Among Tea Party members who are likely primary voters, 49% say it would be good for the GOP if Palin enters the race, while 33% think it would be bad for the party.
- Anonymous
It is NOT about the party.
It IS about the country.
- Anonymous
I understand it’s not about the party. I was just reporting more from the Rasmussen poll. I believe that Palin would make a great president, but would have a difficult time beating Obama. I have 2 sisters that hate her,but they can’t really tell me why. They get their news from The View and believe everything Joyless Bayhore says.
- Anonymous
well then…i the only elephant they would vote for is one with their spine remove anyway. Only a warrior can save the Republic now.
I have never understood the Republican proclivity to give up before the kickoff.
The liberals and Progressives, pound their stake in the sand one step further from freedom and one step closer to Central Government each election. The media then declares that as “middle” and the elephants rush to meet them halfway there.
This is the formula for losing America.
- http://twitter.com/RichMcCreedy Richard McCreedy
And this is my point. There are an insane amount of people out there who have their minds made up about Palin. They don’t know why they hate her, they just do. No amount of politiking, debate, money, etc. is going to change their minds. They are totally out of it when it comes to even thinking about voting for Palin.
- Anonymous
Bullsh!t. I have made it my business to put haters on the spot until they either admit their ignorance or are shamed into looking into her record. I have converted liberal friends of mine because I made the effort and I wouldn’t back down. I also did this without getting nasty. Getting nasty is never productive but questioning boldly is.
- http://twitter.com/RichMcCreedy Richard McCreedy
Great, now if you can just go out and do that with about 20 million other Americans, you’ll have it.
- Anonymous
Don’t sound like a quitter! Support Renee and giver her a pat on the back. She can’t do it alone, but if 5 million other Americans were as bold with 4 friends, they’d have the 20 million you ask for.
That’s called leadership.
But you are right, Richard, there are people who mindlessly hate her. I think the MSM pushing this meme that she’s stupid is sinking in with them.
- http://www.facebook.com/people/Bobbi-Duvall/100000116205371 Bobbi Duvall
Hopefully Sarah will be able to convince about 20 million other Americans once she starts really campaigning!
- Anonymous
It started out a little bit nasty, no? “Bullshit” isn’t exactly, “by your leave sir”, now is it? It’s difficult to not agree with both of you, but you contracticted yourself pretty good here so I have to lean towards both of you and ignore the inconsistency. Of course, nasty is good sometimes. Sometimes folks need nasty.
And finally, “bullshit” is a bold question. I think the answer might be…it sure tastes like it.
- Anonymous
I hear ya. I am saying that to the poster I responded to. When I talk to a friend about Palin I pointedly ask them exactly what it is they don’t like about her. I also ask them if they know about her record. No one who initially had a negative response toward her really knew anything about her. When they took the time to look into it they changed their minds. If everyone does their part and asks people what exactly their problem is with her policies we will be good to go.
- Anonymous
It is your patriotic duty to question them aggressively about this. If they do not have an answer why they need to be taken to the woodshed for their ignorance.
- Anonymous
It’s difficult to question them aggressively because they live 1000 miles from here. I can’t control what they want to discuss over the phone. I have to feed them info about Palin a little at a time.

Gotcha. That makes sense. I did all of my talking in person while looking the other in the eye.

The Republicans will be able to beat Obonzo with a rancid hot dog on a moldy bun; but that doesn’t mean they should nominate one. And if a rancid hot dog on a moldy bun could beat Obonzo, Governor Palin most certainly can beat him.
Public Policy Polling, which is not a conservative outfit by any stretch of the imagination, recently released some very interesting polling information. In five “battleground” states–Pennsylvania, Florida, Ohio, Missouri and Nevada–Governor Palin polls well within the margin of error in hypothetical head-to-head matchups against Obonzo.
Two salient observations must be noted here. First, as I mentioned before, Public Policy Polling is NOT a conservative organization. So it’s safe to assume that, as all left-wing polling organizations do, they oversampled Democreeps in their polls. Second, Governor Palin, at least for the present, is not an officially-declared Presidential candidate. Based on these observations, one can reasonably conclude that PPP’s polls are very likely underestimating Governor Palin’s true strength vis a vis Obonzo.
If everyone who says, “I like Sarah Palin, but she can’t win” were to just support her and leave it at that, she would win both the nomination and the Presidency in crushing landslides. The only certain way she doesn’t get elected is if she doesn’t run. If she runs but loses the nomination, it will be because Republicans are either cowards or fools–or both. If she wins the nomination but loses the general election, it will be because the majority of American voters are fools who have a death wish for our Nation.

