I think Obama’s real plan is to have China “one child policy” lite. It is a Cass Sunstein style stealth population control policy. I don’t think Obama is trying to take Santorum out with this. He is trying to paint conservatives as opposing birth control. The fact of the matter is that a large majority of conservatives do not oppose birth control at all. We do oppose the government pushing it on us though.

I think they can attack multiple birds with one stone. Subvert the Constitution, attack Santorum, one child policy lite, etc.

Tax (aka breeding fines) the second and third children on a sliding scale, ban the 4th (forced abortion or sterlization), etc.
Bring back McCarthyism. Make Islam and Communism/Marxism illegal. Because these philosophies exist to undermine our Constitution and sovereignty.

Its about control. They claim Obama has the authority to mandate this and now they are “accomadating” religion. They now think that they are above the 1st Amendment and they will “let” you believe in your religion. Control control control

I love Santorum, i just dont think he is the right pick. I hope I am wrong about him. He is the purest conservative there is in that bunch, but that is where it ends for me. The danger of what the Conservative Right is doing is mind boggling. Bill Buckley once said:
1. Choose the most conservative
2. Who can winI dare to add a third point to it:
3. Who will do a good job
I have broken down his comment into the two most important aspects it has. If the only criteria for our choice of a leader at this time is that he/she must be conservative, then the conservative movement is digging America’s grave unwittingly.
When conservatives begin to do a better work at politics, the right order of the criteria would look something like this.
• Who can best do the job?
• Who has the best ideas ?
• Whose plans seems best to solve the problems the country has?
• Who is most conservative?
• Whose ideas are closest to conservative ideology
• Who has a history of walk and talk conservatism?
• Who is best amenable to conservative views - http://twitter.com/PuritanD71 PuritanD71
I find it interesting that it is the Government that is being intrusive on people who have religious concern for paying for abortions. Yet, they are trying to persuade with a lie that I want to ban contraceptives.
Last I check, birth control is readily available to any person who wants it. I just have no desire to pay for it. This administration needs to be pulled back to the 1st amendment. HELLO!

Actually it really started with Legal Insurrection, it was the Professor who noticed first and put it out there. Dick just didn’t bother to give him any credit for it, but then why am I not surprised?

I have been beating the drum that Santorum has made some crazy statements regarding Birth Control (he thinks it is wrong) and Right to Privacy (he doesn’t think there is one) and how your don’t have a right to privacy in your “wallet and bedroom.” I was uneasy about these statements but did not put it together about the HHS decision. I understand he was making perhaps a philosophical argument but I just knew this would not play well in a Presidential Election and doesn’t really sit well with my more Libertarian leanings. Because I don’t believe the Government should be involved in any of this. Santorum is not my Candidate for these reasons.
- Anonymous
Cheryl could you provide those comments in regards to birth control, right to privacy and to where we don’t have a right to privacy in your “wallet and bedroom”?
He doesn’t believe in contraception because he is Catholic, however I don’t believe that he wants to force his beliefs on society as such. He knows thats unconstitutional. However he does believe that having a just a moral society is key to our greatness and our continued growth as a nation. The founding fathers knew it.
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” – John Adams
- Anonymous
He was asked whether states are Constitutionally permitted to ban contraceptives. He said yes and he was right. There is no Constitutional right to privacy. States have broad authority to pass just about any law they want as long as it does not contradict Federal Law or the Constitution. He specifically mentioned Griswold v. Connecticut, which was the precursor to Roe v. Wade and said that decision was wrongly decided.
The Constitution is not a document that protects our rights by listing them out, although it does list some of them. Instead the Constitution protects our freedom by creating a government with limited powers. It is up to the citizens of particular states to run their governments and set up Constitutions which protect fundamental freedoms. That’s the way its suppose to work, but unfortunately we have strayed far away from that ideal.
- Anonymous
I agree with you…and Santorum. Unfortunately most of the useful idiots don’t undestand how the Constitution works.

