Maybe Colin Powell voted for Obama because the people he trusted and worked for (i.e. Bush, Cheney and the whole lot) left him holding the bag in the UN and helped destroy his credibility. I'll take a society of men of honor like Powell over fat pill popping scumbags like Rush any day.

The Democrats and many others said that "Bush lied, people died, etc." Harry Belafonte said that C. Powell was an "Uncle Tom" because the U.S. went into A-stan after 9/11. C. Powell was the one with the PowerPoint presentation that convinced everyone to go into Iraq. Therefore, C. Powell should have been seen by them as a liar, monster, etc. Therefore, the Democrats shouldn't have wanted anything to do with C. Powell in 2008 or now. And yet many of them did and do. Crazy!
If it was so 'historic', then Allen Keyes or Hillary Clinton would have been president by now. Obama brought nothing to the table other candidates didn't already have in spades (hey, is that racist?) other then the luckiest timing in the world to have the economy tank right as McCain/Palin were beginning to mow Obama down.
