This ad is basically saying that democrats and people with liberal views can be misogynist too; they can use derogatory words for women and create hostile working environments for women, just like republicans. So the most you can get from this ad is that both parties are equally guilty. Except the phrase "the republican war on women" is in response to legislation that republicans are actively passing restricting the rights of women i.e. making it legal to impose your moral views about contraception on those you employ, forcing doctors to provide medically INACCURATE information to women in an attempt to dissuade them from undergoing a legal medical procedure, refusing to pass the VAWA, etc.
It's about time that the public knew about Obama's "all boy's club," so that they are much more informed to vote for . . . um . . . Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, or Newt Gingrich . . . ?
Sorry, but this is softball compared to the way the Left plays. When are the RNC and/or Conservatives in general going to grow a pair and REALLY stand up to the Left?
Does anyone else have a problem with the fact that these turds think that women who are public figures deserve less respect than a private citizen?
It's a start. But until the RNC thugs start showing Sarah Palin, Jan Brewer, etc. some respect, I'm not buying it. And I'm not donating. Both parties have skeletons in their closets.
I guess my comment on this is that it's not just Barry or Bill Maher who's beatin' up on women - it's the entire hypocrisy of the Left that needs to be in the headline. Barry is the current leader but the entire liberal mindset needs to be exposed for its lying, hypocritical, mean-spirited nature. Once the entire philosophy of the left is revealed and spotlighted, eyes will be opened & people will start to dissect the Left on their own & come to the conclusion that so many have come to...
I want Barry out as much as anyone, but I really want the liberal mindset defeated more. Because that's where the antagonist of freedom really lies.
Must have missed something. Besides claims (unsubstantiated) about a White House environment hostile to women, I saw no attack on women. I saw no one limiting my access to birthcontrol, no one redefining rape, no one telling me when I had to have a child.
The moral of the story is if you turn your cause and your fight over to a politician to champion for their political gain, you trade a perceived master for a real one.
Government cannot tell you to do or not do anything unless you willingly relinquish your rights to them in the first place.

On college campuses, sterilization will become the Politically Correct thing to do - promoted as an unselfish act to prevent over-population and global warming...and it will become a fad with impressionable young people.
Using Alinsky tactics, those who do not comply with this 'politically correct position' will be called 'Breeders' and will be ridiculed and marginalized, eventually, if the pattern holds, dissenters from the PC line will be prosecuted or denied services.
If anything, we have learned that those who disagree or dare to present evidence to contradict the PC lines, are treated very badly by leftists.

How about an AD that show Obama's "carbon footprint" as American's struggle with plus $4 gasoline. Obama, the USAF and the SS fly equipment, personnel all over the Nation for his daily propaganda mission. Obama and crew have to use 100,000 gallions of fuel on average a day.
Ouch....What nobody talks about is that Obama has had the greatest fall in American History..They can talk tough now but he won a landslide...lost the House...If he loses the Senate and WH..He is worse than Carter
This ad seems to be mistitled - it really doesn't address O's war on women as much as it addresses Maher's war on women. Some anti-women policy facts about O would have been useful. And when I saw that they also managed to use a clip with their boy Mitt in it, I was sure glad I stopped contributing to the RNC.
you might want to hold back a bit until when, or if, you figure out that the RNC is simply the right wing of the big government Progressive movement dedicated to stripping you of your freedoms.

The more they talk, the more we see that their words and actions don't jive. The best thing for conservatism is to encourage libs to explain their ideology (aka, obama's 2008 campaign versus his actions the last 3.5 years)...