Watch and read these pieces and tell me if you are comfortable with what he is saying. Because I am not. The problem is if you open this door because you believe in Santorum’s Values and Morals, where he believes Government does have the right to make sure the Family is strengthened that the “Common Good” is more important then the individual and you don’t have a right to privacy in your own home, it could backfire when there is a President who uses that power in a way you don’t agree with. Rick Santorum is running for President of all the people and I don’t want him using Government to straighten us out all us sinners. I am divorced and what he says is offensive to me, that he doesn’t trust me as an individual to live my life correctly. On a philosophical level I understand where he is coming from and might agree with him on certain issues. But to say contraception is “wrong” and cause of sexual deviancy is a bit out there. He has set this up if he is our nominee to make this election about the scary Republican who wants to criminalize your bedroom and outlaw Contraception. I know this isn’t what he means but come on you know the media we are dealing with. His personality also make it very easy to say he is sanctimonious and nuts. Do we really want this election to be about contraception, gay marriage, and abortion? Because it will be if he is the nominee and we will lose big. I am very conservative and his anti Libertarianism makes me very uncomfortable and I don’t think I could vote for him so I can’t imagine how it would play in the general election. He should be a Paster or Historian or author if he wants to have this conversation not a Presidential Candidate. Sorry but I don’t want a Preacher President who will use the Bully Pulpit as a Moral Pulpit to preach to the Country. You have to admit he is not very politically articulate on these issues, he is downright scary. Because he wants to use the Government to enforce and strengthen his version of America. And even if I agree with his version of our Country I don’t think its his business or the Governments business how I live my life. He really doesn’t define Freedom and Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness in the same way I do. Because then the question is who gets to decide what is moral and appropriate and the “correct” family to deserve freedom and liberty? Rick Santorum? No thanks.

I honestly don’t believe that Rick Santorum would use the limited power that the president has to force us to live a “moral” life. Does he think we should? Of course who doesn’t. He is a man of strong faith and deeply believes in his Catholic faith. However I don’t believe that he will use his limited powers as POTUS to impose the Catholic faith on American people. When he talks of libertarianism he talk more so of it because libertarians believe that you do what you do I do what I do, as long as we don’t hurt each other thats fine. The problem with that is that Rick is correct in saying that the family is the core of our society. He wants to protect the family and keep us a nation founded on Judeo-Christian principles. I don’t think he will increase the size of governement or create a “theocracy”. His worry of libertarians is that the lose of religion and morals.
Again to quote John Adams “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” -John Adams

Santorum supporters, pay attention here, this is just the tip of the iceberg of what they intend to do to Santorum on social issues to sink him.
- Anonymous
And it will only backfire…
- Debra Chamberlin
Exactly so. Americans, religious or not, are increasingly repelled by the decadence of our popular culture, and those with children doubly outraged that public schools are indoctrinating students in all grades into the homosexual lifestyle. They’re saying enough is enough and are begging to have the pendulum swing back so that they may raise their children in a milieu in which respect for traditional morality is celebrated rather than marginalized and denounced, as our libertarian and liberal friends seek to do. Parents are tired of being called bigots for praising what is good, and true, and honorable. Attacking Santorum’s morality will yield many new votes for him — and trying to paint him as theocratic will only serve to inflame the beleaguered and constantly harassed good people of America.
- Anonymous
Sadly it won’t, remember they don’t have to convince (or scare) all the voters that Santorum is dangerous on social issues, just enough of them independents to win an election.
- Anonymous
Conservative family-oriented people who cling to their guns and religion are like aliens to these people. You can hear it when they ask inane questions. It’s like hearing a paleontologist who has discovered a strange lost tribe. The Progressives have zero comprehension of the common Conservative. No understanding of the Bible Belt, and no “tolerance” for traditional values.

Ummm, it would seem that they are piling this upon all who have an ‘R’ behind their name, not just Santorum.

And herein lies the danger. The timing of OWS didn’t hit me until late last Fall. Two words: Cass Sunstein (kudos Brian, you sharp cookie!). He is a deadly dangerous, evil man. Please don’t underestimate them.

