actually i was @ a University of Iowa event that Newt was speaking @ that got mic checked, though i must say the protesters were dealt with much less spectacularly

Could you imagine if you or I threw a Glitter Bomb at Obama? Could you imagine if you threw a glitter bomb at Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi or Barbra Fox? These people should be sent to an insane asylum and evaluated for social competency. It should be mandatory.

This is no joke people one of these times it is going to be acid or something. Did you see Santorum jump. Did you see the video when the protesters came behind Newt and how he jumped? This is assault and if I were the candidates who already have lawyers working for them I would press assault charges on them. An assault charge is a Violent Crim. Three of them they would never be able to vote again. Good riddance

NO. I as a Conservative am not going to be throwing glitter on anybody to make a statement. How ridiculous. It’s just another sideshow to distract from the messaage that Santorum is delivering. A message of TRUTH and HOPE.

The PC crowd would normally think using glitter would be insensitive to the gay community… oh but not if the gay community is doing it… Who would take these people seriously? It’s like PETA.

We will always have these kinds of folks in a free society. The trick is to defeat them, while ignoring their attempts to draw attention to themselves. Our superior ability to defend ourselves, in general, would be wasted on these pathetic losers.

Your brother suffers from Palin Derangement Syndrome. I know a couple of folks that have it, too. The amount of energy and anger the put into it is so far out of proportion. It’s like trying to kill a mosquito with an howitzer. Completely illogical.

Unfortunately, that’s pretty much how liberals are programmed to react to any sort of mental challenge: with anger and hatred. They are emotional primitives, and their entire political argument seems to be driven by nothing but that: emotion. Whenever you challenge their position, especially when it is done in a way that they know they lack the intellect to challenge, they automatically become angry; some even resort to bullying, if they think they can, and others actually become violent. If you want to see a society ruled by the left, take a look at any “Occupy” mob/tent city.

That’s not liberalism, those are the lefties who wear their party like a football jersey. Their opinions are given to them from their talking points websites. They have no ability to have a rational discussion. I’ve seen righties who cannot even speak about some issues because they have their minds made up as well. Once you stop considering other people’s views, you don’t really become a player anymore, you are just a token for your party.

Modern activists are horribly self-centered. At premier Ivy League colleges, they organize activist groups that are not about any particular cause, just about “attending protests” and “getting your voice heard.” They substitute the method for the message, as though getting arrested automatically made you a civic hero like Martin Luther King, Jr. Ignorance.

“Help! Help! I’m being repressed! Did you see him repressing me? You saw him, didn’t you?”

I know about Ivy League colleges because I studied at one for several years. Great education, especially if you are critical of everything you hear, including the professors’ opinions. Since most professors are liberal or communist, that means rationally critiquing what they say, too. That doesn’t mean everything they say is wrong; but it does mean a less critical mind may be easily led to particular beliefs. And standing up for minority beliefs (like conservative political or social views) in the face of “multicultural” and “tolerant” campus activists takes a LOT of courage.

Reminds me of the Danny Bonaduce video clip, showing a situation where some idiot jumped on Bonaduce, who shrugged the guy off of his shoulders, resulting in the guy losing his front teeth. Bonaduce was sued for battery, and maybe Fox, too, but evidently the thing was settled. Bonaduce was never charged with any crime. It was obviously self defense.
