This is the second time in a month one of his sycophants have done this. They think if they leave "under God" out enough times that people will eventually stop complaining, and once again they will change the language and culture. It's the concept of the Overton window.
Good, a god shouldn't be in the Pledge of Allegiance anyway. The government shouldn't be endorsing and promoting any religious view. Let the free marketplace of ideas debate the question of a god, leave the government out of it.
You're right on Jerome. Every time the Government and religion gets together it results in tyranny, and those who really worship God according to dictates of their conscience LOSE!
We are on the verge of it right now and prophecy tells us that it will happen again just as it did in the dark ages. Tyranny is what brought on the reformation, when the church controlled what the people believed under threat of punishment, including death in a hundred different ways!!!

ANY man who has the hubris to call himself REVEREND is committing a sin against GOD. The word "reverend" is found ONCE in the Bible, in Psalms 111: 9.

Venal men have usurped this word which refers to a quality ONLY GOD can possess. In the black community that spawned the likes of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, et.al., it is common for con men to go the courthouse and legally change their first name to "Reverend". You'll find streets in the hood where every other mailbox is "Reverend" So-And-So. I suspect God will be discussing this theft of title, power, and holiness with each of them, soon.