They do it every year to anyone, it doesn’t matter who it is. They did it to GWB, McCain etc. No matter how “moderate” you are, its their playbook.
So, why should we care what the Left is going to say about our candidate? Then, by that logic, the Republicans shouldn’t run anyone in the general, b/c they will get “attacked.”
- Anonymous
You are right. They will go after him with the long knives. It is expected. It may even cost him some votes. However, let’s not assume that independents are amoral. Many of them will respect Rick’s stances.
Now, OTOH, let’s compare that with what they would go after the other candidates for….
I’ll take Santorum. My point is that if you think that Santorum can’t defend his social stances successfully, then you have reason to be scared. I just wouldn’t bank on the majority of the country to side against him for standing on moral ground.
Listen to some of the speeches he gave today out West on the stump. He won’t take this stuff lying down, and he will prove to articulate his position well to those who will listen.
- Anonymous
What he said had nothing to do with contraceptives or social issues. Its a Constitutional question. If he had said anything else I would have been extremely dissapointed. This is realy simple stuff. If we can’t stand up and defend Santorum on this than we have lost our way as a movement.

Rush was on a roll today. He had a story about a school that has inspectors that inspect lunches brought from home.

I watched the news report on tv. It was incredible. The school didn’t approve of the lunch (which was healthier than most), so they confiscated it and gave the child a lunch he wouldn’t eat. Then they sent home a note saying that if they had to do it again, the mother would be charged for the lunch they provide.
I don’t recognize this country anymore.

I remember the debate where George Stephanopoulos made a big deal out of a contraception issue trying to corner the candidates about it and I thought the hell is up with this contraception issue, why is this even an issue, who’s trying to ban contraception? NONE OF THE CANDIDATES ARE FOR BANNING CONTRACEPTION! Their religious beliefs about contraception and the effects of it on peoples lives might differ but no one is for banning it! If you want your damn contraception buy it yourself!