The big problem is the LSM reaches so many people with their lies, and people just accept the lies as Gospel. Most of them are too lazy to verify, so they just follow LSM like a flock of lost sheep headed over a cliff. It’s up to us to do all we can to get the truth out. We need to do more than just preach to the choir on sites like this. It’s great we have this site, but we need to do more.

Really not that confusing. Palin is not a good candidate for multiple reasons-her own record & words will haunt her (& please no attacks-go back & listen to 08 debate where she said she wanted to cap carbon emissions aka cap n trade & wanted more govt $ hence interference in education, she also supported TARP, spent $ on the Airport to NoWhere she could have returned, etc). While she might not be a good candidate & would be toxic to the ticket she is a good rah rah cheerleader, a great fund raiser & does have a base that follow her lead without question. The perfect place for her would have been RNC head.

Check out “her own words” here: http://hrh40.wordpress.com/palin-policy/.
On the contrary, if you knew “her own record & words” you wouldn’t type such drivel.
“Her own record & words” are the best match-up with Obama that the country has. Forget the GOP.
She is the best anti-Obama in the country. She will run. And win. In a landslide.
On the basis of “her own record & words.”

Right now I like the position that Sarah is in, on the undeclared list. I want her to shed light on Romney, his Healthcare position, his Global Warming position, his one term statues as a Governor ( did not seek re-election due to low poll numbers in Mass), Romney is from the State that brings to Washington, DC; Kerry, Markey, Frank, and the highest tax rates in the Nation.
The only redeeming factor about Mass. are the NE Patriots and look what happened to them in the Super Bowl. Look Obama wants Romney. because he is the Ultimate RINO! - Anonymous
Romney is a RINO and the sooner people realize this the better off we’ll be he will lose in Iowa no doubt, but if he loses NH we should be set. If not and he loses NH Sarah should pounce that would give Iowa to either Cain or Michele, if Sarah gets in after that she could win SC easily and go on to the nomination.

I agree that she would be an excellent kingmaker! I don’t want her to run only cuz these lousey media people will continue to hurt her.I hate them, i love her and i don’t want to see them keep trying to drag her thru the mud. On the other hand, she has been pretty well vetted now. Who knows about some of these other bozos out there. I don’t really like any of them except Michelle Backmann. Palin/Bachmann 2012

But the media are NOT hurting her. You’re making this a self-fulfilling prophecy. What came first? Your belief that she can’t win, or your unwillingness to vote for her? See, they’re circularly linked meaning it’s coming from you and only you. You don’t vote for her because she can’t win and she can’t win because you won’t vote for her. That’s EXACTLY what the Leftist media wants. They have nothing against Palin except their propaganda.
LET ME MAKE IT CLEAR. ONLY YOU CAN HURT PALIN. NOT THE MEDIA!

The liberal/progressives hate her. The Ron Paul-ers hate her (like a broken record). She scares the hell outa the democrats.
She is our next Reagan.
She is the exact person we need to come in and clean up the mess the progressives have left us in. She is the exact person we need to get America back to her Founding Father’s foundation — because she would put her life on the line to do just that and defend our Constitution.
No other politician in the game would. - Anonymous
The people that hate her would never vote for her or any Republican in the first place. So who cares about them?

You may be to young to remember but the only thing I fear about a Palin Presidency is that she would end up the same as one other America first; Country loving President. One who had some of the same visions for this Country and fought the establishment and the big bankers and his name was John F. Kennedy.

