Because Santorum is the most anti gay.
- Anonymous
How do you write that?
A WaPo report on Santorum in January described what transpired when one of his staffers who was gay was outed (I believe that is what happened).
Santorum made it crystal clear that he fully supported the individual and did not want him to resign.
More recently, there was an article in which Santorum was asked how he would respond if his son told him that he was gay.
He responded by saying that he would love his son just as much the minute after he told him he was gay as he did before he told him he was gay.
There is simply no evidence that Santorum has any personal animosity towards gays and lesbians.
Santorum’s position is that he supports traditional marriage, which is the same position held by the President.
Santorum also holds the view that the Supreme Court incorrectly decided the case finding a right of privacy which allowed the Court to declare the Texas anti-sodomy law as being unconstitutional.
He believes there is no right of privacy in the Constitution and the question of whether sexual behavior should be subject to criminal sanction is a matter for the individual State legislatures to decide.
- Anonymous
Santorum’s history is the most socially conservative of who remains. He has been caught in the past saying (and writing in one of his books) with conviction that women should be at home with their children and traditional marriage should be the only one recognized. No one believes Obama or Romney actually believe what they are saying when it comes to gay marriage. People can see the authenticity behind Rick and the BS behind BHO and Mitt. Everyone takes the same position on gay marriage because of the current day breakdown in the polls.

Opposing gay marriage is not the same as anti-gay. Not that I actually expect anybody on the left to even attempt to understand let alone succeed in grasping that concept. What Santorum stands for is the right of religious communities to protect and defend their own traditions. How homosexuals have come to the conclusion that they should have the exclusive right to trample all over the traditions of others is beyond me. Homosexuals generally seem to refuse to respect the rights, traditions, and culture of Christians while demanding arbitrary rights to the same traditions and culture that they deny to the people that have a legitimate claim to them.

200 hundred years of trying to self govern and when you DRIFT away from the truth you get people like these kids that are self centered and most disrespectful -though thinking they are operating under “freedom” but ignorant and lost…Santorum didn’t seem to upset by it! Keep going forward Rick!

Could you imagine if you or I threw a Glitter Bomb at Obama? Could you imagine if you threw a glitter bomb at Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi or Barbra Fox? These people should be sent to an insane asylum and evaluated for social competency. It should be mandatory.
This is no joke people one of these times it is going to be acid or something. Did you see Santorum jump. Did you see the video when the protesters came behind Newt and how he jumped? This is assault and if I were the candidates who already have lawyers working for them I would press assault charges on them. An assault charge is a Violent Crim. Three of them they would never be able to vote again. Good riddance
- Anonymous
Throwing glitter is just the beginning. This is going to get more violent as time goes on. They need to put a stop to this now. They need to make an example out of these people. It is just the matter of time before someone ells wants to be original and take it to the next level. Then what would we do with a scared or hurt or dead candidate. If I was there I would be begging the police for 5 minutes alone with these creatures. Just five minutes. I guarantee they would never ever do such a thing again.

Seems like just a matter of time before conservatives get fed-up with being assaulted and just start fighting back…physically. These wussy lefties are the type that cry and run the first time someone actually stands up to them.

Where is the courage. I only hope if I saw 12 Black Panthers caring clubs I would have the courage to walk right past them. If they beat me to death it would be on them not me. Don’t we have courage anymore. I hope I would look at them right in the eye as I walked right past them too. Of course I would say a prayer before, I would know the danger. I don’t have a wife and my Son is almost 20. If I had a family or someone to care about it would be different. For me that is not the case. I only hope I can portray such courage before I die. I would rather die for something than for nothing. That would be dying for something.
Now: am I saying I would for sure do such a thing. I don’t know I would have to presented with the opportunity to do so. I hope I would do what is right. I hope, I would have the courage to do so. Because for me after the fact If I let them bully me. I would not feel bad about it the rest of my life. Fear only goes mortal deep. Something’s gnaw on a man worse than dying, That would be one of those things.