murdering unborn babies = abortion = choice = women’s health = contraception
Just don’t talk about facts and reason and you’ll be on the same page. It’s all about shifting and controlling words. My favorite is that they insist on being called Pro Choice, but attempt to label Pro Life people as Anti Choice. Controlling the words people use. All part of the Marxist handbook.
ed: you’re right about the fact that no one is talking about banning contraceptives and most Conservatives believe in it…just not abortificants or being forced to pay for it.
- Anonymous
To many of the leftists I have to endure every day, they believe abortion is a form of contraception. So, to them it is the same thing.
- http://www.facebook.com/people/Steven-Valdez/1806887704 Steven Valdez
Hum, that would be dangerous if later down the road contraception could include abortions.
- Anonymous
When the contraception question was prolonged at the debate, I suspected there were specific political machinations behind it. When Little Georgie gave that BS story about a bet being the reason he pressed the question, the suspicion was confirmed.
A real story, big story, currently is the co-ordination between media outlets and the Democrats and the White House… This is another iillustration of it, and a very powerful example of why we need our own source for presidential debate questions–questions that actually matter to the American people, and which aren’t designed to diminish our candidates…
- Anonymous
Wow, I didn’t even put it together until you and Steven (below) pointed it out. I had completely forgotten about that ridiculous contraception question! This is actually pretty scary.
- Anonymous
Exactly, it shows how much of a mockery they are trying to make of the debates so people don’t take the candidates seriously. Your moderating a debate for a Presidential debate and you are asking questions based on a bet to get someone to say somthing you think is funny?? Really?? And you consider yourself an actual journalist and unbiased member of the media?? What is this country coming to?
- Anonymous
So here is what I am hearing ….
American voters are too stupid to understand the difference between outlawing contraception, and not forcing insurance companies to provide to everyone it at no cost.
And…..Republican candidates are too stupid to explain the difference.
- Anonymous
I’d say that you heard it right, Dee, especially the retard, er, repub candidates are too stupid to explain the difference. They don’t appear to understand it themselves.
- http://twitter.com/2Eskies2Many Kari George
I don’t know if it’s stupidity. Americans are overwhelmed and distracted, under the gun. As far as our candidates are concerned…Romney, no comment. Santorum isn’t going to help himself. Newt gets it, trust me. But this is a double bind and extremely tricky to untangle. Think diffusing a bomb. Libs are masters at making things so twisted and convoluted, half of them don’t know who’s on first. Those just dumbly nod their heads and (loudly) go along.
- Anonymous
I’d bet the kitchen sink that Santorum will speak forcefully tonight on that subject in Idaho. He’ll do quite well for himself.
Think of this angle for a moment….
Santorum has been in this race from the beginning without a teleprompter, expensive advisor teams, or much in prepared remarks–yet he is relatively “gaffe” free and gives some of the best stump speeches out there.
He’ll do fine. - http://www.facebook.com/people/Steven-Valdez/1806887704 Steven Valdez
the only sort of gaffe I can remember from Santorum is the “blah people” remark taken out of context and in the context I don’t think he was talking about black people.
- Anonymous
LOL. I needed that.
- http://www.facebook.com/people/Tom-Camp/1608442478 Tom Camp
Let me get this straight.
If you are ‘personally opposed to abortion’ but favor no restrictions on their availability, then you get credit for being both ‘pro-choice’ and being a good Catholic (or whatever).
If you are personally opposed to the use of contraceptives, but favor no restrictions on their availability, then you are a crazy whacko trying to force you misguided values down the throats of everyone else.
Got it.
I read about a woman who came to the U.S. from Eastern Europe. While still living over there, she heard about how conservatives over here wanted to dictate to people what they could do in the bedroom. She then came to the U.S. and discovered that liberals want to dictate to people what they can do in every room of the house. True.
Just what is Santorum advocating that infringes on anyone’s rights? And not paying for someone’s contraception or abortion is not infringing on their rights.
- Anonymous
Santorum needs to come out with that question. “What am I advocating that infringes on anyone’s rights?” And then state that because he doesn’t want everyone forced to pay for contraceptives or abortion isn’t infringing on those people rights.
- http://www.facebook.com/people/Tom-Camp/1608442478 Tom Camp
Social Cons get a very bad rap. There are two issues where one could make a case that they want to ‘impose their values’, but recall that these imposed values were fully accepted standards not very long ago. Those two issues are abortion and gay marriage. Note that both these issues poll in the social cons favor, though abortion only slightly so.
Other than that, social cons mostly just want to encourage going back to those values that made this country great. It is shocking to me that those that emphasize the value of such things as family, faith, personal responsibility, hard work, etc. should be labeled as haters and extremists.
- Anonymous
I agree completely
- Anonymous
Exactly, you can be both a libertarian and a social conservative. In fact the two go hand in hand. Liberty cannot exist in a society were individuals cannot govern their own behavior, and a large paternalistic government destroys the morals of its people.
- wodiej
from what I’ve seen they don’t want to encourage it, they are demanding it. They also act self righteous about it. Big turn off for most. And sitting in church doesn’t make someone better than someone who doesn’t.
- http://www.facebook.com/people/Tom-Camp/1608442478 Tom Camp
Demanding what?
And I’ve seen lots of people tell me that sitting in church doesn’t make you a better person. Of course, the people that tell me that don’t bother to sit in church themselves, so they really are not in much of a position to know.
At the same time, I haven’t noticed many people that do sit in church making any claims to being ‘better people’. Those that claim that church goers do so sound an awful lot like those Democratic politicians who are frequently bellowing “How dare you question my patriotism” when no one is doing so.
I sit in church more than once a week. One thing that we hear over and over is that we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God, and that any of us who think we’re ‘better’ than other sinners out there are deceiving ourselves. Of course, I go to a conservative church. No telling what liberal churches are teaching, though based on a few visits to liberal churches that friends go to, it looks like they teach that they are better than those unenlightened types that go to conservative churches.
Of course, I do have something that lots of non-church goers don’t have and that is Jesus Christ. But that’s nothing to be smug about. Anyone that wants Him need only ask. No special knowledge or secret code words required.
- Anonymous
It’s not about going to church, It’s about repenting of your sins, and accepting Jesus and what he did on the cross. Salvation is a gift of God. Its not something you can work for. Just sitting in Church has never saved anybody.

