Mark Levin brought this up earlier in the week and now Tim Scott is echoing the sentiment. I hope he’s not the only member of Congress doing so.
If Obama is just going to blow right past the debt ceiling anyway, no matter what Congress decides, then these negotiations are pointless – except that the Republicans will be giving Obama political cover as he continues to deliberately spend the country into oblivion.
