevent this country from going down that road. Time to stand up and fight that war again. Only this time, we have to do it in this election against one of our own people. The ghost of Ronald Reagan is probably weeping right now. Either that or he's angry as hell.

Kordane
Kordane

Well, technically it's marxism, not socialism. The nationalization of private property is socialism.

Romney should air this one continuously until election day. Maybe if people hear "In America we celebrate success" over and over and over again, they will begin to believe it, and desire to be successful.

Sorry Joy, but this ad gets Romney no one. Its a one bullet ad with too many visuals in it that are not needed or helpful. Who cares about the convention shot, if you didn't want to propaganderized (is that a word?) and skipped the convention, the commercial forces it on them. Also, course his VP nominee is going to clap, I don't need to see the Ryans rooting for themselves. Joy, see my comments below, think of what the commercials are supposed to do (influence the undecideds and borderlines, maybe even 3% of the 47% he "allegedly" gave up on. Cut the snakes head of with his own words, no music, no self grandiosity just the bare stark truth.

NCHokie02
NCHokie02

I disagree. They used O in his own words and at two seperate times to make the same point (so they can't say, that was the old Obama) and reinforce it. Then showing Romney stating what every American (for the most part) would agree to if you probably asked them one on one in a conversation.

I think you're too concerned about little things, ie. Ryan clapping.

Ever notice when Barry is caught with his pants down he always turns his head and gives the Alfred E Newman grin? Look at the tapes where he is challenged (not many I know!) and look at his body language. Turn head, grin. I hate that grin, another way for him to flip us the bird.

I live in the sorry and pathetic, no longer a Golden State, California and I don't any ads from either candidates. I should move to a swing state:)

OY yoi yoi. Who the f is running this guys campaign. Is the shot of Ryan and his wife necessary, is the background music necessary, are the repeated Steve Croft spots the only video proof of this guys agenda? Please tell me this is a nightmare and the Romney advisers are going to wake up. If I'm running the show, short, stark, blunt, no distraction (ie back ground music) commercials using the socialists own words seem to be enough. If Romney ain't likable, leave his face out of them, use your brains. why aren't they showing the video of Obama stating the shovel ready jobs weren't as shovel ready as he said, with the snickering in the background. That 15 second snippet in and of itself is enough to make anyone that is unemployed (and wants to work) or who cared about where the stimulis money went, go nuts. This is a poor commercial Mitt. There's so much video given and words spoken by this moron theres no need to show the aforementioned cuts. Mitt you want an adviser, get in touch with me and/or most posters on this sight, we haven't forgotten what this guy has done in the last 3 years. I understand theres soo very much he has done wrong some has been forgotten but the guy your depending on needs help in displaying the acts of treason and divisiness this guy has displayed,. Your campaign needs a kick in the ass and hopefully you vetted them better then you searched them for cameras. Apparently your team is either in Obamas bag or they have memories that are failing. SHORT-BLUNT-STARK- REAL- NO DISTRACTIONS(cameos shots of the convention, ryan clapping)Make 'em short and put 'em on often, if you can get 15 secs twice in a half hour I think it would be better than a 30 sec repetitive ad, show his disdain for America in his own words, remind us of his numerous counter American views. Use the shovel ready jobs/snickering snip everyday, use the tranparent gov't promise followed by Pelosi saying we have to vote for it to see whats in it charade. . Jeez

iaintlyin
iaintlyin

ps, I honestly think that Romneys campaign has been infiltrated by 0'ites. His campaign is not delivering his message well at all and his attack ads seem to be less than what they could be. His attack ads should be cuts/snippets of 0's own words, Romney needs to say nothing therefore they are'nt viewd as attacks, they'll be viewed as reality/reminders. His vote for me ads should be graphics of his policies/plans. Its funny, Greg Gutfeld on The Five said it perfectly, The Left has terrible messages but great messengers, the Right has great messages but lousy messengers. Get Newt involved.

Kordane

I prefer "individual achievement" to "success"; the focus is then put on individuals, rather than the collective/group, thus denying collectivists any chance to inject their collectivism into the rhetoric.

Now we are getting there! I really wish they would edit it and and have a version that uses Romeny's words from the mamajones tape instead of that speech.

Stand Romney's candid beliefs up against Obama's candid beliefs.

True, but the MSM keeps explaining it away and the dumb folks believe the MSM that it's about roads and bridges.

It is my belief obama's comment "you didn't build that" is the most damning thing he could have said. But it's not November 6th yet-it is possible he could say something even more stupid than that.

Note Obama's defense mechanism at the :28 second mark, when Croft suggests he is a socialist...turns away, big smile.

Orangeone

So why doesn't Romney sit down with Croft and have a discussion on O'Blameveryonelse's redistribution of wealth philosophy.

This does not scare libtards like my younger brother. They actually believe in this philosophy of legalized plunder, just as Obama does. It may get through to some independents though, which would be a good thing.

Very good ad! Now get it on TV! I keep seeing some great ads on this website, only to never see them on TV. Now I don't watch a lot of TV, which might be why I don't see them. However, I do keep seeing NObama ads on TV. And few Romney ones. I'm also in MA, which makes a difference I suppose. The swing State voters probably get to see a lot more Romney ads.

Sandra123456
Sandra123456

I agree. Where are all the ads running?

I don't watch a lot of TV either but like you I see the Barry ads.

I'm in upstate NY where there is high unemployment. You would think there would be a lot of ads but....?

Orangeone
Orangeone

WW, me too and I wonder if it is because we don't live in a swing state (I don't anyway). I think Romney is short-changing himself by narrowing his focus. There will be other states in play if they saw ads like we've seen on TRS.

Whitewolf2009
Whitewolf2009

I agree 100% A lot of people are unemployed, underemployed, or just scared of losing the job they have. They need to be told there is an alternative.

I keep seeing the question asked: Are you better off now then you were 4 years ago?

How about asking: Do you want to be better off in 4 years time?

I think that would resonate with independents who are currently very unhappy with their life/job/concern for future and family and childrens future, etc.

Orangeone
Orangeone

WW, sorry for the confusion.  Yes send the idea to the Romney, no the Romney wouldn't have thought of asking "Do you want to be better off 4 years from now?" question.
