Romney may have gotten some boos, but he also got more applause and a standing O at the end. He might not win many hearts and minds at a NAACP venue, but I'm sure he must have won some respect for showing up, even if it's grudging.
NObama will not go there. He has nothing to offer them. His recent flip flop on homosexual marriage riled a LOT of blacks - many of whom are religious. He has no fresh meat to throw them either. That whole 1% "fair share" nonsense only works with lazy white liberals who lap it up like good doggies.
A standing O! At the NAACP. Remember when Romney was boring? He seems to have picked up the pace. I have to give him props for going in and telling it like it is. Did he win any converts? Who knows, but some of this will sink in and some will think about it. I am impressed with the standing O. Do you do this because you like what he is saying or out of repsect? Either way this is a big F'ing deal.
1st 30 minutes of the 2nd hour were hilarious. For those of you that don't get the regular sound bytes of Rahm Emmanuel, it is golden. The guy is such a hack that he sounds like a bad actor reading a cliche script for what a leader is supposed to sound like, except he sounds about as genuine as Romney.
Maybe Romney's speech will hit home at some level but I doubt it. I don't think the majority of whom the NAACP represent really want to work anyway.

Well, at least she got a subpoena. My local paper gave my email address to a lawyer representing a muslim accused of rape. I simply posted about islamic doctrine. My email carrier said he didn't think the lawyer even had a subpoena.

I think it's a stupid order, FYI, but also inevitable. The ruling class does not like being criticized, they never have. This is why we have a first amendment and second amendment and why these are always under assault.
