Rush Limbaugh: It’s the Statue of Liberty – not the Statue of Immigration!

Rush corrects the record of Obama’s misuse of the “The New Colossus” poem inside the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty. Obama is trying to use it to use to push his immigration reform, but Rush says that’s not at all what Emma Lazarus meant:

    Global Liberty… what a concept!

    I can picture it now…

    Beck and Limbaugh, speaking to huge stadiums about the “original intent” of Lady Liberty… with her forward movement and her torch lighting the way forward… to “global freedom”… and the “individualist” constitutional republic form of government.

    Freedom from the tyranny of the “collectivist” commune democracy ideology of the big government progressives, liberals, socialists, marxists/leninists, communists, communitarianists and whatever “ist” comes down the pike.
