Rep. Cleaver says Romney shouldn’t criticize Obama in front of ‘a crowd like that’

So the man who is running against Obama shouldn’t have dared utter a criticism of Obama in front of ‘a crowd like that’? Does Cleaver mean a crowd of black people? Because that’s how SECUPP translated his comment:

If people at the NAACP are so loyal to Obama that to criticize him at all will turn them off, then Romney will never get their vote. We call them Obamabots for a reason.

Honestly I think Cleaver is just looking for something to use against Romney because I don’t believe that many folks were upset that Romney criticized Obama’s policies. They may have disagreed with Romney, but to be offended or turned off by the fact that Romney criticized a sitting president? Well I think most of the people there probably expected that.
