I hear immigration. I hear abortion. I hear bigger tent. I hear drones.
I hear a lot of things being discussed these days and all of that would normally be fine and dandy if they weren’t the only things sucking up all the oxygen. My point is I’m not concerned so much about what we are discussing, but what we aren’t discussing.
This year there have been several GOP politicians vying for the limelight to discuss several issues. Legislation is being crafted by Republicans in the name of debating issues. The Republican Party is trying to make itself more palatable to the public at large. Some of these things are very good.
But where is the “Keep America From Collapsing Act”?
The “Protect America from Economic and Societal Destruction Act”?
The “We’re DOOMED If We Don’t Act Now Act”?
Where are the speeches about the impending doom America faces because of our out of control spending and debt? Sure, there may be peeps of it here or there, but it should be the one unifying message of the Republican Party. According to Paul Ryan, we are maybe a year or so away from economic collapse and all we’re talking about is immigration!
SOUND THE ALARM, SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS! TELL AMERICANS THE TRUTH!
Republicans, we are begging you for urgency, we are begging you to be straight with the American people for once!
It’s not about saving the Republican Party, it’s about saving America!
The Republican Party needs a unifying message on this issue, and this short monologue by Mark Levin is a great place to start. Listen to it Republicans and talk about it until that becomes the one overarching message of the Republican Party.
This is what America needs to hear (audio below):
The framers of the Constitution, they would say:
You folks, you’re just going through the motions. You don’t have a Constitutional Republic. You have a republic that’s hanging by a threat, if you can even call it a republic.
What do you mean Congress passed a law and the President signed it, to interfere with your health care decisions? What do you mean the Supreme Court upheld it as constitutional under the written Constitution? How is that possible? It’s impossible!
What do you mean the federal government spends a debt of over 100% of what the economy produces? We gave them limited enumerated rights to the various branches. How did that happen?
What do you mean you’re in debt 70-120 TRILLION dollars? Don’t you know you’re destroying your country?
Republicans today go on and on that their backs are against the wall, there’s nothing they can do. They run for office, they beg you for their vote and then when they’re there, they act like there’s nothing they can do.
At least talk coherently! At least communicate coherently!
Explain the dire situation. NOT the fiscal cliff, the COLLAPSE OF OUR SOCIETY IN A FEW YEARS if we don’t wake the hell up and deal with this.
We’ve got to fight this to the end! Come hell or high water, win, lose or draw, we’ve got to fight this to the end.
We do not surrender our liberty to a bunch of union thugs and left-wing groups!
We do not surrender our liberty to a bunch of incompetent Republican Party holders.
We FIGHT for our liberty!
It belongs to us and that’s exactly what the founding fathers would want.
