Rush had a caller today who criticized him for his comments on evolution. I didn’t hear his earlier comments, but apparently they had something to do with O’Donnell. Either way, the caller felt like Rush had disparaged evolution – and in his mind this wasn’t fair since, as he believes, there is more evidence for evolution than creation. But Rush hits back saying that he’s not denying that species evolve, but that evolution is a theory (which means ‘unproven’ to all you ‘evolution is a fact‘ people) and it doesn’t explain creation.
After the call, in the next segment, Rush expounds on his point by saying that the theory of evolution is a world view that requires faith just as the Biblical view of creation requires faith. He says that Darwin’s book doesn’t explain the ‘origin of species’ as it implies by its title, but yields that neither does he, that is in a factual manner anyway.
I’ve included both segments in the video and encourage you to listen to the whole thing to give you the fullest understanding of his argument. Heck, I might even listen to it again.
Enjoy!