Food for thought: Palin entering could split votes more between Bachmann, Cain, Palin, and possibly Pawlenty. That could potentially make Romney’s nomination more likely which, as much as I oppose the other four, would be even worse.
That could possibly be the thought process. Or maybe the thought is that she would do better to make the GOP more Conservative and effecting potentially hundreds of legislators and the Presidency, rather than running for 1 of those seats.
- zytekfan
That is my only concern, however Bachmann, Cain and Palin voters would vote for any of the previous listed because they all follow conservative principles.
- Steven
Wrong. Cain, TPaw and for that matter Bachmann are dead if Palin runs. You see the polls. Thanks to Rasmussen we see this dynamic. With Palin in the race, Bachmann polls in the single digits (along with TPaw). Without Palin, Bachmann suddenly becomes viable.
What is more likely to happen is Palin entering will cause TPaw to focus more on New Hampshire, as he’s already making Romney his primary target. This will increase the number of moderates vying for New Hampshire, thus weakening Romney and frankly increasing the likelihood that he will suffer an upset. Already we know Huntsman and Giuliani are going to target NH. TPaw is likely to do the same, realizing Palin’s support and credibility is too strong for him to contend with in Iowa.
The best way for Palin at this stage in her political career to bring about the Fundamental Restoration of America is to run for president. She has been vetted, she has the right positions, she’s been tried by fire, has national campaign experience against the Obama machine, has the backing of the Tea Party Movement that put the GOP back in control of the House and statehouses all across the country, and she has a strong record as governor and mayor in doing what is right for the people by taking on the corrupt political Establishment. What more would you want in a candidate? No she’s not Reagan, no she’s not Thatcher, but she is strong enough and dynamic enough to make a category for herself!
Its time for conservatives who love this country to have the backbone to demand nothing less than a full spectrum conservative of our choosing. Its time to back Palin 2012!
- Anonymous
I wasn’t trying to describe reality, I was guessing at the thought processes of people that don’t want her to run.
I don’t like Palin, Bachmann, Cain, Pawlenty, Romney, or Gingrich so I’m not all that heavy invested in how one’s entry or abstaining from the campaigning effects the numbers of the others.

I’m hardly a Ron Paul fanatic, I had to be talked into voting at all, so my wary support of any politician at all is a reluctant concession. Paul is the only one I think that would on sign into law a net shrink in government, but I’m skeptical of that as well.
- Anonymous
My apoligies Sir, but since you are now beginning to get your feet wet so to speak, my advice would be: listen carefully, find a candidate who supports your core values and moral principles, chose wisely because above your vote is important and should not be frivolously spent on a candidate the likes of which currently occupies the White House. Above all if the candidate is followed by a capital D don’t vote for it. Trust me on this one I’ve voted both ways and served in the Army under four different administrations never ever vote D.
- Anonymous
The 2012 elections will not be my first time voting, the two parties are a distraction, the difference between Rs and Ds is one of rhetoric, and voting 99.99% of the time itself is against my “core values and moral principles.”
Elections are almost invariably barbaric rituals, and thus voting is almost invariably a barbaric act in participation of it. The only vote I can square with my morals is a vote that will not grow the government or simply shift it’s weight, but will shrink it’s coersion of innocent people.

Which is precisely why I haven’t voted for a democrat in over 20 years. I tried it with some reps here in MI at the State level and all I ever got were the churning out of regs and stupid laws. Never again. Of course in MI we’ve got them all term limited now so most of that problem is solved. For the most part the R’s do a good job but power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Which is why the R’s lost their majorities in the 2006 election then after that Bush gave the dems everything they asked for and wa-la runaway spending rolling downhill and picking up speed. Reagan has been the best Pres I’ve seen in my lifetime and he had to work with Tip O’Neil who was a bigger lib than Teddy kennedy and kennedy was one big lib. Reagan cut the spending, cut taxes and created 20 mil jobs during his 8 yrs. I know the clinton horse squeeze about surpluses but no on ever mentions the fact that those surpluses were based on projections and not cash on hand. We did however manage a balanced budget with him but that was only because Gringrich basically told him sign welfare reform and you get the credit veto it and we’ll override your veto and you will look like a bafoon.
- Anonymous
Reagan didn’t cut spending, he tripped the debt. Republicans are no better about cutting government than the democrats, at best they stall the growth while shifting the fat over to the military industrial complex rather than to bribes (social programs). Reagan also spoiled a chance for nuclear disarmament for the sake of SDI.
Considering Reagan’s exploitation of the Laffer Curve to generate revenue for his ballooning of “defense” spending the fact that he ran such deficits and increased the debt by so much is even more shocking. He’s nothing compared to Bush 43 or Obama who’s worse than both of them, though.
As for regulations, both parties do it, happily, and increase the “donations” they get for it. That’s why committee chairs are the most highly valued in the entire legislature, because that’s where the bribes (lobbying) are. Democrats and Republicans both produce regulations that choke competition and give handouts to the biggest spenders in lobbying, the only difference is which industries and individuals.
In almost every election, voting is in effect the individual trying to sieze control of the gun that is used to coerce the population and use it to coerce everyone for THEIR preferred ends. The only vote I an morally comfortable with is one that will work to deconstruct or outright throw away that gun.

