Rush: Jim Bunning is making a point about PayGo

You would think that, by the reporting, Sen. Jim Bunning is the most evil person that has ever existed. He probably eats little kids like candy or something. But one thing you won’t hear in the reporting is that Bunning is trying to force the Senate to abide by it’s rule to ‘pay as you go’, or rather make sure they have the money to pay for what they plan to spend. It’s not the end of the world either, as the Senate will override his objection tomorrow.

Think of it as a snow day in DC, because we’re pretty much getting snowed under with the spending by this administration anyway. Here’s Rush’s take:

UPDATE: This is just an example of how this is being played in the media. Somebody went to alot of trouble to put this together, and it certainly fits in with what Rush was saying about how they are trying to get Bunning kicked out of the hall of fame.

Jim Bunning is the man some one else should have done the same thing or at least join him. this is obama's law and he can't even obey a law he himself signed.

Yeah. Might I just honestly say ONCE AGAIN…I don't see HOW extending unemployment and paying people who basically aren't even needed at the moment is gonna HELP the economy. Handouts encourage sloth.

Bunning is getting his money just like Limbaugh they dont care about anyone but their own pockets. Just blame Obama. Make this argument about republican and democrat.

rob2424, what argument do you want me to make? I'm not sure I follow you.

ALL this guy was even trying to do is POINT OUT THE HYPOCRICY of excluding the unemployment benefit extension from their PAYGO law. If your argument is that Bunning and Rush MAKE MONEY doin what they're doing…then…WHAT might I ask is exactly wrong with that? Would YOU do YOUR job if you WEREN'T BEING PAID?

Or is it that YOU happen to be one of the unemployed people who want to KEEP SUCKING ON UNCLE SAM'S TEETS, so you feel like you've been fiscally “hit by the pitcher?”