OWS and the gay movement are attacking who they think is the threat. Santorum has taken the strongest stance on it so far by stating that a return to the nuclear family is what is required to ‘fix’ America.
He’s right on that point.
..and that’s why they are ‘attacking’.
Kudos to the police and security who were on the situation in one second.
Also, am I the only one that finds this not only insulting and immature that a ‘glitter bomb’ would change someone’s mind, but the fact that this is a serious security problem? If we are willing to let our candidates be ‘doused’ by unknown powdery, gritty, substances, it is only a matter of time before this is an ‘acid’ or other biochemical attack.

Liberalism really is a form of mental illness.
When I was defending Sarah Palin to my brother on the phone his rage was so overwhelming it was scary. He was enraged. I can’t think of any other word to describe how he reacted to every point made in response to him. He just got more and more enraged.
Liberals have been so programmed to think they’re fighting hate that they don’t see how everything they’ve been told was designed to bring out the hate in them. They don’t see it.
- Anonymous
Liberalism is a mental illness.
Your brother suffers from Palin Derangement Syndrome. I know a couple of folks that have it, too. The amount of energy and anger the put into it is so far out of proportion. It’s like trying to kill a mosquito with an howitzer. Completely illogical.
- Anonymous
It is one thing to disagree with things she has said and done, but when people are literally getting angry over the discussion as if Palin had just run over their dog, it reeks of conditioning.
- Anonymous
I have trouble understanding the Palin Derangement Syndrome. One guy I know is very smart, engineer by training and career. He is a bit more liberal than I am. He is very reasonable, too. But bring up Sarah and he freaks out.
- Anonymous
Yeah, I’m not even a fan of Palin but I don’t get bent out of shape about it. I think she poses a threat to a lot of the social arenas the liberals have tried to conquer in the past. They want women to be independent and strong and here comes Palin personifying that but with a staunch conservative streak. She hunts, she runs for mayor/gov/VP not senate/congress, she takes risks, she isn’t afraid to go against the grain, she’s pro-life. She is admirable and an inspiration I’m sure to tons of Americans.
If your friend is a conservative, I wonder if he blames her for drowning McCain’s presidential run. Maybe that is where his anger comes from. For the liberals, I think that she just stands proudly in their face and doesn’t care what they have to say, and that is what infuriates them.
- Anonymous
Nah, I wish my friend was a real conservative but he bought into that whole hope and change crappola.
- Anonymous
Weird. My independent friends who did that are pretty pissed at BHO now. They know they were duped and fell for it once.
- http://profile.yahoo.com/FEXWAHGKQUXPAVSWVAAUBETGHU Rebecca
Yeah, what really bewildered and disappointed me was how many self-professed feminists and women’s right activists derided, slandered, and hated Palin. She was doing everything they said women should be able to do, everything they respected, except that her political and social views were conservative. Ergo, she’s not a real woman, and she’s destructive to America, because she’s presenting a false front, an elaborately sneaky back-door way to reintroduce the oppression of women. ??What??
Reminds me too of what people said of Margaret Thatcher, that she was really a man wearing a skirt. Had she been liberal in her politics, she’d've been a hero; but then, I doubt she would have helped end Communism in Europe in that case.
- Anonymous
Yeah it’s like NOW or the NAACP and so many other organizations that started with a great idea but now are hypocrites who just stand as a front for a political party.
- http://profile.yahoo.com/FEXWAHGKQUXPAVSWVAAUBETGHU Rebecca
“Kill a mosquito with an howitzer.” Reminds me of a Monty Python sketch, I think from their third season. Two Australian hunters head out with machine guns and bazookas for mosquito hunts. “I love animals. That’s why I like to kill ‘em!” “Some people ask why we don’t use fly spray. Well, where’s the sport in that?!”
- Anonymous
Just read about this very thought the other day…
- http://black-avenger-1.livejournal.com/profile VirusX
Unfortunately, that’s pretty much how liberals are programmed to react to any sort of mental challenge: with anger and hatred. They are emotional primitives, and their entire political argument seems to be driven by nothing but that: emotion. Whenever you challenge their position, especially when it is done in a way that they know they lack the intellect to challenge, they automatically become angry; some even resort to bullying, if they think they can, and others actually become violent. If you want to see a society ruled by the left, take a look at any “Occupy” mob/tent city.