I will never cede any point on President Reagan probably because when he took office I was still in the Military, eligible for food stamps (which I did not take because of pride and principle) but I digress Reagan gave the Military an 18% accross the board raise his first year in office, that is most likely why I have my devotion to him. As far as the rest of your point I concur.

If Sarah Palin is elected President, untold numbers of Democrats would either commit suicide or be committed to the mental institutions in which they rightly belong. The Democrat Party might well just wither away and end as dust in the wind. If she never accomplished anything else, that by itself would make her the greatest president in the history of the country. I’d vote for her and would crawl on my hands and knees to the polling booth to do so if necessary.

The phrase “not electable” has the same sort of ridiculous tone and implication that the phrase “not a serious candidate” does. In other words, it is used by people who wish to dismiss a candidate because they do not have the capacity to comprehend that candidate’s power and attraction.

THEY VOTE!! What is it some of you are not getting about this?? It doesn’t matter if they are wrong. It doesn’t matter if they are sheep. It doesn’t matter if they can’t comprehend. They. VOTE!!!
I simply love all of the people here just dismissing poll after poll after poll as if none of it matters. Folks, Sarah Palin could be right on every single issue and be the world’s greatest speaker and yet, if people just don’t like her or aren’t comfortable with her (for whatever reason…doesn’t matter) then she won’t win an election.
Or let me say it like this. You guys dismiss these polls with something like “ah who cares, they don’t what they are talking about.” That could very well be true. In fact, I’m right there with you, it probably is true. Most of these people probably don’t know what they are talking about. They probably are idiots. And to that I say, so? They still vote. And if they are under the impression that Sarah Palin is silly or stupid or incapable or whatever the case may be, it ultimately doesn’t matter how wrong they are, because their vote counts just the same as an informed person’s vote.
This isn’t about Palin. It’s about the electorate. The electorate doesn’t like her. Their reasons are wrong. They are wrong. But, it doesn’t matter.

Poll after poll after poll and expert after expert after expert said Reagan was going to lose the 1980 election and we all know how that turned out: 489-49!

Reagan actually ran in that election…
- http://pulse.yahoo.com/_772LRALQH64ZDY624KKBWIBFMU nick
I agree. Let Palin “actually” run. Then lets see where the national polls are in Feb. 2012, before one single vote has been cast. If 200 million dollars in adds, 20 speeches without a telepromptor, 20 debates and 20 interviews hasn’t changed the electorates mind, and she is ten points behind the others vs Obama then I will vote for Perry or Pawlenty or whoever is closest to beating Romney in the Florida primary and I will suggest to others to do the same.
However, the idea that she shouldn’t even run is bull crap. Can a freakin congressman beat a sitting President? Can a Mormon? Can a Pizza guy with no politcal experience? Thats 5 of the candidates right there. Why are we not asking that? Because its all about stopping Palin.
- Anonymous
Nick…nice post and I agree…
- http://twitter.com/RichMcCreedy Richard McCreedy
The second part is right. Reagan wasn’t a favorite of the political pundits. However, heading in to the primary, Reagan WAS, at the very least, co-favorite along with H.W. Bush to get the R nomination. During the general, he was polling dead even most of the way with Carter (obviously, that turned out to be incorrect, as Reagan cruised over Carter). Either way, if Palin enters she won’t be anything close to the front-runner in terms of primary polling, and when she’s put head to head against Obama it’s a complete and total disaster..not a dead even heat like Reagan.
- http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000152902441 Jeremy Volkens
Yeah I could’ve worded that better… Fact is it wasn’t until last month or so leading up to the election that polls started to draw closer. Prior to that was a different story. Here’s just one example:
ABC Poll (May 1980)- Carter Leads Reagan 58% to 40%: 18% Spread
http://www.harrisinteractive.com/vault/Harris-Interactive-Poll-Research-FORD-LEADS-BOTH-CARTER-AND-REAGAN-ALTHOUGH-STILL-UNDECLARED-CANDIDATE-1980-03.pdf - Anonymous
It’s more then a year away. None of the experts believe that these numbers are fixed in stone. Rasmussen, Gallup and everyone else will tell you that a poll a year out is NOT accurate. It only shows trends but like the weather and the financial markets, trend lines change quickly and often.
Sarah has bounced from 10-20% nationally for over a year now. This is better then anyone in the field except Romney.Cain is going back to 5%. Bachman just polled 10% in NH in a week of great press for her (that’s a tie with Paul and 33% behind Romney).Once Palin declares she will be the only one within spitting range of Romney. Unless you are a huge fan of RomneyCare then you should definitely want there to be some competition and opposing ideas in the primary We need to get our message straight and strong and that only happens when there is vigorous competition (I learned that from SP).
Forget this 45%. The question is why don’t YOU want Sarah to run?
- http://twitter.com/RichMcCreedy Richard McCreedy
Because I don’t think she can win the general. Pretty simple and straight-forward.
- Anonymous
If it is her against Obama are you going to vote for her or stay home and be resentful?
- Anonymous
Don’t worry. If she’s a poor candidate then she won’t beat Romney. It’s what a primary is for.
- Anonymous
I personally think she is the only one that can beat Obama. If you run a Romney, who basically professes to support the same policies that Obama supports, why would anyone vote for him? Why change leadership if there is no difference between the choices. Pawlenty has even less of a chance; Bachman has no chance, Cain has no chance. On and on….