The 3 evil men (Soros, Podesta and Axelrod) use Obama for there trick wording of the truth. The GOP needs to layout the trick words in the new Obama Dictionary/Thesaurus "necessarily"...."underrepresented" and so forth. Code words for the Obama agenda. I disagree it's absolutely great ad. Like it our not, most Conservatives(including me) find identity politics distasteful, because the none racist,bigoted among us (most of us) like to see people as individuals BUT this ad was fair adn accurate. To say the Maher, is excused because hes a non funny (usually, used to be better but anyway) comedian even though he intently discussed political issues in detail on his show and rush has never been elected to any office ever is obscene. One more, Rush's insults, can at least be said on normal tv, although harshly, what he call Palin can't even be pronounced by the Broadcasters (although someone should just once) That policy focus should continue BUT LIBERALS ARE MASTERS AT SPINNING any legit policy debate into "War on..........." when they only attack before the staus quo was a mandate of indvidual Americans(obamcare) and subsequent regs.

Sorry, I don't agree that this is a great ad. I think the title is wrong compared to the content of the ad. Where was the RNC when Sarah was treated so badly? Zip, nada, nothing. Where was their support for Bachmann?
Frankly, as a woman, I'm already sick of this new approach about women, it's just pandering for votes. Reproductive rights????? Are women so stupid they can't figure out how not to get pregnant or how to get contraception if they choose to use it?
I think there is hypocrisy on both sides. Sorry, RNC, I'm not buying it.

It's not that women are stupid, it's that they don't have access to the information or resources. Where are women supposed to learn how not to get pregnant if their parents don't talk to them about it and the government funds abstinence only programs in school, which refuse to talk about contraception options? Where are they supposed to get contraception if pharmacies are allowed to refuse to fill contraceptive prescriptions if the pharmacist is morally opposed to birth control? Or if they have to choose between paying for their birth control versus paying their electric bill?
This ad isn't about Palin or about defending women this is about getting Obama out of the White House and showing who he surrounds himself with.
I like the ad because it points out the hypocrisy of the left when it comes to their fake outrage over Limbaugh's comments. I also agree with you that the RNC never came to Palin's defense or Bachmann's either.
However, the RNC did not come forward with "fake" anger and pretend to be so offended by what the left and the media was saying about them. I don't think that's so much of a "we don't care" lack of response, but rather a "we're used to this type of slander bullcrap". They didn't come to Bush's defense, either, when he was being called Hitler and a murderer. We all know how the left has no class and it speaks for itself.

The polls are already on the Repub side if the question is asked straight up (acccording to NYT/CBS poll that was buried on page 14 lol) Problem is in our media environment, if the narrative takes hold that GOP is trying to ban Birth Control especially among the mushy middle who don't pay much attention till the end, that's bad. They're trying (partially succesfully) to do the same to Latino's. The GOP must fight back vigorously and then change the subject to their message and their turf on issues.

Axelrod says Maher's words are "different"? No they're vulgar and obscene. On a separate thread some people thought it was fine for rappers to talk like this. Do you then think it's ok for Maher to call Gov. Sarah Palin the "c" word? You can't be on both sides of the fence. Either you think it's OK or you don't. I have to ask people-how would you feel if someone was talking about your wife, mother, grandmother, sister, niece, daughter or a friend like that.
I like it, but why aren't these ads all over the net, Fox News, emails, social media etc. We must defeat this fraud in November.

Where were the suddenly concerned RNC/gop establishment when these vulgar, insulting and wrongly accused statements were being made?...no where to be found, that's where.
Now that is all of a sudden calling a conservative woman vulgar names is a news item, the RNC/gope have come out from under the woodwork and fawned outrage.
That is not only disingenuous, but it's insulting and they make me sick.
I don't think it shows them with fake outrage. The point wasn't to cry over the name calling against conservative women, but to show that Obama and the libs are hypocrits when they claim they were outraged over Rush's comments.
The RNC doesn't need to complain about the name calling the left does because the low class behavior speaks for itself. They didn't defend Bush when he was being called Hitler, either. Bush didn't even complain. Let the left portray themselves as the hateful trash they are.
I think we need to focus on the present here and the real enemy to this nation. BO is trying to change the narrative and take our focus off of his systematic and UNconstitutional dismantling of our country. The election and hellthcare are the at the heart of this issue. As our liberty and freedoms are eroding away, we are nit picking and standing on principle.
