I’m posting this call because of how ridiculous it was. It’s not over the top ridiculous as in your typical loud mouth lib who doesn’t want to listen – in fact the caller is very pleasant. It’s the content of the call that is on display here because this caller is emblematic of the problem we have in our country with those who think they know best.
The caller’s base premise is that businesses could start hiring if they wanted to, that there is nothing really stopping them from hiring. Rush asks him why then are they not hiring, and that’s when the call starts to fall apart. The guy is making assumptions about why they aren’t hiring, and Rush knows it, but the caller won’t let on to what his assumptions are and instead tries to sound intelligent by deflecting “well thats a question that only those businesses can answer.”
From there, it turns into a rather humorous display of liberal reasoning and I must give Rush kudos for being brilliant enough to expose this mentality. My favorite part comes toward the end when Rush says that by the end of the call the lib-caller is going to say that Rush called him. That’s how backward this guy really is.