Hello?? Is this thing on?? This was a Rasmussen poll of Republican PRIMARY (key word) voters. In other words, not independents, or the left, or even the establishment. No, when you start talking about a party’s primary voters, you are talking about the base of the party.

As she did in Alaska she will do in Washington. Corrupt polititions beware. She has my vote along with millions of others. Of course the GOP fears her as does the Left, she deals in truth and America! Run Sarah Run!
- Professor Why
Eh, it’s all very simple, at least in my opinion… If she can’t win or is unelectable (as some have said), then if she runs for the nomination that’ll be borne out… I personally think she could whip Obozo from one side of the country and back again easily, but as I said, that’s my opinion…
Point is, it’s easy to characterize something according to what a poll says (would love to see the polling sample, how the question was asked, etc.), but reality likes to throw curveballs at those characterizations all the time…

I know one thing for sure, though — this is a VERY strong field that’s being put together so far… If Sarah Palin joins them, the field will only get stronger! I’m looking forward to seeing how ALL of the candidates do with putting forth their platforms, differentiating themselves from one another, dealing with the Alinskyites in the MSM, and so forth… Any one of them could whoop up on Obozo…
So, what say we get some popcorn, watch the fireworks, and enjoy the show…

I think her support is needed to back a candidate, but on her own she could not win. She has a fanatic, Obama zombie-esque base that would take a bullet for her; but beyond that core, cult-like group, she’s unpopular. Heck no, I’d vote for Palin over Obama in a heart beat.
I just don’t think she can get elected. Any of the other GOP candidates would do about the same things as Palin, like repeal Obamacare, open up more areas for drilling etc…
If I had my wish, Ron Paul would be president, so I know the enthusiasm you folks are feeling for one candidate. But let’s be realistic here, someone like Pawlenty may not be exciting but at least he has a chance to win over some independents, along with the base that is determined to see Obama out of there. I also think Rick Perry would beat Obama if he ran. Palin, on the other hand, has no chance, mostly for situations she’s created (resigning as Governor, not being able to answer simple questions, being more gaffe-prone than Joe Biden). Independents are going to decide this election. Most of them turned off Obama, is Palin the best person to pick those folks up?
- Anonymous
agree completely, I always wonder about palin’s supporters, do they care about beating obama or not ?. Don’t they understand Math, Independents do not listen to talk radio watch fox news, infact most of them don’t follow the news much, Independents dont dig Palin, I have many independent friends who hate the lady, there is no way they will vote for her, and they dont hate Obama as much as we do, they will vote for him again if we offer Palin. Such simple logic, and still the palin supporters dont get it.

Oh, this is rich. A Ron Paulnut accusing Palin supporters of being “zombie-esque”.
Here’s a clue: Ron Paul is a nutjob anti-Semite who thinks America deserved 9/11 and is obsessed with Fed conspiracy theories. He is not a conservative and he should have been kicked out of the Republican Party the first time he said we had 9/11 coming. Paulnuts like you are ridiculed because you deserve to be ridiculed for backing a candidate who hates America and everything it stands for.