That’s not liberalism, those are the lefties who wear their party like a football jersey. Their opinions are given to them from their talking points websites. They have no ability to have a rational discussion. I’ve seen righties who cannot even speak about some issues because they have their minds made up as well. Once you stop considering other people’s views, you don’t really become a player anymore, you are just a token for your party.

I don’t know about them being OCW, at all. Where was that said?
In any event, while I would most certainly be called everything from an Uncle Tom, to a self-hating black man, to a right-wing warmonger to, finally, a “homophobe”, I don’t think I would’ve been all that steamed. Just relax, RS, and switch to tea. I recommend vanilla caramel, or french vanilla, from Bigelow. Me, I would’ve seized that as an opportunity to actually be seen talking to those guys.
I’d calm them down, and let them talk to me, directly. If they could address their problem with me articulately, then good for them. If not, then that would just make them, and whomever they represented look inarticulate and stupid. I’ve got no problem with that. In any event, I would be articulate and fair in my criticism of their positions, and the positions of politicians they support. I would let them know that the only personal aspect to my position is my personal conviction, and that my personal conviction comes from my theological position. If they criticize that, I’d tell them that’s their Constitutional right to do so, but I’d also remind them that there are others that would treat their dissent and disobedience with far more harshness, then go as far as to name islam and it’s policies toward people like them. If they expressed a hatred toward theology and religion, in general, I’d tell them that my faith is my personal conviction, just as whatever they hold to is their own, and that if my personal conviction should be considered destructive, then I could just as easily make the same declaration of their’s, and call for it’s destruction, and their persecution.
I’d also go into the fact that if I was president, I’d get the federal government out of the marriage business. I would leave it to the states, and individual churches. If your state approves that, then gays could get “married”, there. If a church in that state didn’t approve of it, then they couldn’t be forced to go along with that, due to the 1st Amendment, and the principles of the Separation of Church and State.
http://www.usconstitution.net/jeffwall.html
Just as I would not permit private citizens to be harassed, if they refused to be photographers, or participate in these events. Businesses are free to not do business, or choose with whom they do business. When states vote to go that way, that’s the state’s business, and no other state is bound by their law.
However, when you have gays that launch campaigns of assaults against churches…
http://rightwingnews.com/mt331/2008/11/militant_homosexuals_attack_ch.php
…assault little old women for publicly disagreeing with them…
…and taper off by harassing blacks in racist attack campaigns…
http://www.lifesitenews.com/news/archive/ldn/2008/nov/08111212
…it doesn’t help their case, and it certainly doesn’t win a lot of people over to their side.

Rick Santorum is a homophobe? Because he doesn’t agree with the gay lifestyle does not mean he is AFRAID of gays. It means he’s a man of principle who stands for his beliefs. If that makes him a homophobe, these people are moralaphobic, Christaphobes.

Using the term “homophobe” categorizes the accused as mentally ill, incapable of reason in this matter, or of a healthy life. It pathologizes criticism of particular choices (imagine calling someone an alcoholaphobe, or a smokaphobe), which indicates the need for therapy and perhaps medication (to take care of that anti-gay rage, terror, and hysteria we’re all feeling). This is really a therapeutic (medical) cover for re-education, like Soviet and Chinese people were sent to when their views did not support the state position.

I really doubt Rick Santorum has major concerns about what gay people do with their private parts, and neither do I, as long as they keep it to themselves. I don’t

