Funniest is to watch Fat Ed's stages of denial...first he's sating there are a lot of absentee ballots to count.

Then, when the commie candidate actually concedes, you see the realization that the Libs aren't going to be able to steal the election cross over Fat Ed's face -- priceless.

Why does Debbie Blabbermouth Schultz use so many words to say nothing at all?

How about that fist with the red star the protesters are using now. Not even trying to hide the fact that they're commies.

When one knows what to look for when following the msm's reporting on any particular story, each network's spin is glaringly apparent. I like to surf around on large events like last night's just to get a laugh. It no longer upsets me because it is so transparent. That goes for ALL of the networks. My only concern is for their target, the uninformed, dedicated channel watcher that uses one network as their only source. Ignorance is not bliss when your Nation at risk.

They need to make one with Obama's gaffes...or Freudian slips of the tongue.

Just imagine how they would act if Obama lost in November. That reason alone is good enough for me to vote for Romney.

For once the Dems got it right and Gov Walker is out. Wait, the Dems lost, never mind. Sorry Fat Ed, things will be better soon. No, they will not.

Right now the Democrats sound like Husseins propoganda ministry saying that Iraq was winning the war against the great satan when the US tanks were rolling in the streets. This is another Hussein and another propoganda machine claiming they are beating the great satan. Yet, it is all the same lies.

There's an old Russian saying that goes, "don't count you Chechens before they fled", too, but who's counting?

My favorite Russian expression is "A fish rots from the head." You know, like the current regime.

I'm not understanding your point. Are you saying we should reach out to the unions or are you jabbing at Palin for not speaking out against them?

K-Bob
K-Bob

I'm thinking it was smart for Palin (who's husband is or was a union member, and so would be her Dad, I believe), to reach out to the rank and file.

Tons of rank-and-file union members are conservative to the core. They just keep their mouths shut about it in the union meetings and at work. She knows this, and so do the idiot union heads and goons, which is why they fought against the Wisconsin law so hard--it exposes them for what they are.

I'd love to know how many union members voted for Walker. Exit interviews will never show that, since no one in their right mind would reveal that vote to their union brothers.

K-Bob
K-Bob

Oh, yeah, I see what you mean. You are correct, as far as folks who are just one one side or the other. But the union bosses exert a HUGE amount of influence on the "middle." It's those folks who need to wake up and push back against the entrenched Democrat control over everything union.

kong1967
kong1967

Sorry, G-d gave me a tongue but He didn't give me the gift of clarity or eloquence, lol.

I understand that there are a lot of conservatives in unions that don't agree with what the union leaders do, and you said it is wise for Palin to reach out to them (the union members). My point was to say that those people in the unions would already be against the unions so why is it important to reach out to them? Wouldn't they be on Palin's (our) side already? I mean, wouldn't they already know that the unions are bankrupting states and not feel like we are against them (the workers) just because we are against the unions?

K-Bob
K-Bob

I'm having trouble parsing that. Who is "them"? The Palins or the unions?

K-Bob
K-Bob

About the only unions I know of where the average member is more leftist than conservative is teachers' unions.

The rest, especially coal miners, are pro "solidarity," like Lech Walesa: brothers in the union, conservative anti-communists at home.

Nukeman60
Nukeman60

I was a 20 year veteran of the Union IBEW. I had no choice, if I wanted to run a Nuclear power plant. You join the Union to get your job. There are far more union members that disagree with the union leadership, than there are those that agree with them. The problem is the leaders are the vocal ones and the rank and file are told to shut up, sit down or your out.

That is starting to change and the Unions (leadership) are starting to get scared. Look for more people turning like the ones did in Wisconsin who stopped paying their Union dues when it was no longer forced out of their paychecks. When they realize that they can buck the bosses without losing their livelyhood, then all H E double hockey sticks will break loose, you can count on that.

kong1967
kong1967

Maybe, but wouldn't someone who is against the union vote against them in the election anyway? That is, as long as it's not an open vote like the Democrats want to make into law.

Someone, ANYONE, go out and find Al Sharpton some skillets.

I am so jubilant about the results in Wisconsin and it gives me immense satisfaction because those people who would rather believe a lie than to stand up for the truth have been exposed as fools. I am reminded, "As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly." (Proverbs 26:11)

Of course, my exuberance is short lived because there is much work to be done between now and November. Though my location hinders my ability to attend rallies in support of candidates in my home state, I will be providing financial support to those men and women who present a strong resolve to save our country from financial ruin and from tyranny that has gripped our nation.

Where money does not help then I will do the next best thing....pray! It is our duty as citizens and patriots to be mindful of those sacrifices given in support for our way of life.

I am sure there is no need to remind everyone what day this is.

To think that our Declaration of Independence and Constitution was not inspired by God is to show an intelligence lacking in imagination, personal attributes short of humility and a soul lacking compassion. Those documents have been imbued by our creator with those attributes.

I still can't stomach watching Al Sharpton, even for a few seconds. The man should have gone to jail for what he did in the Tawana Brawley. But it is sooooo very sweet to watch these thugs eat their words. Time to make them eat something else in November.

The Brawley incident was bad enough, but no one died. The real crime that should have been prosecuted was what Rev Al incited at Freddie’s Fashion Mart, body count of 8!

I'm here in my laboratory theorizing about the beloved Open Thread via thought experiment.

If I pull on it, will this entire site unravel, cause a cascading effect, thereby ripping a hole in the fabric of the internet?

Enquiring minds want to know. So do I.

I wonder how much all that free publicity from MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN was worth/ Not to mention all the newspapers. Priceless, no?

The voters already voted Walker in. That they had to do it a second time because dems and unions didn't like what he did, was a horrible waste of time, money and destroyed public property. Unions suck. We hit the public sector unions where they live...right where the public sector unions began, in 1959. They are relics of a bygone era. Not needed, not wanted, and do much more harm than good.

Public Sector Unions: Hey you taxpayers! You're going to pay us much more than you make in the private sector. We're also going to get 4 times the benefits you do, on your dime.

Taxpayers: Like h*ll you are! Take a hike!

This is a marvelous victory for Governor Walker and a smack down of the radical left in the country...and we owe it all to the people of Wisconsin who took the trouble to go out and vote.

Since we're in mock mode - does anyone else find it hilarious that our POTUS keeps referring to sons he doesn't reportedly have??? I think this composite stuff he's into is messing with his already addled brain.

OK, my blood started boiling there for obvious reasons, but what an idiot. My son is not his. I wonder how his daughters feel being mentioned only when he's talking about killing babies?

That was my first thought -- I wonder if the Romney campaign knows something that they're saving for the right time, and the Oblamer camp knows that they know.

Then Oblamer can come out and say "what, I told you I had another family"

I do believe that liberals have grossly underestimated the grass roots efforts employed by conservatives in WI. I heard it was massive and just annihilated the efforts of liberals. I bet the stock in Depends went through the roof last night and this morning.

Rachel Maddow in the first cut of this video is flapping her jaw about voters in states governed by republicans cannot wait until the next election to undo what they have done, they want these politicians and their main priorities out and they want them out now.

I can't wait until the next election to undo what idiots like Maddow have done.I want these politicians out and I want them out NOW.
