More and more people are standing up against the corruption of Holder and Obama. The fight needs to be stronger.
Not so fast. Obama still has a few months to make an even more spectacular record...maybe 18 trillion.
These statements should come as no surprise to anybody. The democratic party is the party of hypocrisy before anything else. It's always been do as I say not as I do.
I believe Barack is to the point now where even if the healthcare law is overturned (for example) by the supreme court, that he'll just say something like:
"They've made an incorrect choice in this matter and we're going ahead with our plans because it's what the American people put me in office to do".
To summarize the Congressmen, the law only applies when it's favorable for Barack and the democrats to apply it.
P.S. Notice how I do not call him the President but call him by his first name. Because only a man who respects the Office of the President deserves to be called that. He has no respect for the office therefore I have no respect for him as my President so I'll just call him Barack.
Obama not only has no respect for the Presidency he has no respect for the country whatsoever.
Obama is putting the implementation of Obamacare into high gear just in case it gets shot down by the Supreme Court. He wants to say, and will say that we cannot undo it now because it's too imbedded into the system and too many people will be hurt by it.
Through the bums in the whitehouse out along with the czars, and where they land who gives a dam?

Finally, a Republican with courage! Hopefully, his remarks will give a boost to some other brave souls. I wonder if the Congressman would be interested in running for president. We need someone like Steve King.

The curious fact is, President Obama's attorney, Alexandra Hill, couldn't have been more adamant about not citing the online birth certificate as a means of proving the president's identity in this recent challenge -- and after everyone went to so much trouble to get it! Indeed, she called the Internet image "legally irrelevant," arguing that New Jersey law doesn't specifically call for a birth certificate to qualify a presidential candidate for the ballot.

The birth certificate issue is a no go. The Supreme Court has ruled multiple times that the person suing has no standing....and that includes a Congressman. No one seems to be hurt by Obama being a fraud....at least according to the Supreme Court.
Great Speech and Right on Point of every instance cited, I would be very proud to have Steve King as my Representative.
I disagree with only one thing King said.
Instead of it being a "disingenuous" way to enforce the law he should have called it what is really is: It is a CORRUPT way to not enforce the law.
All I have to say about ObamaCo's attempts to squelch the States' and the Peoples' rights to defend themselves from foreign criminals is this:
"The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people."
Amendment 9, United States Constitution
Put plainly for the stupid: just because the federal government has certain enumerated powers, does not mean the states cannot take on similar, or identical, duties and responsibilities. States are sovereign, and instead of their being this mythological "separation of Church and State" that prevents theologians from having a say in their own government, there actually IS a wall of separation between the States, the People and the federal government. As far as I'm concerned, if I was president, I'd let states have their own anti illegal immigration forces, similar to Border Patrol and ICE, and pass their own laws that did not conflict with federal law and the Constitution. I couldn't care less if the States started rounding up illegal aliens, imprisoning them at hard labor for a time, and deporting entire families (which is prudent, in accordance to the 14th Amendment).
I would like for the states to implement deportation, but how would that work? If Kansas deported some illegals where would they deport them to? The Oklahoma border or could we take them all the way to Mexico?
That went over my head...I think. Do you mean Kansas would give them to Oklahoma which would give them to Texas which would kick their butts into Mexico? Or do you mean put the illegals on a chain of forced labor (ha ha)?

I'm sorry to have "barged into" the Right Scoop uninvited, but since I'm here, there is one more thing I need to say. I doubt the ability of the Organizer-In-Chief to control what he and Eric "Mypeople" are heating up. The New Black Panther Party, for example, is likely to shed significant innocent blood, and then large volumes of their own. I don't want that.
The New Black Panthers are a bunch of big mouths with empty statements and claims. When they called for a day of violence I didn't see much, did you? What was done sure wasn't by them....that I know of. They just try to stir up the pot hoping someone else will do it so they don't go down for it.
Possibly so. They are helping stir the pot on racial tensions, for sure, and for their own political ends. What happens when even more people get hurt?
I think that even if everything blows over, you'll still be left with increased tension and distrust.
This, under an administration that was supposed to stand for reconciliation and as living proof that Americans were beyond the color of a person's skin. It's all he can think about! I'm utterly disgusted that Obama, of all people, doesn't use his election and his position of authority to bring unity.
It was never in 0b0 to bring unity, he is all about divisiveness, that is how revolutionaries and Mutiny Organizers work, they pit group against group until the pot is boiling over.
if by "everything blows over" you mean after the EXPLOSION, the amount of tension will depend on the largest group left, those that Want to protect their STUFF, or those that think they are entitled to everyone's STUFF.
The bigger the CRISIS they can make by fanning the flames of the OWS street disruptions and the racial tension the bigger the OPPORTUNITY to use oppressive power of the government.

You're absolutely correct. We've got Allen West, Paul Ryan, and a few others - see previous Scoop pages for specific examples. We need to get MUCH more vocal in the Senate. The way I see it, Mike Lee is really the only faithfully outspoken Senator when he gets the opportunity. Rubio has some good moments, but he's creeped me out a little over the past few weeks with his endorsement of Mittens... We need noisemakers in both Houses AND we need to change leadership in BOTH Houses.

Scoop does a great job of finding timely, pertinent stories throughout each day. And, he graciously allows some Open Threads for us to "talk amongst ourselves." :~)