They don’t need to be allowed to teach their unhealthy behaviors to our children in our schools. Science, evidence and prudence, not sentiment, agenda pressure, and politics should determine policy.
CDC reports, clinical medicine, police reports all show the unhealthy high risk behaviors and lifestyle for what it really is.
- Trust1TG
Research studies published in science and mental health journals show the high incidence of addiction, depression, violence and disease that are correlated with same-sex attraction, behaviors and relationships. Spending an afternoon at the NIH and CDC websites is eye-opening.
It is difficult to understand why the US funds AIDS treatment with one hand, while promoting sexual orientations and activities that cause a 44 times greater increase the incidence of AIDS and the highest risk of all other STDs according to the latest CDC report. This is an example of liberal disconnect with reality.
- Trust1TG
Another case in point – the US funds abortion in the US and foreign countries even though it has been correlated with breast cancer, mental health problems by numerous studies.
- http://profile.yahoo.com/FEXWAHGKQUXPAVSWVAAUBETGHU Rebecca
Uganda (in Africa) had a policy of abstinence before marriage and monogamy within marriage, that had greatly reduced the new incidence of HIV/AIDS infections in that country. Uganda was seen as a success story in Africa, and it’s program was eyed by other countries for imitation. Then the U.S. government threatened to withdraw aid to their country unless they stopped teaching chastity (the abstinence/monogamy program) and started to teach people that condoms were the way to prevent the spread of AIDS. Uganda gave in, and their HIV/AIDS rates of infection are climbing again. So American sexual myths are affecting the health of Africans, and we are emphasizing unhealthy “safe sex” practices out of some mistaken notion that controlling sexual behaviors stifles the individual and their freedom to control their own bodies. *face palm* Then we’re told we’re not spending enough money to solve the HIV/AIDS problem in Africa.

OK, who is the wise guy who “liked” this video? There is a troll in our midst.
I was wondering when the next glitter-bomb would occur; it’s been awhile. And now it’s accompanied by a mic check. Great.
Well, at least these Tutti-Fruitis aren’t throwing clusters of ninja stars at anybody…yet.

What was probably a Ron Paul voter.

What a brilliant tactic! Be an A-hole, glitter bomb a candidate, mic check (idiots), then say stupid crap and have videographers record it all… then I guess post it to Youtube so everyone can see how repressed you were.
Yeah OWS, that’ll certainly endear your ridiculous cause to Americans. Be a martyr, get arrested for something that stupid. Good call. Can’t go get a job but you and your stupid ilk have time to harass people and endanger others. Great plan.
When you get your free call in jail, call princess pelosi… she might give a rip. Your parents must be so proud of you. Your grandparents must be thrilled to see you on TV. Poor tender snowflakes… 99% of us despise your nonsense. You’re just like the Tea Party… yeah right.
This is America. The land of the free and home of the brave. Not the land of the stupid and home of the ignorant. Go back to your parent’s basement and stay there.

Modern activists are horribly self-centered. At premier Ivy League colleges, they organize activist groups that are not about any particular cause, just about “attending protests” and “getting your voice heard.” They substitute the method for the message, as though getting arrested automatically made you a civic hero like Martin Luther King, Jr. Ignorance.
“Help! Help! I’m being repressed! Did you see him repressing me? You saw him, didn’t you?”

Lol…
I always think of Monty Python and the Holy Grail… when Arthur is talking to the peasants… and the “represses” the guy… “Help! I’m being repressed! See the violence inherent in the system!”
- http://profile.yahoo.com/FEXWAHGKQUXPAVSWVAAUBETGHU Rebecca
I know about Ivy League colleges because I studied at one for several years. Great education, especially if you are critical of everything you hear, including the professors’ opinions. Since most professors are liberal or communist, that means rationally critiquing what they say, too. That doesn’t mean everything they say is wrong; but it does mean a less critical mind may be easily led to particular beliefs. And standing up for minority beliefs (like conservative political or social views) in the face of “multicultural” and “tolerant” campus activists takes a LOT of courage.

These people are disgusting! The OWS movement is funded by radical socialist organizations and thug union leaders directly tied to anti-American George Soros. This is a fight against American values, plain and simple. The DOInjustice is going after states who try to install voter ID laws, suing them for political reasons, even though you need an ID to get welfare, get on a plane, open a bank account, and for just about anything else. There is a fight for the soul of this country, and we must do everything in our power, including monetarily, to fight this evil. Because the only other option is centralized government power.

It is time we all learn what, in your jurisdiction, justifies self defense. In Maryland, if you lay a finger on someone in public and then they pop you in the nose, that is self defense and not illegal.
- K-Bob
Reminds me of the Danny Bonaduce video clip, showing a situation where some idiot jumped on Bonaduce, who shrugged the guy off of his shoulders, resulting in the guy losing his front teeth. Bonaduce was sued for battery, and maybe Fox, too, but evidently the thing was settled. Bonaduce was never charged with any crime. It was obviously self defense.
The idiot who jumped on Bonaduce had hoped to be a star. Now he’s nobody.

