Rand Paul says that sources close to the Super Committee say that the Democrats have walked away from the table, refusing to work with Republicans on a deal:
This is exactly what most of us knew would happen. When they made this deal a few months ago, I said they would hold the trigger hostage unless Republicans agreed to raise taxes. And that is exactly what they are doing. And of course, when the automatic cuts kick in because there is no deal, Republicans will get all the blame.