Polls this far out are meaningless. Here are the Gallup GOP Poll Results from August 2007:
http://www.gallup.com/poll/28447/New-Gallup-Poll-Romney-Posts-Modest-Gains.aspx
1. Giuliani 32%
2. Thompson 19%
3. Romney 14%
4. McCain 11%
5. Huckabee 4% - Anonymous
Many good comments here. I’ll add my humble one, which really hasn’t been touched on yet, but possibly may occur. All we have to do to guarantee MaObama another four years is to nominate Romney. That should clinch it. I do not see how he can continue to look strong in ANY poll; but that’s just me!
- Han Solo
Not electable…not electable…hmm I have heard that before?
Oh yeah people have said that about Ron Paul who is currently a very close third in the Gallop poll and has more support than any other candiate in the moderates-lean-republican category (eg take the middle away from Obama).
/shoe os on the palin foot now, her poll negatives are like hillary clinton size.

wait for july 26 when she can no longer be sued for things like frivilous ethics charges, then, perhaps the actual GOP candidates will become more clear, with Bachman and Palin leading the way, then, pass out the pop corn…the party will really start..

man r u deluded ron paul for president r u kidding…what planet r u living on. ur basing ur logic on a poll ths early, polls this early r a waste of time.

…ok, so was it just the establishment GOP’ers that were polled, because if any Tea Partier was asked if Gov Palin should run, I would venture to guess everyone of them would answer, “you’re got dam right she should run”…with no hesitation…The GOP establishment are just as nervous if the Governor should run and win the presidency, because most of them, as Rush has said before, would be left on the outside looking in….and that is something they can’t seem to live with…..please run, Sarah…
- Anonymous
not really…reason they dont wont palin to run is because she cant win. Get out into the real world, this country is very diverse, there are more dems and independents than conservatives weather u like it or not, and they wont vote for her simple.

The Media CANNOT allow that to happen.

I’ve PERSONALLY seen her on Fox News talking about (and I quote), “the RIGHTS of govt”……NEWSFLASH SARAH…..GOVT DOESN’T HAVE RIGHTS….and this is a “simple” one, I’ve seen her time and time again show she has NO concept of our unalienable rights, who has them, etc. Then there’s the whole Agenda 21 thing. There’s a lot that people who “like” her, have chosen to ignore…..for instance:
As Governor, Palin formed the Alaska Climate Change Sub-Cabinet. According to the US Evironmental Protection Agency, “On September 14, 2007, Governor Sarah Palin signed Administrative Order No. 238, officially forming the Alaska Climate Change Sub-Cabinet. The Sub-Cabinet is charged with preparing and implementing an Alaska Climate Change Strategy. This will be a transparant document which deals with state policies for anticipated climate change.”
Hmmmm, in 2007 Sarah was a greenie? Interesting.
THE REAL SARAH PALIN:
1. Sarah Palin helped establish “invasive, aggressive” Community Policing in rural Alaska. Once mayor, she brought in millions of communitarian redevelopment grants. The Community and economic development program for Wasilla is exactly the same as Obama’s Chicago rebuilding community activism; both are based on the goals of Agenda 21.
3. As Governor, Palin signed two state proclamations that supported Alaska Model United Nation Days and Environmental Education Week (A lead-in to the UN’s Earth Day).
4. Palin supports the ratification of the UN Law of the Sea Treaty. Palin wrote in her letter of support, “I want to put my administration on record in support of the convention as the predicate for asserting sovereign rights that will be of benefit to Alaska and the nation.”
5. As Governor, Sarah Palin’s “Education in Alaska” proposed similar reforms that have existed in federal law, such as “Goals 2000,” “School-to-Work, “Improving America’s Schools,” “No Child Left Behind,” “Workforce Investment Act,” etc. – all tied to declining academic quality in public education.
6. After the Republican National Convention, Palin was flown to UN headquarters to meet with Kissinger. Kissinger has stated and written numerous times his support for a New World Order.
7. As Governor, Palin did not sign Alaska’s SB202 to prohibit state funding and implimentation of the federal Real ID Act. The bill was allowed to become law (without Palin’s signature) and went into effect 8/26/2006.
8. Palin Supported the Bankster Bailout Bill. Katie Couric asked in an interview with Palin, “Why isn’t it better, Governor Palin, to spend $700 billion helping middle-class families struggling with health care, housing, gas and groceries? … Instead of helping these big financial institutions that played a role in creating this mess” Palin responded, “Ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up the economy– Oh, it’s got to be about job creation too. So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions.”
Hmmmm, the bailout is need to shore up the economy…..yep, just another “STUPID” REPUBLICAN HACK that thinks that govt “creates jobs”…..WOW…..yeah, I think I’ll pass on Sarah Palin

That’s because they’re sheep, don’t do their homework, and are content with their chains of fascist, big govt slavery. Can’t fix stupid, “Palinistas” fall into the same category of “Obamanites”, all “cult of personality”, no substance. Care to dispute any of the facts above about Palin? Or will you just overlook the fact that she’s just as big govt as the rest of them because “you like her”?

