The Israelis must bomb them back, and hard. Show them you mean business by keeping constant air patrols over Gaza, either with manned aircraft or with armed drones. As soon as Hamas fires a rocket, attack the rocket site and the area around it. Do this long enough and Hamas will get the message. If the US were a real ally, it would offer as many armed drones as possible to assist the Israelis in maintaining this constant air coverage over Gaza. This would be A LOT cheaper than invading Gaza and probably be just as successful. Hamas WANTS an invasion for propaganda value. Don't give it to them. An air campaign against Gaza would probably work just as well and save the lives of many Israeli troops.

I read that passage with my 17 yr old daughter today & it is really sobering. I really think we are about to witness something huge. Palestinians were kicked out of their homes and forced into the worlds largest open-air prison many years ago. And since then have been treated like prisoners in their own country. It makes sense that some might hold a grudge against Isreal. I'm not saying that Isreal shouldn't defend themselves, but simbly lobbing missles back into gaza won't stop any terrorists, only kill inocent people caught in the cross fire. If we really want to solve this problem we need to look at both sides of the issue.

Hama's rockets are nothing compared to Isreal. Hamas is no real threat. This is all just propoganda to continue this dumb conflict in the middle east. Face it, America just wants to control the middle east and Isreal is the one Country that backs us 100%.
If I thought it were of any use, I'd suggest you inform yourself about the history of this conflict, which has nothing at all to do with 'America wants to control the Middle East', nor with Israel being their helper.
