On the other hand, a dramatic "end" of Biden involving the Tea Party, before the election, could serve the preezie in several interesting ways. Biden wouldn't be the first to "take one for the Party."

Only in America can an idiot like this spend his entire adult life with a cushy job in Washington and all the federal perks. WHY do the people of Delaware continue to elect this man? I guess for the same reason the people in NY continue to elect Charlie Rangel.

At a bare minimum, I want to be able to respectfully disagree with the other party, but we are waaaaay beyond that. We've got people talking impeachment, contempt of Congress, giving aid and comfort to our enemies; it's just sickening.

I still believe that Obama specifically chose Biden to act as a sort of Doomsday Device to ensure mutual assured destruction against anyone trying to remove him from office prematurely.

Obama has used Biden on several occasions to put forth a point of view. If it falls flat in the polls, he claims Biden is a gaffe master and he moves on. If it flies true, then he picks up on it and runs with it. This is all a gameplan, folks. We saw it with the gay marriage issue, for example. Biden said it. They called it a gaffe. Many people liked it, so then Obama declared his position. Always watch the other hand.
On the other hand, I think I heard Obama declare from his study, after getting up at 10:30 in the morning, "But I inherited Biden. I'm pretty sure Joe is Bush's fault. Wait, what do the polls say?"
Another possibility, the regime has pretty much run out of scapegoats. They've used Bush and the economy they inherited and the 'do nothing' Congress and squeezed as much blame out of them so often that people's eyes glaze over hearing this.
Time to go to the bench and start bringing in the second stringers and it looks like poor old grandpa up in Scranton is the next up.
Besides, with so many Dems pulling out of the convention, they really new bodies to fill the seats and give appearance that all's well in Lib town.
Unfortunately, Biden's gaffes travel faster than the speed of light, so we see them before they happen. This means that even if we don't see the actual event, everyone knows it's happening and can predict its effects.
Is anyone surprised by Biden? No. His stupidity reaches beyond the light cone.

Well... that's one theory. And it really doesn't make sense because he's hurting Obama and if you don't win, you don't stay VP. There could be another reasoning behind all this. Maybe Biden DOES want to be replaced because he senses that things aren't going well.

I now know to whom I should attribute that maxim... in much the same way I know to whom I should attribute the inventing of the internet. The Dems produce such awesome Vice Presidents!

But he said this meaning he helped create the conditions in legislation through the High Performance Computing and Communication Act of 1991. The inventors of the TCP/IP protocol do actually give Gore the credit for the legislation.
