By the time you read this you will already know it passed the senate.

So now who is holding the gun to the head of the economy?
- Anonymous
No, see, you still don’t get it – when Dems do it it’s good policy and politics. You really need more “education” – I suggest 30 days of NPR. That should do it.

“The only way we can have a fair arrangement for the American people is to have an equal share”……Ding Ding Ding Dingy Harry just hit it on the head, EQUAL SHARING of the tax burden. It is called the Fair Tax or the Flat Tax option Dingy not this Progressive tax system we have in place currently. Sorry I could only make it through 30 seconds of his diarrhea of the mouth on taxes before I couldnt take it anymore.

Amen dood! I heard it via Rush, but it was still sickening… Even with Rush making comments ^_^ Anyhow, I can’t help feeling that we, and a lot of Repubs, have been taken. Did you see Obummer talking about how he wants to spend spend spend now? /sigh The great news never ends…

HEY Filthy Harry, tell us about the SUPER PANEL…That 12 headed ZSAR.!!!..all else is smoke.
- http://twitter.com/MaroonRepublic Maroon Republic
then tax some of the 49% that don’t pay taxes. There GOP a little lesson in how you do things in Washington.
- Anonymous
Everyone should be taxed – if only, at the very least, to make sure everyone has a stake in the system.
- Anonymous
That is income taxes only, and 12% of those people make between 50 and 100k per year. The problem is the tax code. If you want to get at the heart of the problem it’s taxes on corporations, the amount that they contribute keeps getting less and less due to favors written into legislation and passed by the very people the tea party supports. Corporations in the us much less than almost every other industrialized nation, I’m not talking the % tax rate because almost no corporation actually pays that %.

Harry wants to raise taxes? Say it ain’t so! Why, just the other day, he & his minions were trying to convence us how conservative they were with our money.
Hah! - Anonymous
Rush is trying to maintain his composure.

Is the highway bill to be modeled after WTA or is it the more modern WTF! Maybe we will get to build a cowboy festival dam. This is a repeat of the stimulus bill plain and simple.
- http://twitter.com/RFKA Rafael Kafka
Relax. They will need a budget in 2012 and we’ll do the same thing demanding the extension of Bush Tax Cuts and no new taxes. Liberals are girly-man, they don’t support the heat and crack.

Seems nothing but “hidden catch” to me.

I agree. Except for the “hidden” part. I think everyone here saw this coming a mile away.

Lol, well said sir. And true.

Hang dog Harry is at it again! Lapping up the greenery on both sides of his mouth. Maybe he can get a cowboy poet to write a little ditty about him. Stimulus bill #87 wouldn’t be enough for these rotten @%^*&*s.
- Anonymous
Hope that picture of the greenery you drew doesn’t stick in my head for too long. Not pretty. Reid is not only corruipt but interaction with him by anyone mentally fit will will soon likely be limited to visiting hours.

I’ll try to paint a nicer image tomorrow, I’m just feeling pretty peevish today.

Are you kidding, I love the personal twist. Ride ‘em hard. Over & out.

Didn’t Republican touted no new tax increase in this deal just yesterday? GOP talking point about how “baseline budgeting” would make it virtually impossible for the Committee to impose tax hikes? We are not going to raise tax in the committee, explained Paul Ryan.

Why does Washington never have to share in the pain? As far as I see it’s the rich that always have to be the ones that take on the pain.
If I was super rich I’d leave this country.

I refuse to go to Las Vegas until this man is no longer being sent to the Senate to represent Navada. He is a disgrace to this country. I think he is senile. What is wrong with Navada voters. We need mandatory age retirement in congress.

I noticed Rush was trying to keep from losing it too — can’t wait to hear Mark Levin go off tonight. What a debacle.

We have to hold our breaths until January 2013. The more such devious crap these dogs pull, the worse they will get trashed in November.

O.K., here’s the real deal, listen up. To get on this committee you must be a registered Democrat, 5th generation from a certified blue state, have at least two pair of Birkenstocks, have a Liberal arts degree in anything from Columbia, Harvard, any school in D.C. or California, (the last requirement can be bypassed if you have at least eight union card carrying members in your family), drive a Prius or some such p.o.s. that makes a correct statement, think Larry David is the bomb and has a full collection of Barbra ‘s albums. See how fair and easy and attuned to America we are?
- http://foxnation.com TeaPartyPatriot4ever
What Reid is trying to say, is that he wants this committee, to let the Bush Tax cuts expire, thereby raising taxes for all Americans, by 500 Billion Dollars, as well as raising additional taxes on top of that.. instead of growing the Economy through proven pro-Capitalist Free Market Policies, lessoning of the current govt. over regulations, that are suffocating, strangling, and destroying the US Economy, thus gaining any much needed revenue that way..

For every billion they will spend, says dingy Harry, they will create 47,000 high paying jobs! $21,000 is a high paying job? Meh… I’ll accept it’s a job in any case.
P.S. Harry… How many jobs did the 1T stimulus create? Just askn’

Lets us consider moving our Nations capitol to Lebanon, Kansas. Dead center of the United States. We can turn the present location in DC into a historical district. In Kansas, the Capitol will be surrended by farmers instead of greedy lawyers and thieves.
Also, in Kansas, our Congress and Senators would be surrounded by US as they do our bidding, serving and representing US. Just think, after two to four years of Kansas they would be ready to leave and go back to their pre-government jobs at home, like a self imposed term limit.
They would most likely do a better job being surrounded by farmers with pitchforks. - Anonymous
The “Super Committee, Panel Congress” is unconstitutional! Article I, Section 1.
“All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.”
As Judge Andrew Napolitano stated, “Emphasis on ALL” — It [U.S. Constitution] doesn’t say SOME and it doesn’t say it can be given away.” - KenInMontana
Just goes to show how delusional Harry really is, perhaps some one ought to let him know he doesn’t get to dictate to this committee, besides their mandate is to decide how the pathetic cuts from this bill will be applied, not to raise revenues. He has also overlooked the fact that if he and his cronies throw a fit and don’t go with it, entitlements will get the axe right along with defense. Say goodbye to your cowboy poetry Harry.

This is exactly what I said would happen, that the Democrats would hold the trigger option (which includes over 500 billion in defense cuts) hostage unless we raise taxes. It hasn’t even passed the Senate yet and Harry Reid is already saying it on the Senate floor.