In Oklahoma, if someone comes up to you in a “menacing” way, causing you to fear for your life…you can just shoot them.
It is considered self defense.

The more and more these Soros/Obama footsoldiers do these kind of deeds my hatred for them grows greater. I wonder if they will go to a mosque, black inner city and pull this kind of shenanigan? I dare them, triple dare them.

The leftists will be using tactics like this…and worse…as the election draws near.
Soros is predicting that the occupoopers will be rioting in the streets.
Of course they will. For some reason, the little ‘like’ buttons are not working for me.

If they were, I would be making a lot of likes on these great comments.

I wonder if Michael Moore and more and more will be among them.

He was there in New York where the OWS thing started. Showing his solidarity. What do people like him, and the Hollywood stars also there, know about “the masses?” The term is an abstraction, like the fashionable affection for rural farmers and country people living in sustainable harmony with the land, but which actually covers up disgust and contempt for the people who live there, because they’re “too stupid” to know their own best interests. “Here,” they say, “let me show you what your best interests are. Better yet, just don’t vote except the way I tell you. Much simpler that way.”

These wanna-be brown-shirt OWS soros employee’s are punks and plain stupid. They are “useful idiots”. They don’t realize that when ( OWS) is no longer of any use to the elites the OWS will suffer the same consequence, we all will be forced to endure, under the obama dictatorship.
PS
I hope Santorum becomes the next president and puts the OWS punks in jail. - Anonymous
Too bad someone there didn’t punch him out. A bloody nose, or a few less teeth, might have taught him to play nice in the future.
- http://profile.yahoo.com/FEXWAHGKQUXPAVSWVAAUBETGHU Rebecca
Ever seen “Doctor Zhivago”? Pasha, the young idealist revolutionary, gets a hideous scar on his face during a protest march he participated in. It cemented his hostility toward the Tsar and the Imperial system. Scars and injuries are not the way to change minds, no matter how satisfying it may feel in the short run.
- Anonymous
One fictional incident from Hollywood does not equal reality. Did you never punch out a bully when you were a kid? The only reason it would fail to end the problem would be if the bully was a genuine psycho or if you didn’t punch hard enough.
There is a vast difference between a bully and a revolutionary. The punk who glittered Santorum is a juvenile mind trying to make himself feel important. A punch in the nose would be the perfect response. It hurts, it’s scary if it’s never happened to you before, and it doesn’t do any permanent damage. OK, maybe knocking out teeth is a bit much for this offense, but the nose, or a good stiff punch to the solar plexus would do wonders for the punk’s attitude.

Just hearing the word homophobe infuriates me. Should we just say that we are of the opinion that same sex marriage violates the laws of nature? Maybe that would be acceptable.
- http://profile.yahoo.com/FEXWAHGKQUXPAVSWVAAUBETGHU Rebecca
Well, you get people who say that “it occurs naturally, so it is a part of nature.” (That doesn’t explain why so many people abort Down’s Syndrome babies when they learn of their existence via amniocentesis….) But I find it so odd that people who support the theory of evolution are opposed to classifying a “genetic” factor of their existence as a mutation. In other words, while homosexual attraction may be genetic, it does not lead to perpetuation of the species. The fact that many same-sex couples opt for artificial insemination, indicates the ability of the mind and the will to overcome natural laws. So, why not indicating the ability of the mind and the will to control their response to particular impulses?
One might as well say that men shouldn’t be punished for rape because their impulses lead to that.

Get ready guys, this is just a preview. I have heard that Sorooooos the financer of these guys is forecasting violence all over US, America, and Europe from his paid Occupy crowds. Be vigilant and be prepared for what Sorus is preparing for all of us. If only people are prepared to counter what these guys are planning, instead of just standing as spectators doing nothing. It might be better for those people to drown the occupiers, voices with their own tactics. I remembered the Conservative bloggers standing up against them and having done it successfully in the past.