“In 1990, a former Vatican-insider claimed that a titanic struggle was being waged to bring about a world political system.
“This contest, the now deceased Jesuit explained, was primarily between three players:
- international Leninism,
- transnational business elites, and
- the hand of the Vatican.“Almost twenty years have passed since Malachi Martin drew attention to this three-way quest.
“At the time his assertions seemed over-the-top.
“Granted, the idea of a world government via communism wasn’t new as decades of Cold War posturing still played in our minds.
“And the writing was on the wall in respect to the growing power of international corporate and financial elites, exemplified by the likes of David Rockefeller and the Trilateral Commission.
“But the Vatican?
“… In the summer of 2009, the Holy See’s political cards were revealed in a major papal document. … .
“On July 7th, Pope Benedict released his new encyclical titled Caritas in Veritate, or “Charity in Truth.” … .
“Commenting on the encyclical, The New York Times noted that, “sometimes Benedict sounds like an old-school European socialist…”
“And The San Francisco Chronicle explained that, Caritas in Veritate addresses very modern issues such as globalization, market economy, hedge funds, outsourcing, and alternative energy, calling for people to put aside greed and let their consciences guide them in economic and environmental decisions.
“Many of the ideas put forward would likely rankle conservatives…”
“E.J. Dionne, a columnist for The Washington Post, gushed that Benedict is “well to Obama’s left on economics.”

So, my question is this…
When are we going to stop letting the left dictate the narrative? Everyone from our candidates to our elected officials haunt the leftist media shows and basically line up for their daily flogging. When are we going to say – ‘Up yours!’ and dominate the message? Doesn’t ANYONE on our side have any experience in psych warfare? Because that’s what this is. For the love of pete – study some d*** Sun Tzo!
- Anonymous
I agree. The inherent problem is that the media controls the narrative….or should I say “media matters” seems to control the narrative.
they have the prime time news coverage. They get to ask the questions. They get to play offense and watch the people in their interviews play defense. This is precisely why I think Newt, warts and all, has been masterful in this primary. He is witty enough to turn the tables in an interview and take control.
Santorum is a good man and is getting better at this himself as displayed by the multiple Santorum videos RS put up this past weekend.
- Amy
I think ‘our side’ should cease and desist with any and all interviews/pieces on MSM. The only people who actually get their news from these sources aren’t apt to believe the truth even when smacked upside the head with it. They are happy to sleep walk through life and be lulled into complacency by the talking head on the 5 o’clock news (or six or ten…). There is no hope in reaching them unless TSHTF and their world goes topsy turvy.
I love watching some of the FOX Business shows and seeing some actual discussion about the issues, or attending town halls, or conventions, or reading (!!!!) which is something hardly anyone does anymore to get their news; but I absolutely refuse to turn on MSNBC, CNN, etc to see conservatives interviewed there. I won’t give them the ratings.
I’m ranting now, but it’s just so frustrating to see them try to get the other side to like them or even engage in truthful conversation. It just ain’t gonna happen…

It won’t be about his morality, it will be about instilling fear in the voters minds that Rick is of the radical right. This will excite their base into voting and then it just becomes a matter of convincing enough independents to win it. Believe me, it is not going to yield us many new votes.

