Rep. Peter King (R-NY): I hear “whispering” of recruiting other candidates if Romney loses Michigan

Obviously Mitt Romney is in deep trouble if he can’t pull out a primary win today in his home state of Michigan. Even if he manages to win a close one it doesn’t bode well for his prospects going forward. Here is Rep. Peter King telling CNN’s Soledad O’Brien he’s hearing whispers that other candidates may be recruited – and he names Chris Christie, Jeb Bush, Paul Ryan, and Mitch Daniels as possibilities – if Romney loses Michigan.

Never mind Rick Santorum I guess, because he’s unelectable. Or something like that.
