Romney: “Our economy runs on freedom; it doesn’t run on government, it runs on freedom!”

This clip is a two-parter. First, Romney rips Obama for removing the work requirement from the bipartisan welfare reform, emphasizing how much it helped get people back to work, saying that he will ensure that the work is a part of welfare reform going forward just as he did in Massachusetts. He also vowed to “end a culture of dependency and restore a culture of good hard work.”

The second part is excellent as he expounds on why a strong America is important to defending liberty, both domestically and around the world. He said “our economy runs on freedom; it doesn’t run on government, it runs on freedom!” and went on to talk about restoring that kind of freedoms that bring people here from all over the world.