What does this mean? Are you able to elaborate?
- http://twitter.com/2Eskies2Many Kari George
Newbie, I wrote a big long post and chickened out. Because this posts under my name, I’m honestly afraid of the consequences.
To put it mildly, it was like a power crazed, manic orgy. At the time, I thought they were a little nuts (full of themselves/ it), but they’ve done pretty much everything they were talking about doing. (except closing GITMO- ha, that’s uneasy, considering)
I can’t believe it- esp after the 2010 election.
It was a similar atmosphere, but turned way down, at DailyKos when the whole OWS thing was going on. See also Talking Points Memo, Huffington Post, & Think Progress. There is another site that was active in the 0care battle & tried to interface with the libertarians, but I’m kind of ambivalent about them & don’t want to name them.
During the 0care thing, there was a lot of gang stalking going on all over. It seems like the Romney people adopted these tactics for a while at one of the/ our popular aggregators. It seems to have died down some since Florida.Look into Cass Sunstein (Getting To Yes) and an SDS holdover named Mark Gerzon (also an author). There is a whole cabal of these people that are connected to a bunch of “NGOs” and connected (behind?) Obama/ Clinton. When “social engineering” has been tossed around lately, it is not the same thing these guys are into- At. All.) Googling them should get you to some really eye popping stuff.
If you can stand it, look into some of the You Tube vids with “spokespeople” for OWS- esp a couple with that Colbert guy, which looks like a joke, but I don’t think it is. They’re in other OWS footage. I don’t think drugs are necessarily why they’re so out of it.Sadly, believe your eyes and trust your gut.
- politicalnewbie
Wow. Thanks!
I know all of this has been planned. What is frustrating is that it seems impervious. These guys are obviously playing to win at whatever cost. But then, they have built this thing so the cost is all on our side no matter what.
Can you elaborate on why Newt is the guy, other than what Newt puts out there himself? I mean, do you know anything (that you can share) that isn’t already out there?

People are dumber than they were when Reagan was elected. Just think every year we get millions of new voters who have been educated in the Public School system. They have no idea about our founding, the Constitution, or basic economic freedom.
Been_There_BT is right about the method of the Liberals attack. The problem is they will do that no matter who is the nominee. But if we nominate Romney we will lose the base.

Rush said he needs a “morning after election” pill on his program today. Haha!

As usual, Rush is right on!

Rush is behind on this issue and he’s only got it half right. Legal Insurrection had this yesterday and I think the take from Professor Jacobsen is more on target:
“Remember when George Stephanopoulos, at the New Hampshire Republican debate on January 7, brought up and harped on whether the candidates thought states could ban contraception?… Well what do you know, about a month later the Obama administration proposes administrative rules under Obamacare which would require free contraception be provided even by religious institutions which oppose contraception on religious grounds.”

While Regime Obama will try to take out all opponents, they have laid the groundwork to campaign against Romney with OWS, against the rich and the Bain Capital corporate raiders. Therefore they would like to hurt Santorum in the primary. They have cold hard facts to go against Bain and Mitt. I have learned to just listen to that “stupid and irrelevant” Sarah Palin. She told us this over a month ago. The Republican establishment should learn to listen to Sarah as well.

As Rush has said at the end of this clip,Obama is once again appealing/manipulating/suckering the MILLIONS of dumb people who blindly follow him and vote Democrat year after year and the those stupid enough not to get involved politically and vote responsibly! Also the the brainwashed Youth voters who also believe everything he says, and most Blacks,Hispanics. It is they who will foolishly re-elect him much to the destruction of America!

Rush is right as usual……he is going after the dumb in our society that do not want to work and want a free handout for the rest of their life using the money for those that do work for a living……and they will vote for him….multiple times give the opportunity.

Rush is right.

From Buzzfeed: “Here’s Romney’s Plan To Take Out Santorum”
This is from a Romney advisor:
The first is a comparison to Barack Obama: “He’s never run anything,” said the advisor. The Pennyslvanian’s experience is limited to roles as a legislator and legislative staffer. “The biggest thing he ever ran is his Senate office,” he siad.[Didn't Romney run for the Senate and lose? Romney ran for President and lost!]
The second is a challenge to Santorum’s Washington experience.
“They’re going to hit him very hard on earmarks, lobbying, voting to raise the federal debt limit five times,” said the advisor. “The story of Santorum is going to be told over the next few weeks in a big way.”[Earmarks? Romney supported TARP / Lobbying? That might be toxic enough to hurt Santorum some, would like to see how Rick responds to that attack / Voted to raise the debt ceiling 5 times, Ronald Reagan raised the debt ceiling 18 times, and if Romney didn't lose his Senate race against Ted Kennedy I'm sure he would have voted to raise the debt ceiling as well.]

If this is how Romney expects to attack Santorum, i think it’s rather weak in contrast to Romney.

I could care less what Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin or any of the other talk radio hosts think. It’s just their opinion-it doesn’t mean it’s right. It doesn’t mean they have more wisdom or common sense-which obviously they don’t.