Just make your point and leave it at that instead of trolling for a fight.

Trolling for a fight? For stating FACTS about Palin?
“Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence” – John Adams
I’m here to post the facts, and if people choose to ignore those facts, those “warning signs” if you will, the same “warning signs” people chose to ignore with Barack Obama, then American ends up with YET ANOTHER Unconsitutional President, if that happens, I suggest we all be prepared for the consequences that will surely follow when the SHTF….just sayin.

I think alot of people don’t mind government as long as it is the way they want it to be…I don’t think many actually know her complete record of what her governmental accomplishments are-I saw your post and have read those things about her. I believe she is much more center than many want to actually believe about her.
- http://twitter.com/cfallon57 Cheryl Fallon
Not everyone that voted for McCain did so because of Palin-some actually liked him-I didn’t but I didn’t want Obama. I didn’t know Palin then but hoped for the best. I don’t know if the American people would get behind her if she were the nominee, I know I don’t want four more years of Obama…I think she is more to the center than her followers want to believe…she told Greta she could work with Reid and Pelosi-I believe her…her time in AK showed she worked across party lines to get things done-maybe that is the only way to be an effective politician-right now I am not sure that is what the country needs considering all things…but I am not a politician so I wouldn’t know how to get things done the Washington way!

Is there any chance that these 45% were Romney, Cain, Bachmann, and Paul supporters that are worried that Palin will get in the race and kick the ass of their preferred candidate?
Also, since when was someone competing for the GOP nomination bad for the Republican party?
Where do we live? Venezuela or Cuba?
Quit whining and begging and work to defeat Palin if she decides to run for the GOP nomination.
Some of you sound weak and pathetic.

It will take a woman to kick Obummer’s ass out and back to Kenya. Many panty waist women don’t like Palin because she is so real and they are so Fake! They haven’t accomplished much and she has mad her way with all she has don and she is very pretty and vivacious and they are not. So suck it up women and get on with ridding the nation with the Obummer disaster. This man is a panty waist, he has never been even a Cub Scout!

The whole “Sarah Palin as kingmaker” meme makes no sense unless you buy into the notion that she has all these adoring mindless “fans” who hang on her every word and will do anything she says. Uh, that’s not the reality no matter how much the Palin detractors want it to be.
I support Sarah Palin as a candidate for President. If she decides not to run I have no more use for her. Oh, I’ll still admire her and wish her well. I hope she makes millions. But once she’s out of the race nothing she says or does matters. I’ll decide what candidate to support in the primary and I’ll send them money directly if I chose to do so. I would never give money to any PAC, ever. I don’t believe in redistribution of wealth, after all, and I don’t need someone else to spend my money for me. In fact, if Palin does decide to run I probably won’t give her any money until the general. I gave Thompson money when he first announced and all that got me was having my email sold.
If Palin doesn’t run she will validate everything her detractors say about her. And it’s true that her endorsement is not always welcome, and can hurt a candidate. So the whole “kingmaker” thing makes no sense to me.

Rush is absolutely correct. How can one be a King Maker, yet not be able to lead the charge herself? The simple answer is, wait for it,wait for it,
because this woman would DERAIL the status quo on both sides of the aisle. The lib’s a terrified of her because of her connection with the average American,
and the Repub’s because of the way she handles Big Business, ie. big oil in Alaska. She would do something that has not been done in 150 years, that is tell it like it is to the American people, the Lib’s hate the truth because it expose’s all their phoney pipe dreams and schemes and the average American love her because they know in their hearts that we have been complacent for to long at the risk of losing our Liberty and everything this great country was built upon because the lib’s don’t think we deserve it.
Palin/West 2012, lets draft them!

Rush – she takes the flak. As a candidate, they’d empty both barrels on her and there would be nobody to take the flak for her. She’s talked about as a possible candidate because they want her to run. They don’t understand though – we aren’t afraid of their name calling anymore.
