I thought it was a pretty interesting interview. Bottom line is that he believes that states should have more control over how they handle gay marriage, but we aren’t there yet. And he didn’t hide the fact that he would vote for a Constitutional amendment banning gay marriage if the people supported it. Probably not what Maddow wanted to hear, but I’m glad he came out with it, no pun intended.