I don’t know that this debate is intended to take out any one candidate. It is clearly intended to draw attention away from the real issues so Obama won’t have to defend his horrible record. If they can make any of the Republican candidates seem like crazy right-wingers in the process, all the better.

If anybody saw that debate, where George S, kept asking thiose dumb questions about contraception and Mitt was bewildered and did not even understand what the debate was about o rr wahy George was asking them. Going to make a great commercial at some point, by Crossroads I suppose.
NOW WE ALL KNOW FOLKS, why GEORGE did it, don’t be stupid, even you PROGs and lefties.
IF everyone would start paying attention, you would notice the PROGS do this ALL THE TIME !!!!!
I am hoping when all the info comes out, and is explained in a clear way, it will look really bad for the left. MEDIA MATTERS IS GOING down as we speeak, having worked with the White House and MSNBC CLOSELY ! HUGE SCANDAL, because they have it in writing and e-mails.
RIGHT NOW, they are saying OBAME is a master politician who did all this to trap the right, even Rick S, which is part of the plan, but it is just moving the goal posts, tryng to get us all to accept a new reality.
That the RE-pubes have a “war on Women” (no such thing), and are trying to deny contraception or even out-law it is so hokey, only the dumbest of people will believe it. For now it is happening, because there are so many takers now, that all they want is free stuff, so they will always side with OBAMA and left, if they think you are taking something free away from them.
I said 3 weeks ago tipping point was fall of 2009 as BIG money came through to CRONIES. If you go back and look at headlines, it was all about the money filtering down to the people on the left (Levin and RUSH were all over it), and then came health care “deals” at X-mas, and then they forced it through in the spring.
OBAME and team knew if he got 800 billion to spend to his friends, all he had to do was manage things as the economy transformed.
I know Glenn Beck has been out of his mind lately (attacking NEWT), but if you watch his shows in fall of 2009, the EXACT things he predicted, are happening RIGHT NOW.
When over 50% of the people (takers) get free money and benifits, and high paying govermnment jobs, you get them hooked, SEE GREECE !!!
If the LEFT vote themseves back in, we (AMERICA and constitution) are finished, and I am talking to you LIBERALS too !!!
The INDEPENDENTS HAVE to vote for re-pubes, even if they want free stuff.
I want to see the truth come up in ads by these billionaires, ASAP.
If they wait too long, as this primary drags on. the RE-pubes look lost and can be hammered with all the lies about “war on Women” etc.
How come no one on the right or ANY candidate is denying it?
There is only one candidate that has the talent and knows what and how to do it in Congress and knows history.
He has been destroyed 3 times already, but maybe he has one more run in him. I hope he has a good debate on the 22nd, and lets the truth fly. Notice Romney is STILL going after him as he is down at 15%, WHAT A SCUM BAG THIS GUY MITT IS!!!!
Rick won’t make it unless WE THE PEOPLE (who love this country) protect him and NEWT decides to protect him. No other way possible.
- drphibes
It’s like Rush always says: The Left will tell you who they fear.
Romney doesn’t offer sufficient “market differentiation”. Santorum is positioned as a The Contrast who can appeal to independents. - Reckoner_3
This Contraception mandate was not politically geared against the Republican party.
This law was in the works, and school’s like Belmont Abbey were being proactive against Obama all last year. Obama’s admin has a lot of radicals who ‘ve had an axe to grind with the Catholic Church.
It just started to take a effect…. this law was drafted with the Church in mind. Not Republican party candidates. We’ve known about this since Obamacare…… Dick Morris ‘ is just being a typical pundit.
Barack Obama was not even thinking a guy like Santorum would be on the radar in 2 years before this legislation was drafted….
these are coincidences….
it’s not even a winning “smear” to worry about.
- Jay
The dumbest among us? Oh, he means people who watch MSNBC and the View.
This started with Dick Morris last night on Hannity, espousing the idea that the left is trying to make contraception an issue just for the purpose of using it against their GOP opponents. It kinda makes sense when you think about it because the whole ‘access’ argument is absurd.
Rush explains it and why he agrees with it:
